Luna took the book with her magic. She looked at the cover of the book which held the title of the book, which is about history of civilizations. Blue walks and stood beside her, intrigued by the book. They would not react quickly, as they open the book and flipped to one of the pages.

"Boring chat?" Light questioned.

"What if this has something to do with your sister?" Light said to Molotov

"" You're smart right? You think no one wouldn't notice your sister? For example... Cali over there... I don't know what her intention is... But what a coincidence her being here... And the 2 mares... I don't know why they're here either... Might be a coincidence...

and for me.... Well I'll spare you the suspense and say... It's not a coincidence."

Light noticed that he got Molotov's full attention, he expected nothingless from a caring brother.

Light starts to notice Molotov's face is starting to get serious.

"Don't worry... If i had Ill intention... I would've taken your sister while the creature was distracting you all... And for those 3 mares bickering about royalty and history I'm sure they have no Ill will on your sister.... They already completely forgot that we existed."

Light paused and observed the dimension he is in.

"But. Lets just say my BOSS noticed this dimension to have a lot of problems... Lets say maybe your family causing a lot of trouble. And your sister a potential threat... If my boss noticed her... You think the rest of the big shots wouldn't?

So what do you think about our boring chat? Should we continue?"

“Okay then, everyone wants to see me look like a clown? I guess I have to honor that request.”

Frankly, Sen didn’t know what a clown looked like, but he wouldn’t want to spoil himself by asking what it was before he got a chance to see it for himself. Though going by what his sister said, he’d probably wonder if the facial hair was part of the getup. The most he was hoping for himself is if Lin’s and Omen’s request was a tame one.

The siblings would follow Rosa to see a line growing by the stand that would provide them with their needs. Nearby were some machines and other booths where they could continue playing, and it would be the distraction Sen might want to try his luck and win something for the night. But, seeing as he’s already gone through five rounds of various games with Rosa, he’d give himself a rest. Lin and Omen were also coming from a fishing game, and it was unlikely they’d want to give up their spot on the line. Omen’s response and willingness to wait cemented their option.

“We’ll wait here as well. I’d like to take a moment to rest from playing games.”

“So, what was the Mayor Soda Stream like? What did you talk about?”

“Welcoming and friendly, younger than what his looks suggest. He says if Elder Ghilan wants to come over and meet him, he could do so. We ought to inform him about the visit though. He was asking about you and Rosa, though he probably knew that from speaking with Queen Cheshire. Now that I think about it, what would you like to do once we’re done here?”

Lin posed her question to the others. Sen seems to be preoccupied with the whole face painting thing for now, which left Rosa and Omen. At this point, the longma didn’t really seem to notice how much time was passing by simply because there was just so much to do. They’ve done quite a few things now, and there seems to be more, at least in Lin’s to-do list.

In the wilderness, far off the beaten path, sat a tent, with a smoldering campfire. The coals were getting colder, yet a little amount of smoke still rose from it.

The campsite overlooked an old, overgrown heap of a temple. Were it not for the small hole overlooking near the top, one would hardly be able to tell this were not just a hill, rather than a half-submerged temple of unknown origins. Somepony must have been there before.

And somepony were indeed there. Sprayed out in front of the tent, shaking in cold sweat, laid a stallion.

0AOAL2X.png

His hat laid on the ground, whilst his jacket were in tatters. Judging by the long cut on the side, it seemed somewhat obvious that he had been hit by something, or some creature. And whatever it had been, might have been poisonous, as the cold sweat and twirling were not making him look good.

There were a selection of herbs and a mortal nearby, along with water, and a few odds and ends, so he appeared to have been ready to fix this himself. It appeared he had passed out before getting far though, and as such, whatever were afflicting him, were ransacking through him. It were probably nothing lethal, but it seemed obvious that it were not pleasant, and it left him very vulnerable. Considering the area had some predators in it, that were not a good thing.

Fuchsia approaches cautiously. This was not a safe area and even though it looked like a pony in need, you could never be sure. She had had her fair share of surprises from beings (including ponies!) pulling the whole 'pony in distress' ruse she knew nothing of the temple. She had already prowled the area looking for any ambushers.

Her normally bright Fuchsia coat was daubed in dirt to mask her scent and make her less conspicuous. Even her fuchsia furred ears are camouflaged - her battered leather Stetson sports a specially made mesh which allows them to poke through but also hide them from hostile eyes. They currently twitch brightly this way and that as she considers what to do. Eventually she decides; she picks up a clump of dirt in her grubby hoof. With a final check on her path of retreat she casts it near the stallion's face and ducks down as far behind the undergrowth as it will allow. Her haunches tingle, ready to bolt at any sign of hostility.

Charir didn't actually poke anyone, he wasn't that naive, but he did look at the guards a moment longer than the two females did, trying to figure out if the metal was actually growing out of them, but after seeing how it moved related to rest of their bodies, he concluded that it wasn't part of them and instead was just something they wore, which he found bit weird since from his point of view they didn't seem to offer any protection since his claws could penetrate metal, but didn't question any further. He then paid attention to Leviathan again, the reason why he focused on her, was simply because he had figured out she was the one leading the way.

When the guards were gone, Ruby spoke again "I would like to see in their heads to know if they really are serious when they try to warn someone like me." "And I'm not boasting or anything, I just can't imagine myself being able to keep a straight face if I went to a dragon three times my size to tell them that I can't protect them if they go further." the one and only thing about ponies that Ruby found fascinating was their mind, they acted so illogically for a prey animal and she was curious what caused it. "That aside, shall we?"

-------------------------------------------
Nada just watched for a moment out of the window trying to figure out what she was seeing, how did ponies work? sure Ziggy wasn't fully pony, but pony enough. Berry's words brought Nada back to the right planet "Aright, and thanks for the books, I'd appreciate it if you could bring them to me again at some point, I won't take them with me for now since I don't want them to get wet." she would then wake up Agni and inform him that she was going into the forest through the water if he wasn't yet aware, and with a smile she said "See you later Berry." before diving into the water and swimming away, she would pop her head out of the water as soon as she felt the river was covered well enough for her to not be seen, and would moves slowly until she met back up with Ziggy if she wasn't around when she popped her head out.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Scarecrow, as he had said, stayed quiet most of the time, just looking at the mare with neutral expression, he found it curious that she needed to take a better look of the two to realize what they were...or well, what Lyriel was and he looked like, but that was probably a good sign, since it meant he didn't stick out as much as he had in his real form.

He again stayed quiet as Lyriel talked to the officer, looking around but not really moving much, mainly seeing if there was anything he recognized around, and not as in if he had seen them before, that would have been most buildings for example, but in the context of memories, if anything was connected to one of the random pieces of memories in his mind, but nothing came up during the time he had. This was a action that showcased his differences to most living creatures again a bit, as, even though it was a minor detail, someone may notice that he didn't really move his 'eyes' to look at things, and instead moved his whole head towards the things he looked at, sure it wasn't anything too revealing necessarily, but it may seem bit weird for some.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Trox was the first one to wake up, because while he had passed out lot later, he had been in better shape from the start and thus took less time to recover, but he didn't move right away, and instead just stared into nothingness for a second or two, there was a reason for it, though anyone inside the hospital wouldn't probably understand it, as it was the time that took for his cybernetics to turn back on, usually it was instantaneous, but usually they didn't run out of power. After that second he looked towards Onache and was about to ask who she was before she spoke, which told him the answer before he even asked, he may have not known what changelings were, but the type of transformation magic they used was so well known that every guard and solider had tech that allowed one to see right through it, meaning that the concept of someone looking different wasn't that weird to him.

"Thank you." was the first words that came out of him "For helping us....until of course..I'm wrong and.. you sold us...to some kind.. of.. medical museum... as props." though he was partly joking, he saw it as possibility, this place seemed ancient yet is was clean and new, meaning that it was taken care of. Then depending on where the table with the fruit was he either reached for one or asked if Onache could give him one, and would then proceed to eat it whole with the peel and all, kobolds could eat almost anything, and considering how hungry he was, he didn't care if it would taste better without the peel.

Sheska would wake up too, though she would start by quietly muttering something about it being bright while she put her hand on where the collar used to be to out of reflex, and after getting her surroundings she would turn towards Trox and ask "Why are.. we in.. a museum?" she seemed to be utterly confused, and she was, if it wasn't for the fact that she was still dazed, she would have jumped up and demanded answers from the nearest creature, in this case Onache, who she hadn't yet noticed.

@Blitz Boom

As the clod of dirt lands without reaction she cautiously raises herself up and surveys the stallion. She eyes his horn suspiciously, looking for any tell-tale spark. She wasn't overly worried by the stallion's unusual dark green coat, which in his current predicament was giving him a truly unhealthy pallor. (The colour was rarer in the colourful world of her pony home, but she had been many places where the cheerier the appearance the greater the malice.) The pseudo-melanistic multihued coat with large dark splotches round his closed eyes gave him an eerie appearance to her, like a ghost stallion.

She surveys the strange stallion's possessions - the hat looked rather plush, suggesting he was not some vagabond, but the tattered jacket and herbs suggested otherwise. She recognised them for what they were, and she relaxes a little - if he had time to prepare a healing salve then the beast is unlikely to be near and only a particularly meticulous rogue would include such details in a trap, so he was probably safe.

Fuchsia debates with herself internally - he looks inauspicious. Should she just rifle through his pockets and be on her way, as so many travellers - many of them ponies - had done to her when she was worse for wear? He looks seriously hurt though - she'd worry that he didn't make it - nopony else around for miles, and the beast or beasts might come back. Also why is he out here? What was he doing?

Ultimately she resolves to approach. Even if he was hostile he might still trade some information for the assist. Also she didn't have to use any of her materials to make him better!

She opts for a middle course: she rifles through his pockets/possessions, not looking for money, but any items that shed further light on the mystery stallion.

"Equines are strange sometimes. What else is there to say about it, right? And yeah, let's go see what we can find."

At first, they wouldn't be able ton find a whole lot. But about twenty meters in, they'd find a half-eaten boar, and three chimera tearing through it. A comparatively small snack for this many members of their kind at once, but one ate what were available sometimes, and lived with having to share. Not something their kind were used to, but they had their reasons for being together here.

One of their snake heads would spot the dragons in the sky, and hiss upwards. An action which would get the focus of them all, as their nine heads rose up, and looked at the scaled invaders with varied emotions. Mostly hunger, malice, and violence. Though the smallest one of them would be bashed away, and run off. Seems like they didn't want to share That much.

They were also saying something between one another, but it were impossible to hear from this distance. Maybe talk about who would eat who

She'd say her goodbyes, and not really do much else after that. Beyond letting Agni outside that were, as he flapped over and started to peck at the window, once Nada had left. If he were going to find her, or just fly off for a time, were hard to say though.

Ziggy would be waiting some way further down the river, head still in the water. Upon seeing the siren, she would wave so enthusiastically, that she lost her balance, and ended up flopping into the river. Didn't make her less enthusiastic, and just made her be more on Nada's level as she got closer to the zegasus.

"Heya! Nice weather for a swim, right? Hehe."

She wasn't as fast in the water as in the air, or on land, so she'd paddle around at a more reasonable speed for a pony, giggling a little to herself, until Nada would start to lead them on.

@Catpone Cerberus

Stargazer would be done taking the report shortly, and would end up letting out a long, drawn out sigh, and just shake his head.

"A lot to take in here, but you were right bringing her to me. Poaching endangered animals are a highly illegal practice, though I will have to ask around to hear how it pertains to cockatrices. Though even then, I can't blame the animal for defending itself. I'll keep her here until the doctor returns with the antidote, and then take it from there."

"Thank you, sir. And please, when she wakes up? Inform her that she is not welcome in my forest anymore."

He'd nod, and drag the statue a little to the side, where it were less in the way. Seeing as he were a big, muscular bat pony, it didn't take him much effort.

As for Scarecrow, he'd indeed find that some took notice of him. Though not really for the way he looked around, but more because of how he were looking like an evergrown. And in the case of one particular colt, because he had a pretty bird on his head.

Scarecrow wasn't the first evergrown most had seen, but their kind had been rare for a long time, so it were still a sight to behold for most. He'd though find, that they were not hostile. A fair few even giving him smiles, or a wave if they noticed him looking at them.

If he were so inclined, Lyriel would try and direct him towards moving along. They may as well have a small look around now they were here, yes?

"I don't believe that selling higher sentience creatures are an option, among the ponies."

The way she phrased it, would likely give them the insight that she weren't against the idea, but just didn't think it were something that she could do here. Though truthfully, she'd still not have sold them. They had some usage for her, if they were on her good side, that would outweigh some petty cash, more than likely. And selling slaves were not a thing she partook in regardless. She took her own, and kept them. Or rather she used to. This would be one of those things she would have to accept were needed to be left behind now.

"And this is a hospital, not a museum. I have seen some of those, and this is not filled with nearly enough trash to constitute a museum. It is also far nosier, outside these doors."

She had seen museums in some of the towns she had sacked. Frankly, she were not impressed, and found them boring places, where ones gathered junk, for the sake of history. Utterly pointless waste of time and resources, far as she were concerned.

As for the fruit, they were within reaching distance of the kobolds, so they could easily get to it, and find a variety of fruit. Though mostly apples.

23 hours ago, Catpone Cerberus said:

"Why are.. we in.. a museum?"

Hearing this voice, would make Onache turn around and position herself better, that she may glance at them both more properly.

"You are in the Ponyvile Hospital. Not the best I have seen, but it is tolerable, and does its primary function well. I am Queen Onache. Hivemother, and the one who brought you here to be healed.

And if you are so inclined to ask: They did not know what your kind were either, and directed many questions towards me about that matter. I ensured they did not waste time on such frivolous questions, though their haze will lift in time. As you seem to be at better health, I assume that you would be able to deal with their insistent little questions?"

She'd use her horn, and float a can of water, and two tall glasses towards the table. The former filling the later, before the glasses were set down.

"And seeing as you roamed my desert, I take it you will need this too. You appear to be at poor health from where I stand."

@Califorum

While Magnolia went and dealt with the unsuspecting earth pony, Magnolia would pop back out of the haystack, and spit out some of the hay. The nice pony who stood next to it asked in to her health, but she dismissed his kindness with a minor *I'm fine, thank you* comment.

This had been fairly unpleasant, but she had to get back on her hooves, and prepare for the next attack. As she hadn't been charged yet, that was a good sign, but it wouldn't last. She had to work fast, and gather up more magic.

She couldn't see Magnolia, so she got to work straight away, and would begin to lift various specks of residue magic to use from, mixing it with a few of the things she had on her, spit, her own magic, and a little of something more she still had in one beaker. There were a lot of residual friendship magic to work with here, and even some flickers of harmony magic, which were fairly powerful. She could use that. As could she chaos, though it made her nervous. It were strong, but could make things unpredictable. Yet against Magnolia, she may have to be that, to have anything to do.

She would be able to finish two concoctions  - one small, one larger - before the screech of somepony in a nearby house caught her attention. And that of several others. It were the house of Magnolia's target, who wasn't able to fight back from what she were doing to him, after her ambush. Nor could anyone make it to him in time to stop the process. Though Magnolia could try and make him screech more, to get Zeehva to come to her. It'd work eventually, so why not? Why, she were already moving towards the sound, and on occasion, shimmer a faint amount, as she stumbled along.

"I'd like to explore more of the carnival, and perhaps catch one of the theater performances before it closes down. I know we need to be up early, so it likely won't be too much more we realistically could do, before needing to sleep, but I'd like for this to last for as long as I can. I'm going to need the warm memories, for the foreseeable future."

"Many things to see. Many to eat, too."

Omen thought on it less sad than Rosa did, with her just wanting to experience things, and see what other things there were to eat. Which likely wouldn't be a bad thing to look into, eventually. And as for tomorrow, when the trial were set, they would at least not need to worry about travel. They had two that could transport them there, and that would save them some time, so they could likely still spend some hours here, and still manage to get a fair nap before the proceedings started.

As for the line, it would be about twenty minutes before it were their turn. The one in control of this booth, having just finished painting zebra stripes on a foal's face, that went giggling away from there with his parents. A pretty normal wish by some foals, after they started to see zebras.

As this group approached though, he looked confused between them, looking for the youngling that'd be with them. Though as he found none, he'd slowly go into a small smile, and look towards Lin, whom he assumed were the leader of this group.

"No younglings, I see. So one of you ended up the flank of a joke? Do tell, what is the wish, and who is the victim?"

He wouldn't be able to do the moustache, but told them of a place where they could purchase one. Though he did have a big, red nose for Sen, as the clown makeup were put on him. Another popular mask this one, and one that took a little time, as it were a full face mask. A shame he had no mane to fashion into proper hair, but ah well. It couldn't always be easy, and he did the best he could, to make Sen look like a right clown.

And of course, there'd be a big mirror he could look into. Just to see what he had wrought upon himself, when he uttered the want for a wager.

==========================================================

@abrony-mouse

The mud splattering on to this face, made the stallion stir slightly, and he'd weakly open one eye. It seemed he were trying to move a hoof over towards one of the things spread on the ground - namely a strange colored branch - but didn't get it before he winched, and lost consciousness again. Maybe if she made use of that, with what else had been prepared, she could end up helping him? Or she could leave him here, and the elements would have their fun with him. Or predators. The distant wolf howling didn't exactly say this place were fully safe after all.

If she got close enough to him, she'd end up being able to hear him mumble something under his pained breath, though it were scattered. Something about a dagger, and poison. Perhaps related to the bundle next to the tent? Which it were, if she checked, as it contained a crude looking knife without a handle, with some sort of orange slime on the blade. Along with a small section of blood on the edge of the blade itself, where it had seemingly hit someone. Likely this stallion, considering his condition.

Wasn't much blood though, so the wound itself were likely superficial. A cut on the side, as it turned out, if she looked. It were more whatever coated the blade, that were actually doing harm to him. But if she had the knowhow, she could use it, and whatever else were here, to perhaps get a makeshift antidote going.

Or make him vomit profoundly. Though that were one way to get the toxins out of your system, surely.

As she looked around his stuff, she'd find that there were a pouch of high value bits (25's and 50's), along with a badge and a photograph, showing this stallion to be named Billowing Smoke. An official adventurer, associated with the kingdom of Equestria. Which were a basic title you got when you donated enough found artifacts to the kingdom. An old standard, that gave a few bonuses here and there, and some favor in the eyes of some beings.

As for the hat, she'd find a clue that he were not some poor lad there too, as the feather on said hat, were made of pure silver. Not something a simple vagabond could get their hooves on that easily.

She could also find a map among his possessions (which involved high end, long time used things explorers would generally use. Like grappling hooks, a knife, a canteen, some ration packs, etc.) a map that would lead to the temple, and a warning of Gnarlteeth Vipers. A nasty sort of venomous snake, which if she knew of it, would also know that the knife were one of its fangs, that he had likely brought him hi to help with the antidote. Nasty poison it had, even if it wasn't lethal, as it would leave you falling in an out of consciousness for weeks, among other things, unless you got the antidote.

It were clear to her now that the thing with Tepe wasn't an anomaly. Windy could indeed see ghosts, or otherwise she wouldn't have reacted by seeing Razor pop in like this. Something which seemed to startle Tepe too, though in fairness, with a message like this, who wouldn't be startled? Though, the head through the wall, also meant she had to say something more, to ease them a little more.

"The others can't see him. Its a magic trick. Sort of."

Yet that being said, this were not the time to discuss things. It'd be better to do it outside, when there were less prying eyes and ears, when it came to something like this. Though they better hurry and eat the desert. Soon as it arrived, that were.

Of course, the enjoyment wouldn't be the same right now, due to the mood being ruined, but that were sadly just how it went. Best they could hope, were that it would lighten it up a little, before they were told why they apparently had to get out of town.

While Cali, Luna and Blue kept talking about killing and bad things like that, Blitz would wander off to the side, and withdraw a log from a pile of strange, gnarled wood, and start using her magic to break it apart. The others would be just about done with the worst of the bad talk, when a light would be seen to the side, and if they looked, they'd find the filly had an ember on her horn, and were scorching something. Even if they did not look though, as it were nothing massive, she'd soon bounce over to them, and hover something in the air:

A small, rough wooden figure of Pinkie, hooves to the side, going into a hug. The ember had been because she had scorched the facial expressions unto the figurine.

"Pinkie Pie says to smile, and make the whole world happy. Not hurt any unless they really, really deserve it, for doing many bad things to others. Nopony here's done bad, so let's smile!"

I were saying this were the boring chat, because I were asking into why you were here. 96,3% of the time I get visitors, it's for work-related stuff, so the odds were you had that angle too. And that is the boring talk, since the fun part is working on whatever I got asked to make.

And I'll have you know, that my sis the only family I got left. I don't care what hole you would crawl into if you grabbed her. I'd find it, get her back, and napalm the entire area, if I had to. Ain't nopony taking my family again. You get that?"

He'd get a momentary harsh look in the one visible eye he had, as he were making it crystal clear that he weren't gonna take it idly, if somepony tried anything with his sister. He weren't a violent pony by nature, but when you put somepony in a corner, you best be ready for a fight. Difference were that his way of fighting, included things that could pulverize half of Canterlot.

Though the look were brief, and he'd soften up again rather quickly.

"But ain't no reason for us to be enemies, right? Like I said before: The battery she used to accidentally open that tear, is gone, and I'm gonna go torch the schematics for it after this. I ain't messing with anything that can open interdimensional heebie-jeebies up like this. Besides, this here were one tear, and it's closed again. We're not trying to make the world into cheese. I prefer my dimension nice and stable, thank you very much.

If you boss got beef with this, I'll send him a fruit basket, and a signed note promising this ain't gonna happen again. It was just a random, scientist accident, when she tried to make a special light display. Nothing with malice here."

As Molotov said that, over at the workshop, a hatch above the arge door would creak open, and something sharp and metallic would start to poke out. First a tip, but then rapidly, the entire form of the large, mechanical spider would show itself, as she crawled out of said hatch, and landed on the ground with a soft puff, as the sharp legs landed expertly on the ground.

C3w5pBJ.jpg

(found on a random google search. I claim no ownership)

Felicia was big. Really big, compared to a regular spider. Enough room on her abdomen for a pony to lie down comfortably on top of the bulb, and the main body to take one or two more, depending on side, that could simply stand there. Her eyes were shinning red diodes, and while she did not have teeth, she did have the two front grabbers that a spider would normally have over at her mouth. Something which she did not have either, as her purpose were not to eat, but to protect. That her legs were razor-sharp and bladelike should tell as much, regardless of how beautiful she were, from a certain technological angle. Like a piece of art, which is also what she were to Molotov, who had put everything he got into making her. From the chassis to the interior, and the power source keeping her functional, all aspects of her had tested his capabilities to the maximum, and he were proud of the work.

He had considered added faux fur to her once, but he figured it'd ruin her somehow. She looked better like this, though she'd probably freak any arachnophobe right out.

Just as she hit the ground, she'd hlet out a steam-like hissing sound, and focus her eyes on the various, unknown entities.

"Stay calm everypony! This here's Felicia. My latest AI creation. She's just worried we're under attack after all that ruckus, that's all. She ain't gonna hurt anypony.

And yes, I said I made her. Dunno who that one one you rambled on about were lady, but I ain't ever heard of them, and I ain't sharing credit on Felicia. She took all I got to create her, and I'll be darned if some ponce I never heard of before, is gonna think he's getting his brand on her schematics."

In case any of them tried to attack Felicia, she'd avoid it. She were rather nimble and fast, but wouldn't attack. Not yet, anyway.

@Blitz Boom

Fuchsia was already fairly sure she should help the stallion, but once it became clear that not only was he an adventurer, but an Official adventurer, which she one day hoped to be herself, she resolved not to waste any more time and to help him as soon as possible, still alert to the danger of the situation and the potential threat of the unfamiliar Gnarl Snake poison to the stallion (which she comes to learn is called Billow Smoke). She continued to rifle through and saw the map and the warning - she was relived not to have bumped into the snakes herself - it seems his preparation was better than hers as she had no idea about the danger. While rifling through his possessions she had caught his fevered mumbling and gestures. She carefully replaces all the possessions not useful to her efforts.

It didn't take her long to gather the ingredients and gathered the coloured stick, bloodied knife with slime, mortar and pestle and ingredients and began to prepare a salve using his preparations and her intuition concerning poisons. She had received a snake bite or two in her time - never too serious - but she knew how to mix up a crude antidote. Before applying it she rinsed her mouth with water and, using her basic poison knowledge, sucked at the wound, hoping to draw out some poison and clean the wound a little. Then she applied the antidote to the wound and her lips.

She stands back to observe the effects, heart pounding.  Now she knows that this is a fellow and more experienced adventure with knowledge and gear she is all the more keen to either find out what he knows or maybe even partner up for a bit. That temple sounded intriguing and confirmed the tip off that there were ancient cultural monuments in the area - something for the journal for sure (Fuchsia is more of a explorer for exploring's sake than a treasure hunter).

"friend... Well that was quick... I was expecting ... More of a struggle with you... Huh... Im lost for words..." Light stood there with a weird poker face.

"Now what am i gonna do with all the prepared lines i made for this encounter.." Light then took his notes then started burning it with his magic.

" Okay now...about your sister." Light then suddenly noticed blitz handing a pinkie toy to the mares. Light's face starts to pale and sweat. As if a horrible flash back is coming back at him...

"Um.... Hey... About your pinky pie here... How...is she?... How much did it infe... I mean influence your sister.... Have you noticed anything... Weird with her?... I meant weirder than the usual her?"

Ginger Lightning got up on the stage "Meiko! here boy!" she got his favorite twilight toy out of her bag with her magic. She figured it would get him to come over.

She set the toy down and called him over again. She waited patently for him to come over.

"It's a little hard to get his attention sometimes...It's been a bit hard training him, but I think I've been doing pretty well..." she sighed and started tapping her hoof nervously, it's like simply being on stage made her nervous... She knew that her mane was a mess and she was not at all presentable currently so she dreaded the thought of someone seeing her on the stage and the judgement soon to follow... And then she realized that Cheshire could probably sense how nervous and anxious she was ; that she could sense her stage fright...

"S-So do you have any pets?" Ginger Lightning tried to distract Cheshire from her stage fright.

“If you’ll be heading out, I can tag along with you, Rosa. Or maybe we’ll catch up with you?”

Lin would stay a little further from the group. As much as she is confident in Rosa, as he could handle himself just fine, she wouldn’t mind seeing a little more of the carnival. She wanted a few things settled within the evening, but she wouldn’t mind doing something with Rosa so he’ll have some company. However, things would go a little different.

Meanwhile, Sen would stay in line with Omen. Twenty minutes passed before the longma would get his turn. He approached the booth’s owner, though he would address Lin anyway. She smiled and thought about the kind of look Sen would get before remembering to answer. Despite that, she’d still try to take it easy on her brother, knowing that she’d get a look at what she was curious about from earlier.

“Hello. My brother had a little wager with a friend and he lost, so he agreed to get his face painted to look like a clown. I admit, I’m not exactly sure what one looks like, but I trust you can make him look silly.”

“Normally, I’d say something against what she said, but a deal is a deal. If silly is what it takes, so be it.”

Sen sat down and closed his eyes. He’d leave it to the booth’s owner to paint his face to look like something he’s never heard about. Frankly, the idea of clowns as a whole is new to the longma. They wouldn’t know that they’d get the look of an entertainer known for being a common sight in children’s parties. Just the appearance alone would greatly contrast the longma’s appearances; colorful vs. drab, pastel colors that are the exact opposite of forest hues. Lin eagerly watched as the process went on, hoping to see for herself just what she and Omen chose for Sen. Maybe Rosa could get a kick out of it too.

"Worry not. I am not simply going to wander off on my own. I don't think I would be able to enjoy tonight all that well, were I not in your company. Though if you did lose me somehow, I don't think it would be long before you found me again. Though hopefully there won't be a chance of the crowds acting so irregular, that we ends up shattered around the town."

Rosa weren't going of on his own. He simply wanted to see more of this before they'd return back to rest before the trials. Though when the others were ready, he'd follow them. It would not be the same without them here, and he did get that in time, they'd have to rest. He may have to speak his own case to some degree when it were, and he had to be lucid for that.

"I will make sure to do my best then. Just sit still please."

After receiving payment from Omen, he would begin working on Sen. It'd be about ten minutes, but he were sure that there would be smiles about the work once he were done. Perhaps not so much from Sen, but he could already see the thestral for example, having quite a big smile on his face, as the big red nose got put on Sen's face.

"It is not perfect, as I am used to having manes to incorporate, but it is still quite well done. have a look in the mirror, if you will."

Rather typical, pastel colors, red mouth, and rosy cheeks. Some blue squares going over the eyes too, and a small heart, painted on the left cheek. Not the most imaginative perhaps, but clown faces were actually a matter of copyright. Hence, one had to be careful which one you used, or it might cause some issues. So folks like him, had a list of a few ones that were seen as *commercial use* faces, with this being the one he preferred, as the heart gave it a little extra touch. A shame there were no poofy hair, but ah well. It could not all be perfect now, could it?

"*snrk* Yes, do look Sen. I think this suits you rather well. Ever considered wearing big, floppy shoes?"

"Clown Sen... Honk?"

Omen would try and honk his fake nose, which rightly so, gave off a small honk. At which point Rosa couldn't hold back a hearty laugh anymore. It would indeed going to be a fun image they'd get after this.

Meiko looked up as he were called for, and when he saw his toy, would let out a small bark, and run up to the stage. He weren't big enough to get up there by himself, but he'd still try, and snap up towards the doll. Something which caused Cheshire to go into a large *d'aaaw*. Simply adorable, though she wondered what Twilight would think of having her likeness, being the chew toy for a wood pupper. She'd probably not care, though she couldn't tell. Never met the alicorn personally.

"Not that it have to be on an actual stage. I can feel you're a little nervous about being on one, in fact, yes? It's perfectly understandable, Ginger. The stage light isn't for everypony, but there's plenty to do besides that. Like setting the stage, working props,. dealing with non-magical outfits, and of course, setting up the harvesting bins under the seats. Buzzy does that for us. Excellent harvester, and can play a fantastic piano, but he doesn't like being the center of attention. Only performances he does, is backstage, to add some ambient music to the plays. Or during pauses.

Would you like or us to get off stage, and go meet everypony else? We can always wait with the rest of the tour until later."

The active poison wouldn't come out of the wound sadly, yet what inert she'd be able to get from there, would make her lips slightly buzz, and taste like fermented kiwi fruits. A rather weird, borderline disgusting taste, though not as bad as it would be, had she been tasting the active poison. Tasted more like something you'd find in the dirt, underneath a barrel of rotten fish.

Be that as were though, the antidote would work. Both on stoppig the slight buzzing she had, as well as stirring Billowing after a few minutes of twitching. At that point, he'd groan loudly, as he started to forced himself up. Not so much to thank her just yet though, but more because he felt the antidote working, knew what were about to happen, and were aware of how it would look, were he still on his back when it started.

And rightly so, he'd... **eject the venom orally*, so to speak. Ending in a rather foul smelling pile. Had he only his physical strength to use now, it would have to stay, but magic were thankfully a thing, and he's manage to get it buried, before, sitting down hard, and gasp for air. Then reach for his canteen, and take some big gulps from it. He needed the hydration, though it wouldn't do much against the bad taste in his muzzle. He'd need to sort that eventually. Once he had recuperated a little.

He'd finally open his eyes, and look around, to see if there were some here. At which point, his eyes fell upon his savior. A mare he had never seen before, but far as he were concerned, might as well have been a dear friend, considering that she had very likely been the one to help him finish, what he hadn't been able to himself.

"T-Thank you for the help, madamme. I owe you g-greatly for this kindness."

His voice were weak, but he'd get strength as the seconds ticked by. It were just the expulsion that had him feeling more feeble than he should be. A bit of time, and going through some of his rations, and he'd be better.

For now though, he'd start with bowing his head, and take some deep breaths.

She didn't care who was in these houses, she wanted this power for herself. She wanted to gather up as much magic as possible and without anyone tracking her down, so next time she would be extremely strong and powerful. Like before, the black smoke through the cracks and she began her spell on the next innocent pony. If they were a unicorn and tried anything against her, the smoke would simply dodge. She would silence them using her spell, so they couldn't call out this time. She relished in her new found strength. She wanted so much more.

Magnolia would enter a house containing a single unicorn female. A rather quiet looking one, that wandered around without making a sound. Though before she'd be able to make a move, she'd teleport away. Not voluntarily it seemed though. It appeared the spell came from a necklace she were wearing, and spooked her briefly. Some sort of defensive ward perhaps?

Considering this house reeked of several of them, she should assume so. Stuff meant to keep bad things outside, and if she knew her spells, not the sort that'd react kindly to dark magic. She were likely fortunate that she hadn't gotten the chance to capture this one, and try something. Though it would ask why somepony were this paranoid, and overly cautious in Ponyville. Sure it had their monsters, but this were a little far.

Oh well. If she moved to the next house, she'd find a pegasus drunk off his flank on the floor. An easy target, that wouldn't make a sound.

As for Zeehva, she came to the house, but sadly not in time. She just found a scared, weakened earth pony, and no trace to work with here. It seemed Magnolia had wizened up fast, which were a problem. If she were to track this one, she had to get something to work with. And with the magic likely changing some, due to what she had now stolen, it wouldn't work to go and scoop up some from the forests edge.

So she had to improvise. Which in this case, meant that she'd mix up some varied magics, three pebbles, and a hair from this unfortunate pony. As well as a sneeze. Litterally. She had to sneeze in the concoction. She didn't make the rules here.

After assuring the poor victim that she'd try and find whoever did this, she'd rush out, and look at the glittery, night-sky looking drink she had managed to make. A few shakes - only two. Three shakes were an entirely different thing - pop off the blockage she had set on top, and then, it were just to watch the smoke billow out.

It'd spread around her, which startled some. More so when it started to move in a direction, that she'd then follow. Said direction, were the one where her target were. While she couldn't seek her out specifically, Magnolia were a user of dark magic. Which were something that could be tracked. Especially now that she had started to clean up after herself. Wasn't like Ponyville were filled of users of dark magic.

Whilst on this hunt, she'd also keep mixing her other ones, to make sure she had more dosages. And liberated a vase as an impromptu beaker. She'd replace it later, in case she had to break it.

Blitz bounced around the irate... Creature, as she made some remarks about Felicia, that made the spiderbot respond in kind. Though the issue there being that her response, came in the form of whirrs, and other metallic sounds. It did make for a language, but it was a specialized one, that only Molotov, and an attentive local officer of the law were able to understand.

"He also says he's gonna make her a voice box, so she can talk one day. I bet she's gonna say lots of fun things, and sing happy songs."

She were more likely to use her first words, to tell her creator that he were a dingbat, but let that be what it were.

"You fought bad metal things before? *gasp* Are you some kind of superhero?! Or villain? I dunno. Does heroes kill things?"

This were a puzzling question really, and one that Blitz could sit and think about for awhile. Another time. Right now, she were too busy looking up at, and question, this odd creature. The same she'd do to most everypony else she ran into. This one were just lots more weird than them.

Peculiar pony that one, and definitely Blitz's big idol, since she liked all the party, happy faces, confetti, and of course, rampant, meaningless lunacy happening around her. I bet she'd like if she could do that, but nah. She's the same little sis of mine that she's always been. Well, much as she can be, with that massive amnesia she got after the crash, but I'm sure she'll remember eerything in time.

She's stil a powde rkeg best kept watch on though. I dunno how, but I've actually seen her made lint, and a broken cup with a bit of water in it, explode. Billowing will see a mare looking curiously at him with large lilac eyes. Her coat is difficult to discern under the dirt and Stetson, which covers her ears. A hint of pink can be seen from the mare's long tousled tail which flicks every so often in the breeze.

Fuchsia swilled her mouth with a little water in her canteen to get rid of the taste, before helping the poor stallion recover. She wasn't phased by the vomiting. Now his eyes were open he looked less ghost-like and more friendly - her final doubts about the stallion were dispelled by the kind eyes and manner.

"Glad you're feeling better, and it's fine - us ponies gotta stick together out here!" Fuchsia smiles back encouragingly. "I'm Fuchsia."  she speaks slowly and makes no sudden movements to reassure the weakened adventurer. "I was following a tip off from a friend and was exploring the area and stumbled upon your camp. Looks like who/whatever did this is long gone."

"You rest. Lemme know if you want me to get you anything. I can cook a mean can of beans." she smirks.

Windy was speechless. How dare Razor just suddenly pop his head out of the wall!

Razor, meanwhile nodded to Sorrow, he did not want to interrupt them but if he did not hurry, those who had pushed him to commit the crime on his wife are soon going to persecute the two oblivious mares.

Tepe, on the other hoof, looked as if he were about to get a ghostly heart attack as the sight of a griffon head on the wall like a taxidermy.

...

Soon, Bluff and Flinty went to Needle's privatee clinic, wearing nervous looks, wondering how the mare would react to their 'efforts'.

They knocked on the door quietly, wanting not to attract unwanted ears from the ponies passing by.

At this point, both Luna and Blue are too busy on the history book they are just given. Terrible wars, unbelievable genocide, beliefs, discrimation, hunger for territory are all recorded there and both of them would almost get sick, especially the invasion of a city called Nanking.

Lin watched as the last bits of paint covered her brother’s face. That, and a nice red nose to go along with the getup tied the whole piece together. Sen was a proper clown, minus the hair, but it wasn’t an issue. He didn’t have an idea what a clown’s look would need, and this was about as good as he could get for the evening. His sister wouldn’t mind too, now knowing what just what a pastel-colored clown was. She couldn’t hesitate dragging Sen to the nearest mirror before they both took in the sight.

“This is a pretty good job, making my brother look silly and all,” Lin turned to the booth’s owner and bowed before turning her sights back to Sen. “And you look a proper clown with that red nose. What would the folks back home say if they saw you like this?”

“They wouldn’t take me seriously ever again? Doesn’t matter. Aside from the few friends we have back home, I’d care more about what you, Omen, or Rosa think. And going by Rosa’s snickering, I’d say I look real silly right about now. Let it be said that I don’t back out of wagers once they’re set.”

Sen wouldn’t admit it loudly, but the clown look wasn’t so bad. It turned out pretty well, and with Omen honking his bright, red nose, he’d guess she was amused by that. And Rosa was really laughing it up, so that one didn’t leave much to the imagination. This evening would likely take a turn for the interesting, if only because of the odd looks Sen would be getting.

“Okay, okay, everyone. Laugh it up. So, where to next? We could go see a show, grab some more food, or explore a little more. I’m up for anything, really.”

"So I guess these will be our first victims." Ruby said half asking when she spotted the chimera, she wasn't really impressed by the species when she took one on the first time, and not only because it had hard time getting through her scales. Charir didn't seem to afraid either as he looked at the creatures under them, and he wasn't, he was just bit puzzled, as he had never seen hybrids like them before, and was wondering how such a mess even comes to existence, not to mention several of them.

If Leviathan gave a affirmative response, Ruby would head down, Charir would follow Leviathan.

Ruby's way of fighting would be more playing than fighting, as she messed around a bit rather than going straight for the kill, and who could really blame her for having fun, since realistically speaking the chimera was no real challenge to her, you don't survive over hundred years in the homelands and take on a dragon hunting giant worm just to lose to a creature like this.

Charir meanwhile played bit more safe, since to him these creatures were actually a threat, and went for more tactical approach, jumping on one of them's back and holding on, this way the only head he needed to worry about was the snake, and if he was thrown off, having his claws sank into the back of the creature, he would take few pieces with him. When not on the back of a chimera, he stayed behind them, attacking the back side any time there was an opening. This kind of bravery may seem odd considering how fearful Charir had been until now, but there was a difference between dragons and other creatures, dragons could kill him, everyone else was prey.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Nada smiled "It is, hope the water isn't too cold for you." she half-joked  "We'll follow the river a bit but our destination isn't next to it." she would then start leading the way, keeping a pace that Ziggy would be able to keep up with regardless of how she followed. If nothing happened or was said, the route would be like Nada said, following the river for a while and then heading on the land for the rest.
--------------------------------------------------------

Scarecrow mad a mental note that a colt seemed to be paying attention to him, he of course couldn't tell why it was and if it really was the case, but it was good to mentally prepare, and it was also to inform Crow to act natural...in this case maybe in bit more literal sense than what the world usually meant. He also took notice on the reactions of others but didn't react to it in any visible way other than giving a greeting nod to those who waved at him, he would have wanted to smile to those who smiled at him, but he had no idea how.

Lyriel wouldn't need to do much directing as Scarecrow would follow her as soon as she seemed like she wanted to move, this was outside his familiarity, so he let Lyriel to be in lead here.  He would break the silence, but spoke more quietly than he usually did "It's very noisy here." noise didn't necessarily bother him, but coming from the mostly quiet everfree, it was something he really noticed, and why he felt the need to say it out loud? he wasn't sure, he just felt weird for being quiet in such a noisy place.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Sheska looked at Onache with surprise when she first spoke, having not seen her yet, but as she answered the question that had been directed to Trox, Sheska turned back towards her brother, looking only more confused, but before any words were said, Trox shrugged which seemed to be enough for Sheska, who then noticed the fruits and took an apple and ate it whole, their fruits looked bit different having grown in darkness, but she still could tell this one was an apple. "Thank you." Trox thanked as he took the glass of water "And apologizes.. for what to you.. must sound like very stupid questions.. from us." "This...whole thing.. is bit confusing.. to us." Sheska joined in "A bit!?" "Last I remember... we were in... nightmare moon's... dungeon. How did we.. end up.. in a ancient looking.. hospital in...ponyville? where ever.. that is". as Sheska spoke, Trox took the time to drink and took another fruit "Please stay calm...Sheska, she.. doesn't know it either."

"Hehe- *clears throat* Yes, next. I would think that when a show is to start, we will be able to hear it, so I'd suggest that we take a break from our trials, and indulge ourselves with some of the local cuisine, whilst wandering around and exploring the sights."

While Rosa composed himself, Omen turned and looked at him with a tilted head. One of her more regular signs that she didn't know what were happening. Or in this case, what he were talking about, since Rosa were using big words again.

"...Right, sorry. We should eat, and have a look around."

That would make Omen correct her head again, and nod, before starting to sniff the air. She may be more specialized in the life energy of others, but a nose were a nose. She could still use it to find something that smelled interesting perhaps.

"Perhaps if we think of what sort of thing we'd like, it could help a little. The last time we had somewhat actual meals, and some snacks. I think we should try something different, but would you prefer snacks, or something resembling meals? I imagine Omen cares little, long as it is quite spicy, and I am not feeling particularly picky. Hence, the decision will come down to you two.

I can imagine Sen might want a pie with whipped cream though?"

Sen and Lin probably didn't get that, as they were not familiar with clowns, but he couldn't help having his fun a little now. Even if only himself, and maybe Omen at times, would get that.

As for the one who had painted them, he were already on to the next. This one wanting tiger stripes, and orange face paint. Never a dull night with nothing to do for him, at events such as this.

"My name is Billowing Smoke. Though most just calls me Smokey."

Smokey would give a slow, formal bow towards Fuchsia. Not perfectly, but in his current condition, it were what he could muster. He would endeavor t remedy this later on. Provided that she would remain in his vicinity for a prolonged period of time. He would hope so, as he'd like to show proper gratitude towards her, considering that she may well have saved his life.

"If you can help me get the fire stoked again, I will prepare some rations. I believe I have some beans left, among a few other things.

As for what did this. Urgh. Pesky little creature is in the temple. Had I been focused, it wouldn't have gotten me, but at least I managed to return to my camp. I shudder to think what would have happened, had I collapsed in there."

His speech were getting more fluent, so the strain on his being, seemed to rapidly vanish. It appeared as if Fuchsia had done an excellent job with the antidote. Though he'd still use his horn to withdraw some rations to use, rather then move physically right now. Something which would show off the peculiarity, that his magic had a smoke-like quality to it's aura, well befitting of his name. Nothing that would change it in any sort of way though. It were just a cosmetic curiosity.

As for the rations, there were indeed a tin of beans to be found. Gel Baron's Baked Beans, to be exact. It were nothing of the organic, super high end stuff, but among baked beans, it were of a better quality than one might think from a regular adventurer. Though one of those, likely wouldn't have a feather made in pure silver. It wasn't as if it were hidden that Smokey had some means to work with.

Beyond that, there'd be a package of pre-slized bread, a few mangos, and a jar of some sort of orange marmelade, that looked home made. The jar did at least.

There'd also be three soy sausages, a bundle of hay, and some roots and herbs, that were packaged up in a small baggie for themselves. These were meant for a stew, in case you wanted that.

There were also a thermos of something that wasn't marked, but likely wasn't water, as he had that in a canteen already. All in all, not a small pack, but most of it he wouldn't have on him when doing the actual adventure either. It were mostly for the camp, to prepare for longer trips. As for ways to cook things, there were a travel cauldron next to the fire. Small thing, but nice and compact, and not that heavy. Weren't all that cheap in his opinion, but you got what you paid for.

"Might I ask what brings you all the way out here, Madamme Fuchsia? Did you find yourself lost? Perhaps you saw the trail of smoke from my campfire? Or... Perhaps you are an adventurer too? I would be more than happy to share this one with you, if it is. I owe you that, and far more, for what you have done for me."

@Califorum

Magnolia would be able to get a unicorn, and two pegasi more, before she would eventually leave. Her actions were stirring up issues in town. Especially after one of them got out, and screamed that some monster had just taken their magic. Word started to go around after that, and a panic would spread. Something which caused most to rush out of their houses into the open street, ready to run away.

So she'd be able to get some magic to use, and some physical improvements. However, she would also find that much as she figured herself safe, she wouldn't be for long.

About thirty seconds after she had returned to the outskirts of town, she'd find that some glittering smoke were coming her way. It didn't hurt her at all, and weren't toxic, or even something you'd feel to the touch. It were just there. Hovering around her, like some sort of lazy fog.

What would be less lazy though, were what came shortly after, shooting through the layers of the forest. An arrow, seemingly made of pure magic, being shot towards the location where the haze had tracked her down to. Nothing that would kill her though. Zeehva were not a murderer after all. But if it did impact her, it'd unravel, and push her backwards, whilst wrapping her up in magical restraints. If she impacted a tree, she'd get wrapped tot hat. Though if not, she may just be wrapped to herself, wriggling on the floor. If it hit, that were. If not, it'd do this, to whatever else might have been there.

Zeehva wouldn't be far behind. The track had been a mess for a time, as the mare had wandered from house to house, but she had finally managed to get a proper trace on her, once Magnolia had gone out to rest. There were no telling what sort of enhancements she might have gotten now, after stealing the power out of those poor, unfortunate souls, but she'd just have to deal with it. At least she had managed to get a good deal of residual magic to use, and gotten a few concoctions ready already. Now it were just hoping that it'd be enough.

This hadn't looked like the sort TIrek had worked with fortunately. The earth pony at least, had looked drained, but she still sensed a small, lingering flicker of magic within him. So at least the poor targets of Magnolia wouldn't suffer forever, or until the magic were beaten out of of Magnolia. Likely. She hadn't dealt with this sort all that much, so she couldn't say for sure... B-But anyway, the point still stood, that she shouldn't get away with this. The town needed a hero to bring her to justice. Though sadly, they would just have her. Hopefully that would end up being enough.

"Y-You won't get away from me. Stop your uhm... Heinous acts."

Zeehva really didn't have the sort of gusto needed for a proper speech, but at least she tried. Though it had also caused a few villains to openly laugh into her face. Not the biggest boost of confidence, but at least it made them underestimate her. That tended to help.

"I've seen bigger and meaner, but these might be stragglers. Maybe we'll find the big ones after we rustle the bushes a little."

Leviathan would let Ruby have her own one in peace, since frankly, it shouldn't be too hard for the dragoness to deal with that one. So she'd go and team up on one with Charir, that seemed to have a fair enough idea of how to starting this.

The snake tail would indeed focus on him, and would bite out after him, whilst the beast prepared to shake off the little nuisance, and crush it underfoot. Though the main parts got distracted, when the tiger head would suddenly be encased in ice, and the ram one would get a fist hammered right into its forehead, before Leviathan grabbed hold of its horns. Not something that'd do a lot by itself, and honestly just annoy it. Until that were, she let out a solid stream of electricity. Quite a noise that came out from it after that, before it collapsed, smoking slightly from every pore and socket.

The two main heads seemed to be knocked out, but the snake head were still somewhat active, and would furiously opened wide, and aim for Charir. It were going to swallow this little pest whole, and then have vengeance upon this pitiful creature that had just fried it.

She could have killed it straight up here, but she wanted Charir to have the honors. Unless of course, he seemed like he were about to actually get eaten. In that case, she'd set this head on fire. Weren't anyone going to hurt her little friend like that.

Regarding the one that Ruby thought, it would rush towards her, and aim to have her taken into it's main jaws, before the snake head and claws would tear her scales off, and expose vital flesh. She may be bigger than it, but she were still prey to them, as they were the alpha predator here. At least, that is what they thought. A bold idea, yet not a smart one, considering what they were up against. Hopefully there'd be cleverer ones further inside this enclosure, or this would end up getting boring.

@Catpone Cerberus

"If the water feels cold, it just means I have to swim faster! Hehe."

Ziggy would dog paddle along, though not nearly at Nada's speed or grace. She were more of a flyer and runner, than a swimmer, even though she enjoyed swimming. Especially since it took more energy normally, and helped on building all sorts of muscles. When she had to live at the hospital for years on end, due to her previous condition, they tended to utilize the pool a lot to make sure she got her muscle exercises, as well as burning off a lot of her excess energy. Sure there were more things to do, but she remembered the pool as being a frequent, and rather pleasant part.

Nothing would happen on route, and as they went out of the water to move on, Ziggy would only halt some to shake the water off of her. Afterwards, she'd hum, and trot along, as they approached Nada's former stomping grounds. Which had improved significantly already.

A stream had been led in here, that wandered under the rocky walls, which meant that there were food, water, and an escape route for her. Trees had been planted and were flourishing around the are, along with healthy, green grass layered everywhere. Flowers were seen in said grass too, but the stage were something which took more of a center stage, as it were currently being risen out of the bedrock. The earth trembled and shook as the stone slabs rose up, and formed into making a scene to stand upon. An even surface, with walls and a roof over it, so she could be covered from bad weather. It might do well with some vegetation, but that was for Lyriel to deal with eventually. Not for the one that were currently there. That being Nerzhei, who had been focusing intensely on the task in front of her, with her free arm risen, and claws glowing. At least until she were done. At which point, the glow would go away, and she'd let out a sigh.

"Your timing is interesting. Did Lyriel send you, by chance?"

"Dragon snuggles!"

Nerzhei hadn't a chance to get away from the doctor, even if she had been at good health. Which she wasn't really. She were tired, felt ragged, and looked as if she could do with a week's sleep. And now, she had an oversized pony hugging her mid section. And since she did not try to push the doctor away, it appeared she knew it were pointless to try.

"This simply gets better and better... *sigh* The scene is done. Is it as it should be?"

"It's very noisy here."

"Ponies do seem to enjoy making noise, yes. Though I have heard more than this. The noise when they party, can be heard in the forest, and I have stumbled upon one residence, where this booming, frightfully loud noise came from. Equines have... Peculiar tastes. Though I don't mind the sound of voices. I find comfort is there being others to speak with. Be it animal, equine, or otherwise."

The last category included the two of them, as she really couldn't place Crow and Scarecrow in a simple definition, like most others. They were something of their own, and truly, she hadn't an issue with that. Even if she were still somewhat pertused by the feeling she had, when she got too close to Scarecrow. She were getting used to it though. It were merely a matter of adapting, and understanding that he were not her enemy, nor an enemy of the Earth Mother. Not far as she were aware, at least. And if he were, it were not his fault. He were not an evil creature, even if the magic that made him, may have roots in evil.

As for the colt before, Crow had showed off itself, by spreading its wings, and really bask in the attention. Nothing wrong with indulging in a little vanity, right? And the colt surely did look impressed, before his parents took him along.

"It seemed as if he could deal with this matter himself. Perhaps we should explore some? There is a farm on the edge of town, filled with apple trees. It is a more calming place than here, and I am a welcome sight there, for the family who runs the place. Perhaps we could go there, and you could see things more calmly? The main part of town can wait until another time."

=====================================================================

@Catpone Cerberus

"No, but I can find out."

She said this as the door began to creep open, and she turned to face the door. Through it, would wander a nurse. Seemed normal, without anything really special happening with her, beyond her mane and tail being seemingly several kinds of darkened colors, and a few tattoos being shown on some exposed skin. The collar seemed odd as well, but Onache knew not what Equestrian hospitals were supposed to look like. For all she knew, this were normal. Though even if it were not, it wouldn't matter. She would serve her purpose regardless of that.

"Oh, the patients are finally awake. Rad! Okay, just have to ask a few questions, and we can-"

Onache looked indifferent at the mare, as the nurses speech stopped, along with her movements. She seemed slightly confused too, and if Sheska and Trox paid attention, they could likely tell that Onache were at fault for this. The tip of her horn glowed, and she kept her indifferent gaze upon the nurse, who would suddenly seem to go out of her slight daze, and keep talking. Though, it seemed her response had changed.

"- go over what questions you had. The hospital can wait having theirs answered for a bit."

"They wish to know of Nightmare Moon."

"Not much to say. She were imprisoned in the moon a thousand or so years ago, then suddenly came back, had a big fight with Princess Celestia, and the element wearers, and then she got poofed back into her old, nice self. Far as I know, Nightmare Moon is completely gone. Just good old Princess Luna now, governing over the night time and out dreams. Never seen her in my dreams, but I hear she's a nice presence to run into. As are her dream wardens.

Anything else that our guests wants to know?"

"That, they will answer themselves."

"Okei-dokei. So, how can I help you, friends?"

Onache had not really taken over this ponys mind. She had merely altered her memories a little, and made her think that she had promised these two earlier on, that she'd ask any question they might have. It had never happened, but far as she knew, it had, and she wanted to fulfill her promise.

This were one of the thing that made Onache dangerous. Enticing another were one thing, but had she the lust and time, she could rewrite your entire mind, and make you think a lie had always been reality. It had been one way she ensured her *unwilling workers*, weren't complaining, or attempting rebellions. Why fear that, when she could make them think there were nothing more they had ever wanted, than to serve her unquestionably?

Of course, the alterations wouldn't last forever. Small ones like this, tended to, as it were a minor thing, and the brain rationalized with the memory that was followed up on, with the other seen as just an idea, more often than not, once the old memory resurfaced. More complex ones however, would have to be maintained, or it would falter, and the holes be too big for the other party not to notice.

Still, the way she did things, she did not always need permanent puppets. Temporary ones were fine too, depending on the situation.

Oh boy, this were going swell. Windy did not seem amused, Tepe appeared as if he were about to choke on something, and Legion were starting to stir. Soon after, they would have their wispy eyes flicker into existence and look up at Razor, though no words were spoken. He should know well who most of all parts of them wished to see him though. The one he betrayed, yet might still hold some fondness for him. A tormented soul who would likely need a lot of time to be able to find release, but that was never assured. Sometimes, a spirit were able to let go, much faster than you might think. Usually via some trigger, that caused them to learn to forgive, or accept.

"The deserts should be here soon. Could you please meet us outside? We'll be there soon."

Unless anything special happened there, they should be out soon, and could confront Razor a bit more specifically about what were going on. Though if not, they'd have to deal with things as they happened.

*sigh* Hopefully the desert were going to help distract them from this a little bit... Things were not sounding nice afterwards.

Yet when the two goons got into sight, it appeared that they did not carry their quarry with them. This did not please her, as it may mean that they had a potential leak out there now.

"Report in details. What did they find there? And more importantly, were he among the things salvaged? I am going to be displeased if you allowed the authorities to take him."

Displeased, with a scalpel in hoof. Bluff and Flinty would do best in not telling her they had done something like that, nor exposed who they were.

I am neither."

"Hehe. YOu do a lot of silly talk miss. There's lots of heroes, who stops the big bad meanies from doing real bad things that hurt others. Like Tirek. Biiiiiig meanie. And the princess booped his snooth right back to Tartarus! That's a hero thing."

Like she had said, Blitz were too young to grasp the concept that nothing were as black and white, as heroes versus villains. There were mostly just elements of grey, and even the most staunch heroes, often only did it, out of some sort of revenge, or for fame and glory. Though on rare occasions, you could find villains who were fully aware, and embraced, that they were evil, and just wanted to do horrible things, because it felt good. very rare though and those tended to be rather low rung. Big baddies tended to have some sort of layer to them.

"Heeey, Felicia's sentient too! She can't do magic, but she's totally sentient."

To prove the point, Felicia would use her right front leg, to write in the dirt something to this meddlesome individual. The words *You are a creature of limited possibility.*. A little rude perhaps, but in fairness, she were being insulted too. It were only fair.

"See? Told you. But she's much nicer than those you're met. They sound like a bunch of real mean things. Whoever made them, is a stupid head, for making bad robots, instead of making some that can make others happy. What's the point in technology, if it's only to hurt others? That's just mean."

Blitz would indeed bounce up on the bench eventually, after running a bit more in place. She likely wouldn't stay up there for too long though. Her mind were razing, and that usually meant her hooves would do the same, if possible.

Though she did get distracted by hearing tales of war suddenly going up. Strange places she had never heard about, and some sort of second world war? Wauh. Must've been a real big one.

"Why did the whole world fight twice? Everypony should be happy, and try to get along, right? Don't they do that where you're from? That's really sad."

She did get the intricacies of war, but she knew what it were. And it were all bad, far as she were concerned. Everypony should talk out their problems, not try and do unthinkable bad things to one another.

Regarding Blitz, I dunno how she does things sometimes. Her mind's full of wonder, to a point where she can't always keep up with it, and figure out a way to make all sorts of things work in ways you and I wouldn't have thought of. I know that one day she'll be in full control, and then she's gonna show the world a lot of wonders, but until then, she'll need her big bro to keep her from blowing herself up. Ain't got more family left than us now, so I ain't gonna let her go out like that.

Anyway, changeling throne, huh? I heard that were made outta stone, not some sort of metal. Did you transmute it via alchemy perhaps? Knew some folks who did that sort, but stone to metal wasn't something they tried. More focus on trying to make some metals into more difficult to find ones, so we could build something really sturdy, and interesting. Magically charged metal's a real pain in the flank to get access to.

Sorry to hear a hack worked on you too, mate. Fusing like that's a real bad thing to have happen, though at least you seem to be sane. Seen some other stuff tried to be merged, and sanity ain't often on the list after that's done with. Still ain't right though, and again, makes me think your *surgeon* were a two timing hack. Should've been done right. With implants, and proper wiring. Though you agreed to it, so I guess that's the more out there thing. Really sure that you're the best at judging others for being crazy?"

Molotov would grin at him at the end, after giving a little stinger. Sure sounded like they had found the real crazy one here, and it weren't hiim, nor Blitz this time.

The sight of the scalpel was enough to make the two goons shake in fear “Well, um... As you can see” Flinty stammered, “We couldn't find Sneaky everywhere, the suburb part of the town are just a bunch of debris and many of the residents had come to join the rescue efforts”

“Luckily, we happened to bump into one of our members, Shackle Sneer. We asked him to search for Sneaky by the beach” she turned back to Bluff “Hey Shackle, get your rear inside”

“Okay, okay, fine” entering the room is a masculine stallion, there was a large black bag on his back. Like Bluff and Flinty, he was nervous, he approached Needle, and laid the bag down “I'm afraid Sneaky was, in simple terms, killed” he opened the bag, revealing a body- no, a carcass of a griffon, the body had weathered away, yet the skin and bones is still there, empty eye sockets stared at Needle and Shackles “I found him buried in the beach”

...

Razor felt as if an invisible limb pushed him back when Sorrow asked him to meet them outside, but he agreed regardless. He moved through the window, starting at the trio until he was out of the restaurant.

Windy had already calmed down, in addition to Tepe not getting a heart attack since he did not have a working heart. The zebra looked at the mares and spoke “That griffon had a bad humor”

“Thank goodness the war ended before anymore damage could be done” Luna spoke. Having becoming disgusted by the wars, she and Blue stopped reading the book which was now flying in the air in the grasp of Luna's magic

"No more the rumors and whispers one reads in the Newspaper and tabloids.  The Solar Guard are rather tight lipped on the subject," Minty scoffed.  Her charm worked most places, but even she could agree it was outside her jurisdiction not being in Manehatten.  "When they're doing beating their heads against a wall we'll be brought in to look for anything magical in nature they might have missed," Tussle added.  "If it's outside Manehatten, we can only help if our aid is requested.  Being the new agency that we are, few know about us or believe we have any value yet," Starbright explained.  Manehatten PD knew their value all too well, but the other towns and cities of Equestria weren't as up to date.  Red Tape and all that made things complicated.  Plus centuries of law enforcement pride was slow to turn as issues of magic continues to grow.

"Our interactions?" Starbright inquired.  It was difficult to think outside themselves sometimes.  Their interactions with each other appeared as normal as ever.  It didn't help that their boss as an eccentric theater pony and laid little law as long as she was getting attention.  Unless Manehatten was in danger, it was rare to see the side of Minty that one would expect from a law enforcement captain.  She was a hooffull and but they all loved her.  Somedays she was more a mascot or cheerleader than a captain.  The city Buck Ball games between law enforcement agencies got... intense.  Bash nodded with an affirming grunt to finally answer Magma.  This was common.

Lagging a little behind the conversation, Flare spoke up, "The Underground Queen might know more about Center Zero."  "She does have her hoofs in everything."  "She'd tell me."  "Not if it amused her keeping you in the dark."  "Fact..."

Thistle's mention of the possibility of teleporting into an object or into a wrong location was interesting.   Twisted's stunting of magic or her own departure from modern times spoke of a vast different in teleportation magics between Equestria and Harrowmark.  Just as how Minty teleported outside the town rather than right on top of Rising's cutie mark.  The commonly used spell allows for assessment of the area before displacing in.  Even with Minty's unstable magic her aim is good, although the landing is on the rough side.  Princess Twilight could just as easily teleport into a throne room, or inn, outside the city in the company of Thistle and her group for announcement.  The only pony he knew with a more complicated and advanced teleportation spell was his sister.

"Very well.  Then with me as a foci create the portal in my location.  If it's close enough I may be able to guide it closer," Rising offered.  It can't be helped and as long as he could control at least the location of the portal, it would be a safer method.  Getting Dawn involved would make the portal process easier.  "Safe travels my friend," he expressed and pulled the one string of the knot he created to make this call until the spell sprang back into it's original form.  Hopefully not making this Brighteye too dizzy until the springing stopped.

"And to think the other week I was chasing purse snatchers," the detective exhaled.

Charir didn't have too much trouble with the snake, especially after the two other heads were out, as he no longer needed to focus on staying on as much, and he took it down with single well placed and slightly electrical swing, the electricity wasn't on purpose, but some of the electricity from Leviathan's attack had gone through the creature's body and gotten absorbed by him and was released through his claws when he hit the snake. He may have been a kid, but he wasn't totally helpless, if he would have been, he wouldn't have survived even until now. After the snake head was down, he poked at it curiously as he had never seen a snake before.

The ram head and the snake head were no danger to Ruby, the ram head...well, it was a ram, and the snake couldn't penetrate her scales, so she ignored them, and while the main head technically could harm her, it would need to reach her first, which didn't happen, since the moment the chimera charged at her, she kinda just redirected it to go past her, only to slit the main head's throat with her back leg's claw, before breaking the necks of all 3 heads with ease, she looked unimpressed "That was just sad, can't even play with them without them dying." .
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nada seemed, and was surprised to see Nerzhei there, but before she could comment on it, something less surprising happened, that being Ziggy's hug attack on the poor dragon "Hi Nerzhei, it's better than it has ever been, thanks." "And no, Lyriel didn't send me, I haven't seen her, I came here on my own accord, kinda." she looked around as she spoke, memories flowing in her head "I got a letter that the getting back into civilization thing has to wait for a while so I figured I could settle down here  until then." "Oh, and this is Ziggy in case you didn't know." she didn't remember who knew who so she figured it to be best to introduce her just in case. "She likes hugs, you'll get used to it."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I don't see why not, it won't do any harm, and I need to get used to...well, this." Scarecrow meant the situation as a whole, his disguise, the attention, the life around him, he didn't dislike any of it by any means, but it was definitely weird after the undetermined years he had spend in the darkness alone. "Lead the way, the town can indeed wait, at least until I have more experience with this look." he mostly wanted to avoid the risk of getting too much attention from the more talkative ponies, since his lack of knowledge on things would certainly raise some questions if his lacking facial control didn't do it first.

Since the colt had left the area, he didn't worry about him any longer.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The siblings gave each other a slightly concerned look when Onache did her thing, mind altering, usually not a good sign, but they let it go for now, since clearly this was not the place where they came from. The nurse's answer caused the siblings to again share a look, this time one of question, more answers they got, more confusing the whole thing was, but Trox didn't want to let the chance go, even if the way of getting it was...questionable, "I'm not sure.. if you can.. really answer.. our most pressing.. questions, but..I'll ask this." "Do you.. know anyone.. who knows what.. we are... or someone to whom.. the Night-Realm... or the Solar Empire... rings a bell..?" "Or someone... who knows how... we ended up... where....or when ever.. this is.". Ancient hospitals, non-existent towns, Nightmare Moon apparently not existing, things that didn't happen, there was only so many options of what could have happened to them,  the first thought was a dream, but why would Nightmare Moon create a dream where something else is better than her realm? And they wouldn't be able to come up with all this. Sheska also considered if this was the afterlife, but quickly shut that idea down as that was ridiculous, so that left only 2 possibilities, they were either in different place, or different time.

Meanwhile a pony from the royal guard entered the hospital, a silver-brown pegasus with mane of shades of blue, nothing too special, expect that was the only normal thing about him, this pegasus had a horn made of golden metal and some kind of orange slightly glowing material, his tail, one wing, and about half of his body in general was covered with the same metal and same orange glowing spots (I know it looks red in the picture, blame scanner), even his eyes looked unnatural, not biological. He asked for the two bipedal lizards that had been brought in earlier.

Fuchsia blushes at the formal bow. She thinks a little and tries a crude 'little filly' style curtsey to receive the bow - she had not been brought up around gentle-colts, but - like many country-folk - has been brought up not to ignore politeness when she sees it.

"Not a problem Billowing." with all the formality she almost calls him Mr Smoke, as she had become used to with her former employer and friend, 'Mr Phantom'. She stokes the fire and helps him with the rations. She shoos him back down when he tries to prepare rations,  "You rest." she says firmly, unconsciously imitating her mother Roseberry, who would say the same to her when she was ill :P

When she was sick on the road, a not infrequent occurrence for a traveller, she would make a vege stew. So she took some preserved roots and herbs from her own pack and mixed them with Billowing's supply and chucked in some of the fancy sausages. She was making a stew :3 A vege sausage and herb stew to be exact. She pokes her tongue out to add salt and pepper and then ladles some out, blows on it and gives it a lil taste to be sure... and then adds more roots, herbs and salt. Eventually she seems satisfied.

While she was doing this she generally talked and answered his questions.

She involuntarily scowls when he suggest she might be lost. "Uh. No!" she says, but the scowl melts almost as soon as it appears, her mood as changeable as her locale :P

"I am an adventurer like you, but - uh - not as experienced as you." she explains that she looked through Billowings things, back when she thought he might be hostile, and found his maps and seal etc. "I was tipped off by a friend about ancient monuments in the area. I'd be honoured to travel with you!" she says sincerely, greatly flattered and rather relieved by the prospect of a companion, especially in light of the sudden revelation that the ruins were dangerous. The culture she had been following was a mystery to her... her tip had indicated that nopony had visited here due to an unspecified danger and she had been having nightmares about ending up eaten for the past few days travelling through the jungle.

When the stew is done she pours it out from his travel cauldron and into a little coconut bowl that she removes from her pack and gives to him. It is a bit rough, but the quality of his own ingredients should help it be a decent hydrating sort of meal :)

“Pie sounds good. I’d like to try something other than an apple pie though.”

“The Apple Family’s pie is already delicious. I doubt anything could top that. You know, maybe if we do run into something made with zap apples, I think that’ll be better. Ponies already talk about how delicious and sought-after a jar of zap apples is, might as well see if someone has that.”

The siblings were on to something, though they didn’t realize that zap apples only grow on during a certain time of year and under some strict conditions. No one in the Apple Family would disclose that kind of information, and knowing just how much ponies wanted that kind of taste on some of their food, the price of one jar could have a much higher markup, especially when it’s resold by someone else.

They’d be lucky if they ran into someone selling anything made with zap apples, but neither Sen nor Lin would mind if they’ll miss out. Going by how unfamiliar they are with foods commonly found outside of their forest home, they’ll take the chance to try anything that looked interesting. Mildly spicy things would also count, which could be serve as a much better introduction to foods that give off some kick and heat once it touches their taste buds.
