Rarity is certainly fabulous, but this is not in doubt.  Luna, on the other hand, must live on in the darkness of night when no pony sees her.  She perpetually lives in her sister's shadow, and yet remains elegant all the same.  Rarity is manifestly pretty, but Luna's beauty is understated.  She is cute not because she tries, but simply because she is.

I'm actually shocked that we haven't persuaded any Rarity fans to vote for Luna do to all the sexy Luna fan art we've posted.

I know deep down in their hearts they know Luna is wickedly attractive.

Even if Rarity does indeed win this poll, my opinion shall not change.

Luna will always be a hot smokin alicorn.

Honestly, if I was truly voting for most beautiful pony then Aloe and/or Lotus would be first among the list, but Luna indeed qualifies.

 

It is what it is; both ponies are beautiful, but we as individuals have different things that catch our eyes, and in that sense, Luna wins out over Rarity, but I will not deny that Rarity has her charms.

She's cool but I just don't see it in her. 

 

She avoids dirt unless her sister is pretty much threatening to disown her. At which point she buries herself in mud in order to run a race with her which was a selfless thing of her to do...but come on...it shouldn't take you til that point to get a little dirty.

 

And, I mean....if you're gonna get in an argument with your sister, why not go all out and try to take over the world with eternal night?
