general media Favourite incidental music?

Couldn't find any other thread on here like this one; sorry if I've missed it somehow! 

 

So yeah, what would you say is your favourite background music from anything you've ever heard? (Film, anime, video game, whatever it's from)  

I love the background music from the episode 'The Show Stoppers' for some reason (I blame Sprakle) probably just for how upbeat it manages to be. Kinda catchy, too...

 

 

The incidental music for Doctor Who: The Five Doctors is my other favourite, mainly down to familiarity and nostalgia (I've watched the episode more times than I should do... ) I also loved how ominous it could be at times, which just really fitted in with the story as a whole.

This topic deserves a reply! I had seen it before but forgot to respond, so here:

 

One Piece (the original, not the 4Kids version) has amazing background music. It enhances the emotion of the happenings in the series, just like it should. There are some really beautiful tracks that you hardly ever hear in the anime, like this one:

 

 

Also, I've always loved Ouran High School Host Club's background music... But I do love everything about that series. xD

Oh I always enjoyed the background music in the video game Lux Pain. It went with the situations so well and honestly is one of my favorite games. My favorite background music is Noir

I REALLY enjoyed the soundtrack to Bioshock Infinite.

The best Death Note character deserves the best theme/background music, plus listening to it makes me want to actually get things done.

I'm not sure what the music is called, but I LOVE the Matt Smith "Doctor takes command" music.

 

I just found it. It's simply called "I Am the Doctor" It has a majesty suited for Gallifrey's last son.

"Ouran High School Host Club" is one of my all time favorite anime. Very good choice for musical score.

I don't really have a favorite one but if I could really appreciate soundtrack for what type of media it's featured in, I'd say Steven Universe. The show's really adorable, funny, and engaging. The chiptune and digital bell themes it uses really set up a fantastic whimsical mood.
