What's done was done. The ponies of Stable 40 now lied in a tomb of their own making. They had no purpose in the world, and help high the philosophy that the old world may be restored. Heresy by any other name. Especially in the beliefs of the White Poison. Blooddrop had burned the stable, staining the wall from their original grey, to an everlasting black. And the ponies, all the Stallions, Mares, Fillies and Colts. All died by the purging fire.

 

Silvermind clearly wanted a Brain Bot for a reason. This reason could be key to saving Wade. Or maybe this is just wishful thinking of the mind of a emotionally challenged mare. Trying to save the one she loves. "Please let this hope bear fruit. EDNA might know more about Silvers plan. All I have now is hope." On her way back, she passed by Silvermind's corpse, and tried to pay some respects. "You where right Silver. I'm not thinking straight. I'm not focused, and I was blind to the big picture. Just wishing to make him happy. I don't deserve him. He saved your life. And I ended it, what a foolish, stupid mare I am. I doubt you will, but please, could you find it in your heart to forgive me for what I have done? I'm so sorry for acting the way I did."

 

She pulled out her flamer and set his body ablaze. In her city, this is classed as the greatest amount of respect that can be shown to the dead. Saying that they are worthy enough to spend Valuable and limited Fuel in order to pay respect to you. "Rest in peace Silver. Even though you really should not have to."

 

She got back on her Scorpion and continued on her way back to the bunker.

Elegron was thrown back by the force of the blast, shrapnel flew everywhere. He wasted no time looking for dash and making sure she was ok. He turned to a guard "nopony gets in unless they have identification. Unless you want them to attack again." He turned back to his team "we leave tonight no exceptions" rave knew where he was. He didn't know tenpony's tech though. It's survived a mega spell before. Homage has places she can go where she's safe.

Dash's armor took most of the explosion. She was flug back but stablized mid flight the reactive system of her armor aiding. Her face took a small piece of shrapnel and left a mark across her left eye. She was able to put her helmet up in time to keep her eye safe. She yells, "Is everypony ok?!"

Dozens of ghouls started to attack the fortifications of Stoneville. The slavers fired, killing some, however, more came to replace those who fell. A slaver was dragged away by a group of ghouls. Few minutes later he came back as ghoul, attacking the fortifications. He had some body armor so it was harder to kill him. He managed to wound a few ponies before being shot in the head by the leading griffin. 

 

A slaver next to Cipher was using a flamethrower to keep ghouls back. "Damn, each time one of us falls, their numbers get bigger".

Dozens of ghouls started to attack the fortifications of Stoneville. The slavers fired, killing some, however, more came to replace those who fell. A slaver was dragged away by a group of ghouls. Few minutes later he came back as ghoul, attacking the fortifications. He had some body armor so it was harder to kill him. He managed to wound a few ponies before being shot in the head by the leading griffin.

Cipher glanced over at the Slaver "I hope you've got reinforcements coming, this is only the last village, their must be many more that have been attacked by the ghouls" Cipher grumbled, She pulled her sniper out and fired at the masses of zombies, when she was empty she ducked down and began fiddling with her machine gun. She then dropped it over the fortification and reloaded her riffle. "Wish I had a Cloud-ship, these ghouls wouldn't stand a chance" she grumbled firing at the next wave of ghouls which was larger.

 

Cipher glanced over the fortifications and twitched her ears seeing a fresh wave of ghouls, she rummaged into her bag and brought out a portable cloud terminal and started tapping away at the clouds, after a minute of tapping she dropped that over the side too brining her machine-gun turret to life.

The ghouls kept on coming. But their numbers seemed to be dwindling. "We are winning, we just ne---" the slaver was cut off as a ghoul jumped him and went for his throat. The ghoul bit deep, infecting the slaver. The slaver used a revolver to get the ghoul off. Then the slaver started to shake and eye Cipher as food. He started to walk towards her, his eyes dead.

Cipher glanced up as the slaver was cut off "watch out" she said as he got jumped, she quickly scrambled for her riffle and turned around ready to help him when she looked at him she saw his dead eyes ​"sorry, but I'm not dying today" She remarked to the ghoul slaver, she took her aim and shot him point blank in the chest. She then continue to shoot him making sure he was really dead.

 

Her automatic turret then kicked in beginning to fire at any life-signs ghoul or friendly, Cipher didn't have time or the equipment to program a better turret. When the turret ran out of ammo Cipher got up and glanced over the barricade, only a few injured ghouls were left, most were unable to move far however Cipher finished them off with her pistol in the safety of the barricade.

 

Cipher then carefully went to find any survivors from the battle, she would probably be made a war hero for sure after this she thought to herself.

Luckily, Veronica saw what the bomber was up to before he exploded, and managed to get out of harm's way in time. This display of power from Rave did nothing to diminish her hopes of gaining control over the region by siding with him... In fact, it did quite the opposite. Veronica doubted DJ-Pon3 would be making many more broadcasts, and even if she did, no one would listen. In fact, they'd probably riot... And Veronica could certainly use that to her advantage. Still, she had bigger fish to catch then Tenpony Tower. She trotted over to Elegron and Cloudia.

"Hey, are you two alright? I've got some stimpacks here if you need them," she offered, hoping to gain their trust.

Greenleaves got up and ran over to midnight making sure she was ok. Elegron saw spark start to get up, and xanthe had avoided the bomb altogether and was trying to find night star.

 

Elegron hugged dash, glad that she was ok. "We have to get out of here, it's not safe" Elegron led his team and veronica onto the sky chariot outside and uncloaked it.

"I'm fine, and most of my team was at the tavern ordering food so they didn't get the worst of it"

"Good to know," she said, meaning it. These ponies would be no use to her dead. Well, actually, that wasn't entirely true... But still, she needed to trusted before she could go around sabotaging the team. At the current moment, it would be far to obvious.

"Yea we should go now before something else explodes" elegron got in the front of the sky chariot and started it up. "I wonder if we will run into silvermind again" he was hoping that silvermind would join him. He seemed like a nice pony who might have been willing to help after some persuasion. Elegron didn't know that silvermind was dead.

The Stoneville defense line had been hit hard. However, it did manage to hold. Windstreak, the leader of the griffins and representative of Lena Smiles in Stoneville, was reorganizing the defense.

 

The leader of the slavers and representative of Rave in Stoneville, Darkeye Bloodmane, was reorganizing the slavers. Darkeye was big Earth-Pony who had scars all over his body, clearly having fought many battles. His coat was black and his mane was red. His eyes had no color, they were black as night. "Get everything together. I hope you lot have learned a lesson here. If the ghouls manage to breach again, I will personally whip each one of ya. I will have you skinned. Failure is not tolerated. Is that understood?". The slavers kept their heads down, they were terrified of Darkeye. "Rave did not make me the leader of this group out of no reason. He did not send me here to relax and certainly not to let you lot relax. No, he sent me to deal with this problem and I shall not fail him. I never shall and I will make sure you wont either. You SHALL make me and Rave proud". Darkeye stomped one of his hoof into the ground and the slavers started moving again, having stopped to listen to Darkeye.

"I'm also keeping the gear, and ammo" she finished before glancing at the surviving raiders, "good luck holding this position, you're going to need it" she finished.

 

Cipher then tapped her hoof waiting for Darkeye to tell her what she needed to know. She wasn't a patient pony during her missions

Last I saw he was with a team of raiders" Elegron remembered the pony very clearly. He still couldn't tell if he was a raider or not. Elegron knew there was some good in him. Was.

Darkeye is one of the most brutal ponies wandering the wasteland, Rave being more brutal than him. He is Rave's Enforcer, one of his favorites. You are a lucky one, I acknowledge that you helped us. You can use our communication systems if you want".

Taking in Elegron's description of Silvermind, Veronica wasn't sure whether or not he would be a threat. If Silvermind didn't like Elegron too much, she may be able to work with him to sabotage him. On the other hand, Elegron did also call him a friend. (if only half-) She figured that if they ran into him, she would just have to be on her hooves.

In the madness with the ghouls, elegron's spy slipped out and was on his way to report back. He found himself face to face with a lone slaver, and before he could sound the alarm the spy put a dagger through his throat before running off, making sure he hadn't been spotted. He finally relaxed when he was out of view and range of anypony in the camp, and activated his one way radio connected to Elegrons pipbuck "hey Elegron, I've found one of raves smaller camps. His second in command is here, and there are far less soldiers here than he main base, you could probably take em out if you pulled it off"

"No I don't want to attack, they are protecting the town from ghouls. I have no reason to attack them, it would doom the town. I want you to make sure tenpony won't be attacked, try to find something on a terminal. Might be some valuable information."

The spy turned off the radio and activated a stealthbuck and approached the camp again

Cipher nodded gratefully at the Griffins, "He speaks to me like that, he would be Rave's former enforcer" she snorted making sure Darkeye overheard her before he left, "Yeah you better walk away, tail between your legs" she remarked before continuing to where the Griffin had put the communications systems.

 

Cipher Splash began her work, she made the relay connect to her headset, then she began testing the signal strength, she found a nearby station connected to the Emergency Broadcast System which was commonly used by Dj pony. Cipher got out her datapad and connected it to the terminal before starting hacking into the system which took several hours. When she finally broke though the firewalls she activated all Broadcasting stations to make her message Equestrianwide. she  and sent the following message though all known frequency's 

 

"Cipher Splash here, the defences at Stoneville are holding well, thanks to me. Some stallion called Darkeye running the joint, I'm told second in command to Rave, So Rave if you're listening, you're going to send more troops down here to help out, I don't care if that means dragging your lazy flank here but you're sending support. NOW!. Otherwise this place will be lost like the others.

 

Also Elegron if you're listening, I would like to inform you about how theirs a bounty on you're head, life is most unfair isn't it, just a fair warning though.

 

Most ponies don't know who i am, then again, Most ponies are not the Grand Pegasus Enclave

 

This is Cipher Splash, Reporting from Stoneville" Cipher then send the message being pleased with herself, she then stepped outside wondering when the next lot of ghouls were coming, she went of to go find that Darkeye and see if he was going to offer her a reward.

Elegron heard his pipbuck chirp up while in the sky chariot. He turned on his own broadcaster "yes thank you cipher i know. I've already had a few ponies try and collect. I would help out with the fight, but I'm not well liked by raves army, so I hope you can handle it. I'm not sure why they are protecting the town, but I'm grateful all the same. Cipher, any help is greatly appreciated, thanks for helping the town"

Rave heard the broadcast. "A brave pony, but rather arrogant. I don't think Darkeye will take kindly that this pony is taking credit. He doesn't like when other ponies get in the way of him pleasing me". Rave was not going to be sending anypony unless Darkeye requested it. He knew that Darkeye was a strategist. Darkeye, would call for reinforcements if necessary. This pony that had transmitted the broadcast was not a part of his faction and therefore could not make a demand, plus he did not know the pony. Rave was making preperations to go to the old Enclave ground base and see if he could find anything that would aid Project Hellfire.

"Blooddrop you're back. And you brought a Brain Bot. EDNA was after one of them. Wait, where is Silvermind?"

 

Blooddrop: "I... um... He's... i kind of. .. killed him a little." Blooddrop sunk back making herself as small as possible. AntiAnticipating some form of violent response to come from Wade. And punch from a metal fist is one of the last things you want.

 

Wade: "Be careful of your next few words. For they may be the last we exchange for a while. Why did you kill him?"

 

Blooddrop: "I was not thinking straight. He said if that I obeyed your orders and destroyed the stable. Which I did do. He would abandon us, and let you go Feral. Guess I was not thinking. That killing him would seal you the same fate. I'm sorry."

 

Wade: "You fool. What was going through your mind, enough that it persuaded you to kill him?"

 

Blooddrop: "Making you happy was all I could think of. I want you to be happy." She was now openly crying again.

 

Wade: "Emotions are playing heavily on us both today. We have been through a lot over the last few days. Your mind was half in the right. But you still made a mistake. So no 'fun' for you for 3 days."

 

Blooddrop: "Bastard."

Dash asks, "Why not aid the town from a second front? We need to get stronger. I think letting rave's group have this credit is a wise move but against that many he can't hold. If only i had access to one of the old enclave transmitter towers, the hellhounds would even the odds."

Elegron gave dash a strange look "Because if we go there to defend, once all the ghouls are dead they'll make us dead too. As for the tower, I'm sure there's at least one left, know where it might be? I think I saw some wired tower whip on my travels... But I doubt that would be what your looking for" he realized what this meant if they could pull it off "dash your a genius! Hellhound a on our side? Perfect! We need to track down one of those towers, I just need to know what they look like" Elegron kissed dash "we may actually be able to pull this off"

Star: "Sir. It's time. We are ready to mobilise our troops and start our first major operation. And the first of many battles to come."

 

Iron Mane: "Good. I hope our Intel that we have gathered still holds ture. Well, moment of truth. Send in the light Demolition Squad. Those guys who are very light on their feet. They seem to be able to walk right over mines. Make sure they do not wear any power armour. And give them Stealth bucks. Blow a hole in the walls and break a pathway through their mine field. Use all remaining C4 if needed. After that is done. We regroup and the heavies will push through, supported by the recon team with Sniper rifles. Another squad armed with energy rifles hold back, and kill any attempts of reinforcements or ponies that try and flee. This should work. Once inside our primary targets are to kill the crews mounting the Howitzers so we can move a much larger force out of cover to come and aid us on battle. They are just slavers and we have power armour and high level energy weapons. They really stand no chance, but better safe than sorry."

 

Star: "Lets just hope our information holds true."

 

A team of Demolition experts in leather armour and Stealth Bucks. Armed with enough High Ex to level Tenpony tower 3 times over, set out from the Iron warrior base, followed by a team of Snipers and then Paladin rank soldiers after them. This was going to be bloody.
