planning Ace Attorney with Ponies

A combination of My Little Pony and Ace Attorney. Somepony's been murdered, somepony's been accused for it, somepony will defend them, eccentric witnesses will lie, each fact seems to change everything, and everypony will be shouting 'OBJECTION!'

 

The intended way for how this RP will work is that will only come up with the very basics of the case at first, such as where the murder occurred and what the crime scene looks like, and nothing else. We will intentionally avoid coming up with who the murderer is and how the murder takes place. Instead, we will come up with these things during the RP. Therefore, throughout the RP, we can come up with as many plot twists as we want, and we can end up with anyone being the murderer in the end. Anyone who joins will pick a certain role for their character(s). Between the members participating in this RP, we will have characters fulfilling roles from defense attorney to prosecutor to judge to witness to defendant. And probably much more. By the way, there can be more than one character for each role. The Ace Attorney games often has multiple people standing behind the defense's bench. We can easily have multiple people at the defense's or prosecutor's bench in this RP too!

 

As for what the case will actually be about, that's what this thread is for. We'll all be planning it together!

 

This RP was created because a previous RP was going poorly, and some members wanted to create a different RP in the same style. The previous RP can be found here. However, we intend to create an entirely new case for this RP, so checking the previous RP is not necessary. The only potential similarity is some of the characters, but those will also be listed here anyway. This RP is intended to work as any other new RP which any interested members may join.

 

I will enter this RP with two OCs: Shadowhide as a detective, and Aero Wind as a witness.

I think I'll be a prosecutor this time around, though I'll need to create a new OC to fill the role, as out of my current ones, I have 3 that are kind-hearted, 1 that acts insane in order to not be held responsible with his lifestyle, 1 that's basically krieg from BL2, and 2 that are borderline [insert word that means slow but wont offend anyone].

Alrighty I have made my OC, but with a twist!

 

I will be using Head Strong, my completely brand new placeholder OC, or PC, as I shall denote him.

Backstory:

 

 

His father, Swift Justice, was one of the best Prosecuting attorneys in Canterlot, with a guilty verdict at nearly every trial. Every night, Swift would come home and tell Head Strong all about his day, and over the course of a few years, Head Strong wanted to follow in his father's footsteps to a greater extent. His dream was to become one of Equestria's top Prosecuting attorney. So far, Head Strong has done well in following his dream, getting a guilty verdict in all of his previous trials. Some say he forges evidence to be able to have such a strong record, but they're usually just rumors.
