Naturally, there will be hundreds if not thousands of citizens from every Equestrian city attending. All the princesses, including Twilight and the rest of the Mane Six, are gathering there as well. To get there, you have to go through a portal like the one from Equestria Girls. But again, you retain your human form when you go through.Unexpectedly, your pet pony decides to run after you a few minutes later. It also retains its pony form when it goes through, and no one notices it until it causes quite a ruckus. Everyone in Canterlot will witness this pony as it neighs repeatedly at every equine it sees, running around aimlessly, eating their food, crapping all over the place, and possibly even looking to steal a mate. Skip if you know this Pony/horse size is measured at the withers, which is defined as "across the front shoulders at the point of the last hair of the mane". Why? Possibly, it is easier to get the horse to hold it's shoulders still than to get it to hold it's head still. If that ain't it, IDK. Horse size is measured in hands (1 hand = 1 decimeter = 4 inches). A pony is a horse under the arbitrary size limit of 14 hands. The smallest breed is Shetland ponies, 7-11 hands Okay Trying to use Octavia & her Cello to measure pony sizes, I found out that there are oversize cellos (rare on Earth) smaller size Cellos & the bottom peg is adjustable. Best I can do is "about the size of a Shetland pony" Going back to G1, Megan & the G1 ponies, that is about their size, as well. So, an Earth pony would probably be larger than an EQ pony & possibly larger than Princess C. Since they often don't wear clothes, that wouldn't be a problem. The BIG question is "Can it talk?" Yes, it would probably have that capacity, but would it be able to?, would it gain greater intelligence or remain an idiot? I think if it could talk, they would try to talk to it. If was just an out of control giant idiot, they would try to control it without harming it more than need be. Is Fluttershy handy? A real good question. If it gained human intelligence & knew it would lose that if it returned home with you, would it ? (anybody else read "Flowers For Algernon"?) A fascinating question. If it stayed in EQ, what would you tell your parents happened to your pony? Assuming you wanted to be believed, the truth is probably Not An Option. Neat speculation on Fluttershy though. I'm not sure myself if she'd see the pony for what it really is and treat it like her other animals. No questions asked. I'd like to imagine ponies here compared to the sentient equestrian ones are similarly to what Orangutans / gorillas / chimps compared to humans, you know? Like, similar in structure and yet different. I mean, a little idiot running around & acting up would probably be annoying, but not too threatening. A giant idiot behaving the same way would probably cause a great deal more panic because it would be scarier. Also, the Pony From Earth wouldn't have a cutie mark (would it? You are specifying no change) & that would strike them as Major Weird. Plus, PFE would be similar enough that they would recognize it as equine but not identical to EQ ponies Ever see a real old movie called "Mighty Joe Young"? Princess C would probably guess where it came from (Twilight as well & maybe the other mane ponies). You got some 'splaining to do. I'd make you clean up the pony poop, but that's just me.
