Can anyone think of  the illustration the art is representing?

I assume you made this? If so, it looks beautiful. Both the ray of light and the lack of colours seem to represent something as you said. Some things I thought of that represented were dreams, as well as revival.

 

Not only I also liked the lighting and the BW style, but I also like the soft shading. Keep up the good work.

I believe that it's saying that there was someone who was lost in the darkness, (maybe had a bad past) but is now starting to find the light and get better. It's not the best theory because I used both dark and light but whatever.

Yes, i am the creator. I think what I named the tilde is what it represents.
