When did you know you had feelings for Diamond?

She'd probably tell it differently, but on the first day I saw her, I screamed down three bullies for her. I wish I could say it was me, but those bullies had been picking on me for days; she gave me the courage to stand up to them.

 

It wasn't until I I ended up walking her home that day, though, that I realized how I felt. We talked to each other, and we had so much common, I just felt... connected. More than I ever had anypony. More than my own parents.
