Leone closed her eyes as she heard the magic being cast, "That doesn't help." she said rather quickly as Elegron mentioned the breaking of bones and before she could scream stop! Elegron had already shot out the spell, striking the core dead center, sending Leone flying through the cave, slamming into a pillar and sending pain throughout her body as she fell down to the ground ,unable to recover from the daze. As she lay on the ground almost unconscious her suit radiated a brilliant golden light illuminating the part of the cave she landing in, the fusion core hadn't exploded and accepted the light, effectively fusing the two energies together. "Y-you wouldn't happen to have a healing spell would you?" she said weakly on the ground, unable to even lift her head to see the rest of the group.

Windroarer arrived in the badlands. He got an audience with the Blood Queen. He alerted her about Rave and the foalnapping. He also told her about the successful mission against the zebras. 

 

Lasher looked lazily at Leone. "What so special about light magic anyway. This Wasteland is already full of darkness. What will little light do against it?".

"What the fuck?! You told me to do it!"

Greenleaves rushed over and cast a healing spell on leone

Elegron gave leone an odd look "Why did you tell me to hit you with magic of you didn't want me too? Be glad it was light magic, otherwise it probably would have killed you."

"Which side are you on Lasher?" Leone said accusingly as she was being healed by Greenleaves "This whole time I've been here you've been watching me like I'm some criminal, and then you go on and say something like this, I chose my side, not because It was the advantageous side but because this darkness must be stopped, so if you could stop standing on the fence and either pledge your allegiance to Elegron here and now or leave this cave and embrace the darkness." She glared into Lasher's eyes "Didn't you say something about Loyalty a few minutes before you were going to shoot me? Pick already dammit! It's either light or dark Lasher!"

"Are you stupid? I already chose my side. I chose his side since I didn't allow the WPS Justicars to kill Greenleaves. My point is 'whats the point'. If I was going for the advantageous side, I would have joined the WPS. Darkeye offered me to join them but I refused. I saw what they were made of. I watch you because you seem to know more about Enclave secrets than you care to reveal. That means you must have held a higher rank than many others and therefore knew about the atrocities committed by the Enclave. I am loyal to those who have earned my loyalty or to those I have given a word of promise. Don't you speak of loyalty to me" he snapped at her and got into a brawling stance.

It was the hardest choice in my whole life, leave him to those monsters or join them so I could at least be with him in whatever horrible future they had planned. Taking a deep breath, even I could leave, I wouldn't be able to bear being away from my children for long. "Dark sun, leave please. We have business to discuss," I said. "Okay mom! Love you, I just want to do what is right for my family," he said happily. He retracted the crystals and left. I looked Dark Horn in the eye after. "Look, if you already convinced him of this destiny, at least let me join you so I can see my child. I want him to be safe. You already have Darkeye's corpse. I have only my kids left. Let me live whatever life I have left with them. My life with the WPS is pointless now, I have no reason to return other than to bring the others here. If I die, let it be with my family so we can all be together." Rex approached then, 'Rain are you crazy? You can't let them take Dark Sun away like that! Do something!' I looked with sadness, "I have barely had time to grieve over Darkeye, never mind that my son wants to stay here and I doubt they would do anything in terms of leaving. I married into this family, at least let me die with it." 'What about the others in Ponyville? You are just giving up? My honour can't take this anymore,' he signed pleadingly. "Sorry, I think I am sick anyway, I guess the others weren't crazy when they said stay away from the dark magic huh?" I said carelessly. 'You leave me no choice Rain, I must defend what I have left. Even if you just give up.' Rex charged at Dark Horn.

As soon as Greenleaves was finished casting her healing spell Leone got up, helmet in hoof and looked at Lasher "Yeah and who cares what I know about a faction that is 10 years dead? I am the only remnant of the enclave as far as I know and I don't know everything like you think I do, so shut your mouth ignoramus before I do it myself." She put on her helmet and assumed a fighting stance "I just don't get ponies like you, you assume every pony that is affiliated with a faction knows everything that goes on, I was confined to a laboratory and all I knew was my research, sure they trained me like any other elite soldier but I never went on covert missions to murder towns, you know why? Because I didn't KNOW."

Dark Horn summoned forth light crystals from the air and they started to pierce the scorpions armor. "Little scorpion. Why do you cry. You just got smashed like a little fly" he hummed. He jumped about. "This really is boring. Fighting a beast" he summoned forth more light crystals that began to pierce the armor near the head. 

 

"You are a great liar you know that. You are the one entering this new world. If there is anyone ignorant, it is you. You don't know a thing about what is going on, but I know that you know what went on in the past".

Elegrons horn glowed and his voice echoed "BOTH OF YOU, STOP!" He didn't want them to kill each other "leone is right, she doesn't represent the enclave anymore. There's no reason to fight. We have to cooperate." His horn was still glowing. There was an invisible barrier between them.

"I know enough about this 'new world' to be dangerous, and what makes you so sure that I know anything about the past?" Leone snapped back at Lasher, her armor glowing as she grew more and more tense, she targeted vital portions of Lasher's body [Paralyzing Hoof] to take him down in case he made the first move, what she didn't know was that there was a barrier between them. "If you're so sure why don't you throw the first hit tough guy?"

Lasher laughed. His helmet came on. His advanced sniper targeting system came online. "That is kindly offered by you, but I am a gentlestallion. Ladies first" he grinned in a disrespectful way. He wanted the excuse to attack her since he had already agreed to not harm her except she did something first.

Leone smiled, her suit created a thin ward of protective energies and reinforced the plating with the same energy, if he wanted to punch through her armor it would be difficult. "So you really do have no backbone, what happened to All Enclave is evil and they should die'?"

[KlutsyDraconequus 120]

"NO! I can't stand this anymore!" I rammed Dark Horn disrupting his casting. Rex got up injured, but not dead. "Rex, please stop! I can't take another death. I really can't." 'You are...weak, I die with...honor,' he got back up slightly limping. 'I stand for what I believe in. I know your in pain, let's go. We can finish this fight another day.' I stared at Dark Horn. "I will be back. You will not be allowed to take him from me. Next time, your dead." Feeling sicker, I left the stable. Unable to cope with all this. I began to faint falling on Rex's back. I need to make sure she's okay. Nothing will keep me from keeping her safe. With that, I headed toward Blooddrop's home with a weakened, hurt Rain on my back. The Blood Queen needed to be informed of these events quickly. Might as well tell her where Elegron is. It's the right thing to do.

Lasher looked at Enclave with disgust. "You have just proven that you are an evil Enclave idealistic freak. If you really stood for what Elegron believes, you would not be taunting me like this. This is your grave after all. I will have to consider this as a first move. I am no longer restricted from murdering you" with that, his Anti-Machine Rifle came up, with AP rounds and he aimed at Leone's head. Locking onto her with his targeting system and firing.

The barrier immediately kicked in, and bolts arced from it in the directions the attack came from. The bullet disintegrated, as the bolts struck lasher, temporarily paralyzing him. "Sorry lasher, but i don't want either of you dying on me. And leone, stop taunting him, your only making it worse."

Cryssi sat away from the fight, holding a pistol and shaking violently. The fear of the thought of having to maybe shoot one of them make her very scared. And with Dark Magic on a constant assault outside, she could not handle the pressure very well, and started crying again.

 

Kalus walked to Cryssi, sat down next to her and hugged her tightly. "Shhh, young mare. I understand that this is hard, and I'm not the best for offering comfort. But you need to be strong. For yourself, and Zac. Do not let this get to you all too much. You will adjust. Maybe."

Blooddrop had a bad feeling in her gut. Something had been happening recently. Something major. It had been bugging her for over a day, but she could never place her hoof on it. The reports about the ponyville incident both calmed her nerves but made her worried simultaneously. If the theory was true, and Rave had returned, but took more of a essence of Dark Magic as his form, unicorns are the only hope they really had, otherwise things could go Sour. The reports on Glyphmark went as expected. The village destroyed, slaves taken and others killed. One more batch of rebels and terrorists slain.

Dark Horn returned inside with Dark Sun. "You know, your mother is going to be a problem". "A problem?". "Yes a problem. She doesn't want you to become special. She doesn't want you to get in the way of her most special child". "What are you talking about?". "I'm talking about Violet, your sister. Oh I've been watching for a long time. She always treats her better than you or your brother. She is always glad to see her". "Tha--that's not true, you shut your mouth, or I--I---I will...." he was cut off as Rave's shadow appeared in front of them. "That's enough Dark Horn. I will escort Dark Sun from here". Dark Horn left, laughing. "I'm sorry about that, he is not exactly the best pony to be around. You will become great, you will become powerful... you will become the king of the Crystal Empire. The Crystals will rule it once more. Screw the Wasteland. Screw Ponyville, the Badlands, Canterlot and everything else. Those are nothing but a pile of rubles and barren wastelands. Now, we will return where we truly belong. In the icy cold North, far away from any other pony settlement. Away from the world, we will have a world of our own and we will not bother this sick world. It can die on it's own. We will save ours and live in peace.... or at least you will, since I am dead". Dark Sun's face brightened up with happiness. He wanted to be a king. He had read a lot about the history of the Crystals and he was so proud of it, proud of his heritage. "However, Dark Horn was a little bit right". "Huh?". "Your mother is going to be a problem. She will try to persuade you to stop, to abandon your dreams, want you to return to your boring little life in the boring little WPS. The WPS and the Lightbringers can fight each other for all I care. We don't want any problems with anypony. We just want our own home, our rightful lands. Your mother will try to take that away from you. If she comes again to take you away, you must be strong, you must fight back and not hold back when it comes to the final blow". "But I---" "This is important, this is your life after all, not hers. I am of course related to you, so is Scar, so we have the right to teach you and take care of you, if you want". Dark Sun looked at Rave's shadow for a moment. "I choose to follow the Crystal code". "I knew you would not disappoint me". The shadow gave a creepy smile.

Elegron sat down on the opposite side of cryssi and put a hoof over her shoulder "hey, it's alright. Nopony is dying today. At least none of us." He said in a calming voice before carefully taking the pistol and put it back in cryssis holster. "I know this world can be harsh, but it's ok. In a few days I was thinking we could head to stable city. I think we all need baths. And a trip to the spa couldn't hurt" Elegron said with a smile

I kept skittering forward through the wasteland and ruins. I must...make it to...Blooddrop before we both die of...exposure. My strength gradually faded and I had to stop. I found a campsite that once served as a refuge for somepony a while back. It had a torn tent, and the grounds had been long looted for anything valuable. What mostly remained was scraps of old food and relics from an age gone and long forgotten. We can rest here until the morning, we can make it to Blooddrop by afternoon tomorrow,...if we survive the night that is. I gingerly placed Rain's body in the tent and found myself a bush nearby that concealed me just enough to detect attackers before they found me. I would need the sleep for tomorrows leg of the journey. I could only hope that we'd be in time to save Rain. With the both of us secure for the time being, I knocked out almost immediately from my own exhaustion. My own dreams that night were filled with scenarios of Rain passing in her sleep or someone finding and killing us. I couldn't shake that fear. Even if I had the advantage in surprise, I was weakened from that fools crystals. I would not be able to mount much of a defense. Despite my nightmares, I slept as best as could be expected.

Cross continued to cry, this experience was turning out to be quite a traumatic one. She was a messenger, not a soldier. She had never had to draw he gun and almost have to use it her whole life, Zac does all her fighting for her Most of the time. "I can't handle this world. Nothing makes sense and everything is just far too random. Ponies trying to kill each other every second, even within groups of allies. I wanna go home." Zac became very passed off with everyone. He had never seen Cryssi in such a bad way before. Next pony to make her cry and hurt her in any way, was getting Stabbed and killed.

"cryssi, you know you can't go back to the white poison. They'll kill you. Now that they know your with us.... But you can stay at stable city. And cryssi, I know your not a fighter. You don't have to be. Leave the fighting to us, I'm still glad to have you with me." He hugged her gently "Have you seen what the white poison do to ponies? Trust me, you don't want to. I don't want that happening to you. Please cryssi, don't try going back to them." He looked genuinely concerned.

"I wish I could go back. Just to have a home to escape this madness. I just wanted a quiet life, a messenger is lovely because we move from place to place and never have to worry about attacks. I can't handle this. It's just too much for me. I'm going to lose my mind if I stay out for more than a few days."

 

Kalus: "She needs a doctor. Someone who can help calm her and keep her calm. I thought a friendly face such as myself would help remind her that not everyone she knew is against her. I've been wrong before."

"We need to et her to my city. It's the only safe place left. Hey cryssi, we've got to go." He brought her saddlebags over to her. Elegron pulled a smooth metal radio out "spark, send me a chariot. 8 seats"

"It's on it's way, headed towards your Pipbucks location." Elegron saw the strange looks the ponies were giving him "stable city isn't as massive as the white poison, so we have more resources to spare. I've thought about a roller coaster, but we have more important things to build."

I awoke a couple hours later, It would be dawn soon so we could travel somewhat safely now. I first made a check of Rain in the ruined tent. Whew, she's still out, but seems fine. I picked her up carefully and left the site I was more than half way to her home. It would be a productive morning but a strained one since Rain hadn't restocked food. I should be able to hunt rodents on my own. I am not that helpless.

 Finally making it to Blooddrop's home. The guards helped us immediately recognizing Rain taking her to a medic. I needed to speak to Blooddrop soon, she understood me, well most WPS could understand bits of scorpion but she was more fluent than most. I was just glad to finally be in home territory again.  I hurt a little still from that pony but my sleep helped my healing a bit. I had other concerns at the forefront of my mind. I had to find trainer or anybody who could direct me. I found a guard, and signed, 'Leader, now hurry!' He struggled a bit to understand but he lead me away after he figured it out. Food would have to wait until then.

Scar had watched the commotion going on outside through one of the hidden security cameras. "Bloodbucket? Ready the defenses of the Stable. I have a feeling that we might get visited by intruders. This Stable was built to withstand an attack from an army and even from special ops. So that is what we shall do, withstand. Damn those ponies, all we want is to get back to our home in the Crystal Empire".
