I don't have any phobias that require me to go see a specialist or anything, but I do have fears...

  • Death
  • Needles
  • Demons (fascinated by them and love studying them, but their frequently in my nightmares)
  • Rejection
  • Lonliness
  • Being used (as in someone using me to their advantage)
  • All the other good stuff that a 18 year old girl is afraid of (except spiders)

I have a solid Arachnophobia, I can't stand to look at spiders, I don't want them crawling on me, I don't like scorpions or any other arachnid.  However I find the common Daddy Long Legs found in the US to be cool since they eat mosquitoes (I think).  Their foreign cousins found in other parts of the world I find creepy (since I looked them up a second ago for this post).

I don't know if cannibalism has a phobia name but I have it I can tell you that much.  It's pretty much watching people eat other people or the thought/act of me eating people gives me the willies.  The stupid Cupcakes gorefic (that I never read or will ever read) is scary from the plot outline alone.  That one scene in the movie "This is The End" that one guy *shudder* "ate" James Franco's face, I had to look away.  Fake or not it scared the bejesus out of me.

long legs aren't considered spiders to be honest.

Well when I used to study Psychology they said fears are what you are scared of and phobias are fears that are usually irrational but more importantly you must go to great lengths to avoid, that is the key factor in finding out if it's a phobia or not.

Like for example I'm pretty sure everyone is scared of being buried alive I mean it's survival instinct but not many people would say they have Taphophobia which is the phobia of being buried alive, if you did have taphophobia it would mean you went out of your way to make sure that didn't happen like for example staying away from graveyards so you don't accidentally fall in or like what some people did and had a bell installed above their grave with a string attached which lead right into there hand inside the coffin so they could ring it and get dug out.

All this considered I can tell you I have Acrophobia. Now don't say it's actually the fear of falling because I mean it as in if I'm on top of something tall I am scared, if I see something tall I'm scared, if I see a picture of people high up I get scared. I purposefully go out of my way to avoid being high up.

I also used to have Social Phobia like really badly, there's no one term for it because there are different kinds of social phobia like Xenophobia (Fear of Strangers/Foreigners), Gelotophobia (Fear of being laughed at), etc. I sort of got over these phobias because I didn't want to have to go out of my way to avoid these situations happening anymore

I have a fear of clowns, thanks to the Stephen King miniseries IT, I also have a fear of tight spaces, crowds and heights. I to some degree have a social phobia in the sense of I have trouble making new friends and introducing myself to new people. I also to some degree fear public speaking and worry about being laughed at or made fun of, mainly because in school I was a outcast and had zero friends. It has gotten better to some degree though since being done with school and college.

Is there a phobia of Egypt related tombs and undead creatures? I know this sounds like an irrational fear since I actually find Ancient Egypt's mythology and history fascinating. It's the only fear I have.

Here's a list if your interested in knowing your fear: http://phobialist.com/

Can't promise you'll find what you're looking for, but hope it helps!

Acrophobia - fear of heights

I also have a really bad fear of talking with other people to the point where I basically shut down, along with the fear of getting blood drawn, and I have a pretty bad fear of weight gain.

Astraphobia- Fear of thunder and lightning. I know it may sound silly, but thunderstorms have always been a fear of mine since I was little. While most people are fascinated by them ( for some reason) I'm terrified of them. They're too unpredictable and loud...

Lilapsophobia- Fear of tornadoes and hurricanes.

I don't fear much in life. There is one thing...

Thanatophobia - Fear of Dying

I take morality very seriously. It's a long story, that I'd rather not get into.

I only have a fear of getting blood drawn because of my rolling veins, last time I got it done I had bruises on several parts of my arms lol

the ladybug one I can admit is super odd and weird for a phobia but since there are ladybugs where I live like crazy I developed a huge fear of them, I have a fear of all insects but ladybugs are the worst to me. There's just something about them that horrifies me (namely their looks), and yeah I've yet to find someone who doesn't think it's odd, even I think it's odd lol.

The worst of my fears (in no particular order) are my fear of falling, worms, slugs, snails, shots, and there's also my crippling social anxiety. I can't really rank any of them as they're often the same in intensity (of fear/panic) in which I have a massive panic attack and do anything to get myself as far away as possible from whatever I'm scared of or I'm paralyzed with fear.

I suppose I have a fear of deep water and heights, most notably.

How do you try to get away from shots? Also, I hope you're generally well. Panic attacks sound very uncomfortable..
