Personality: He is loyal and protective of humans, but prefers his own path. Does not agree with the mindless war going on.

Abilities: Flight, psychic powers, limited physical combat. (Can wield a sword and shield but not to the point of my other character) Relies on his moves to defend and attack.

History: He is the legendary Latios, a defender and the ones he is to defend, humans are now at war with Pokemon. He has been looking for is sister, the Latias gijinka, with no luck. After being searched for by representatives from both sides, he has been given a choice, human or Pokemon. Up to now, he spent everyday training, strengthening his powers and his skills, to defend humanity. But his main goal is to stop the war, by any means necessary.

If we can have two characters, I actually came up with one while at work that would fit well with Ai (after a bit of tweaking the back story.) and the war.

I've been working since about 3, and just got home maybe half an hour ago, sorry I'm posting so late guys.

Here is what I came up with. The main bulk of her backstory is the same, but I have two ending scenarios that would change her character in the rp.

 

Name: Kirara (Kira for short)(Espeon)

 

Faction: Neutral/Captive (Scenario One), Viral (Scenario Two)

 

Appearance: 

 

Age: 18

 

Special abilities: Just like most Psychic types, she has ability to use telekinesis, a trait her and her sister share. Unlike Ai, she is able to lift moderately heavy objects at a faster speed. Also, through years of her sister tormenting her and Kirara not being able to do anything about it, she had found a charm that allows her to use psychic-type moves on dark types, which she keeps on her possession at all times.

 

Personality: To say the very least, she is prim and proper to a "T". She had never taken to the mischievous activities her sister had, instead, she studies. She is intelligent, an over-achiever, and somewhat stubborn if someone tries to correct her or point out she is wrong about something.

 

Backstory: Just like her twin sister Ai, she is almost a decade older than her other siblings. She was the prime example of a student, acing every class and exams with one hundred percent. Most of her free time would be studying and reading books, occasionally taking some time to play with her brothers and sisters. Upon returning home one day with Ai, they had found their parents in a stasis. As her sister panicked and called the emergency line, Kirara went and checked on their parents, finding that they had pulses and were still breathing. Using her psychic power, she tried to see what had caused this to happen, but was immediately stopped by a wall of psyche that pushed her away. As she went to go and talk with Ai in the living room, the television channel had changed into a message from Ribose. As days passed, they were getting low on food, so she had stayed back at the house to watch her little siblings as Ai had gone out for food. An hour had gone by and there was a knock at the door. Thinking it was Ai and she had locked herself out, she went over to the door and opened it. As soon as the door barely opened, a group of gjinka burst in and grabbed her, covering her mouth. She tried to resist, but she was easily over-powered. The group that had busted in soon had them all bound and gagged and was about to take them when Ai had run in. Kirara tried to tell her to run, but couldn't with the rag in her mouth. She watched as the "liberators" knocked Ai out and left her lying on the floor as they had begun to carry them outside and put them into a vehicle. After they had all been thrown into the vehicle, the assailants had gotten in and began to drive off. She tried to get out of the restraints and flailed around as much as possible, knocking into the assailants closest to her. Angered, the assailants had then cursed and then knocked Kirara out to get her to settle down.

 

(Scenario One) After being knocking Kirara out, the assailants had driven a ways out and had gone into a Ribose base. Stopping outside of an old jail, the assailants began to carry the children and Kirara into the jail and placing them into cells, one staying off to the side, collecting money from an unknown figure.

 

(Scenario Two) Agreeing that the girl was only going to continue to resist when she woke up and that they wouldn't get much coin for her, they dumped her onto the side of the road nearby to a Viral faction camp and left with the rest of the children. Some time passed and Viral, sensing a presence, had gone out and investigated. Finding her, he probed her mind, and to his delight, found a large sense of intelligence. With that, Viral had put up a block in her mind, so that when she came to, she would have her thought process and basic knowledge of herself such as name and age, but she wouldn't remember any of her own personal memories such as her family. The only downside to this though, which Viral wouldn't mind, is that it left her mostly emotionless, where she would only show slight forms of emotions such as happiness and sorrow. Now that he had virtually full control over her, Viral had placed her as his personal assistant and advisor.

 

 

 

 

How's this? Yay? Nay? Which scenario would you prefer and if you would like to tweak anything, let me know.

Sorry to nitpick, but your grammar is kind of atrocious. It's like the RP is moving like a smooth car ride for most posts, but then when they get to yours, it suddenly feels like you're driving over the most pothole-ridden road in the world. Think you could slow down your posts and give them a proofread before posting? Thanks.

Age: 25

 

Abilities: He has the power to go nearly translucent and is virtually impossible to see in the dark. He has no discernible offensive prowess, but uses his excellent vision in the dark to take out enemies.

 

Rank: Staff Sergeant, Spec Ops

 

Personality: Almost entirely a loner due to being diagnosed clinically insane. He has trouble following orders or commands from others, but tries to put that aside because of his hatred of humans. He is not one to upset or slight as he keeps long and heavy grudges against those who do.

 

History: He was born into a lower class family, the middle child of three, living in the Bronx, New York. Growing up he never made any connections with others as his appearance and personality drove people away. His only "friends" are the two voices in his head that correspond to an angel and a devil on each shoulder. However, because of his twisted morality the advice of the angel usually entails more entertaining ways of enacting the advice of the devil. He was a problem child as he was perpetually in trouble for altercations with other students in school as he reacted to even a whisper about him. At 16 he was admitted into the state mental hospital after mortally wounding a classmate he thought had said something, but really it was his mind playing tricks on him. He was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and sociopathy and left to rot until Ribose's rebellion began. He was freed and happily joined Ribose's cause. He joined not because of the ideals of the movement, but for his own personal vendetta against the humans who left him to rot.

Honestly, I don't know why we have so many spies. Whatever. It sounds alright to me, other than the fact that we have a ton of spies as it is. We need more warriors and archers or just support characters.

I understand, but I couldn't think of any other position that would fit ghost type really well, I'm definitely willing to change I just can't think of a position for him.

 

EDIT: Does Special Ops sound better?

Well don't feel the need to change for me, I'd honestly hate to make someone change to fit my vision of the RP when it's something we all make together. I'm just saying it feels like this is more of a war where the soldiers are all red shirts and the battles would end up looking like something out of Dynasty/Hyrule Warriors, where all the warriors other than the PCs are going to be flailing ineffectually at each other until the players start destroying with combo moves and such.

Hmm well I didn't realize there was as many spies as there were so it doesn't make sense for another. I don't know if you saw the edit but possibly special ops, in the sense that they go in first before the big battle occurs?

That actually works really well with the plan that my Ribose character laid out, luckily enough. See, William (a Cacturne strategist for Ribose) is forming a plan to take over a Viral headquarters in Europe (I was thinking somewhere in Belgium, but that can be changed later) that would be with special forces raiding the building, taking it over, and taking the intelligence for troop movements and supply lines from the building before torching the place and leaving, while Ribose would head a raid on St. Petersburg to draw away Viral's attention and the attention of most of his standard forces in the area, and by the time the regular infantry would arrive to the HQ, it would already be burning, which can be done even better now that we have a ghost Spec Ops who could theoretically have Wil-O-Wisp.

Chances are, based on the post you put in there, you'll likely be accepted. The acceptance thing is generally just to make sure your character isn't too blatantly overpowered or mary-sueish.

BTW, Suitaloo, as for the abundance of spies, it seems to be due to the large amount of dark and poison pokemon, all of which fit the shadowy skulker very well. I will probably make a brute at some point, but I shall not as of now. Also, once Astaroth and Noda finish, take note that Viral, being the tricky little bastard he is, is going to basically glass an entire section of land next to Ribose's border to draw her out

Fair enough. I suppose that makes sense. Dark and poison types are generally the coolest-designed though IMO.
