Trying to process the news that Cartoon Network is ending:sunny:

10 minutes ago I was looking up this story and it sounds more like a building closure.

I just finished reading Middlewest (The complete series version. Has all 18 graphic novels combined into one). It was really good and sad. I’m probably going to meditate, play story of seasons trio of towns for a little bit and then find something else to read.

I was typing up a response on another thread. :P

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Watching a video on "Anglish", which is basically taking English and removing any words that aren't of Anglo-Saxon/Germanic origin. It was pretty interesting just because it makes you realize how many French and Latin words we borrow and use without even realizing it.

Making tea.

Er, maybe I should mention this is making actual tea (the drink), not the northern England adoption of the phrase, to mean preparing an evening meal (aka, dinner). Seriously who'd think it'd be this complicated ... :D

  • 2 weeks later...

Finished doing a test assemble of the new bicycle carrier, just to see how everything fits, and yes I'd managed to memorize the instructions PDF! :D  Couple of minor issues, the mounting block has 5 tapped holes but then filled with paint or powder-coat when it was painted, but was able to run them through with thread taps. Plus, the ends of the main tubes had burred edges (been sawn and not cleaned up), so dressed back with emery cloth. Proper job.

Reading the DCS weekly newsletter. They announced the development of one of my most wanted full fidelity aircraft (F-104, classic NATO cold war interceptor) so I'm very excited. Even if it's going to take 2+ years for it to be developed :please:
