I also, recently heard or read a theory that the reason we see Sunset Shimmer's tears right before she transforms into the She Demon is because,

she's realizing she made a mistake & there's no turning back.

I personally think this is giving Celestia too much credit. We've recently seen she's very human in regards to insecurities. If she knows everything will play out..she wouldn't be unsure of any move she made.

I keep forgetting about that scene in "Celestial Advice" so,

I just keep picturing her as somepony who would know exactly what was going to happen at all times in regards to her subjets &

students like Sunset Shimmer.

She could tell because of how Sunset was behaving--it also helped that the librarian ran off to inform her--as depicted in "The Fall of Sunset Shimmer", but she kept the pain to herself due to how it reminded her of what she had to do to Luna a thousand years prior.

Princess Celestia didn't want to relive the pain of losing Princess Luna so, she turned a blind eye to Sunset Shimmer's behavior. 

I know I basically just parroted what you said but, I didn't know how else to say it.

When the first special airs in Poland, we have at least two months of waiting before an English version is released. Still, you have to wonder why Poland is getting the first one now all of a sudden.

"Woah, it only takes them seven to eight weeks after they finish making the episode before it airs on televison?!"
