I actually represent myself with Sunset Shimmer, as I see her being one of the best developed characters.

She is a fun character. EG made her main plot very short. I personally liked what she did in Rainbow Rocks even if she wasn't a villain.

 

Question though: Rainbow Rocks made it seem like sunset shimmer was going to be a 7th element of harmony towards the end. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Or think it is false or true? If it is true then what would her element be?

Wll there are a few vids on youtube but to summarise most of them  --> Sunset would be the element of forgiveness and will replace twilight's role in the human role until something happens with human twilight, on the other hand we have no idea what happened with the human (original) sunny. Still overall we have abosolutly no idea what they're plan for sunny is, lets hope for the best.

Well i would go to kidnapping, mind you the characters in the human world are similar to the ones in equestria but at human levels... She would probably be a bully or jealous or just your normal person. We don't know as stuff could be complicated. In the pony world both were princess celestia's pupils but in the EQ universe neither odf them seem to be attending Canterlot high. We don't even know if the "real" human Sunny has any connection to human twilight whatsoever therefore talking about her possible character is pretty much difficult as neither Twilight nor Sunset would have had their "celestial experience" Sunset might've never left her teacher becuz he/she didn't.... share the forumula of math power or something   and twilight wouldn't have been "exposed to friendship. While it is easy to get an idea of human Twilight's character ( twilight before ponyville-->start of series) it is very difficult to guess sunnny's. We have no idea about how she was like BEFORE she left Celestia... She might be nice...or a bully..but i prefer the nice idea

That is true that it is too difficult to tell. Know too little about her past. Too many unanswered questions. Too many angles they can take it. It is so exciting.

It depends how canonical you consider the comics to be. There was a comic called The Fall of Sunset Shimmer that showed Sunny at Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns.

 

She came across, like Twilight was initially, as being more concerned with studying magic than making friends. Unlike Twilight though, she was also arrogant and boastful. When a glance in Celestia's magic mirror showed Sunset Shimmer her future self as an alicorn princess, she became increasingly curious about the mirror, and her sense of entitlement started to get out of control. She believed she was destined to eclipse Celestia as the most powerful pony, and that Celestia was holding her back out of jealousy. Celestia banished her from Canterlot, and Sunset Shimmer escaped through the mirror to the human world.

 

I wonder if that's why Celestia never mentioned the mirror to Twilight until after she had already become an alicorn princess?

Search for "The Fall of Sunset Shimmer" on Google Images. There's eight pages altogether; you should be able to find most of it that way. They contain a very cute cameo from Shining Armor, Cadence, and filly Twilight Sparkle.

Just wanted to say a huge well done again everypony for helping Sunset's rise to the top of her division! There is still a long way to go and she faces some stiff competition in Spitfire and Celestia, but hopefully we can keep her grooving. <3

I only just noticed Lotus' presence in the competition. I saw Fluttershy and voted for her instantly, I thought it was strange that only one of the twins was chosen.
