Ah..yes...

I'm sure someone here is a fan of a cult classic such as,

Death Race 2000 (My second favorite movie!)

Dune

Buckaroo Banzai (I don't want to write the full title...It's so long)

Barbarella

The Abominable Dr.Phibes

2001: a space odyssey...

so on and so forth! So all ya pony-lovers let's talk up a storm about all those wacky classics!

(While I'm at it, should Death race be a comic...that would be cool!)

yes it does!

Ah...I remember that movie...it was strange! I think it may have had a bit of influence on Terminator...interestingly enough George Lucas was inspired by Phantom of the Paradise (Darth Vader) and Doctor Who and the Daleks (The 1965 movie) because a Dalek was named Moff (as in grand Tarkin)  and Peter Cushing starred in The Daleks and was grand Moff Tarkin in in Star Wars.

A guilty pleasure of mine is a low-budget film called Battle Beyond The Stars. It was basically a science-fiction remake of the classic western film The Magnificent Seven, made all the more blatant by the fact that it starred Robert Vaughn playing essentially the same character he did in Magnificent Seven.

probably one of the most acclaimed "cult hit" sci fi movies ever. And I certainly love it. The cyberpunk art style and darker feel to it was just amazing.

And we have a more recent one, Moon. I really encourage scifi fans to see this one, if they haven't already.

Are we talking strictly movies or just sci-fi in general? Cuz I know a few webcomics that are massively popular among certain groups (that's what makes it a cult classic, right?) and are probably among my favorite webcomics and stories of all time having read a few hundred at least.

I really like Forbidden Planet. IDK why it's just a good movie to me.
