Killian Jones 2,655 March 29, 2012 Share March 29, 2012 So I was talking to Viscra and the Skype group, and the idea is brilliant. We hold a weekly Movie Night on the Synchtube or something. (In fact I would suggest two, one for the Europeans and one for the Americans at least). The point is to get many ponies on this forum excited about watching and discussing the movies together. One of the fun ideas I would think is have a certain pony pick out the movies for the movie night and change that pony each week. We already have a dedicated MLPForums Synchtube, which is currently moderated by Apple Bloom and Tom the Diamond (Whatever your name is now ) for the weekly SynchTube parties before the new episodes each week. I could also stream some movies America is about 6 hours after us here in Sweden, if you started a movie night like 10:00 PM your time (4:00 AM our time) I wouldn't mind. I'd still watch it. I'd still watch it. While I'd like it to be together. 4:00 AM for most people is simply not an option. That's way the middle of the night. Similarly, trying to host it for Europeans decently at 10:00 PM means it'll be insanely early for Americans, especially West Coast. I remember that Apple Bloom (one of the mods) said that maybe the official mlp forums synchtube room could be used for streaming a movie. I would be ok with something like this. I'm with LRP though, it would be cool to show animated movies. (I would totally be down to watch stuff like The Emperor's New Groove with fellow mlp forum members.)
