movies/tv Thoughts on the new Inspector Gadget?

Inspector Gadget is back, this time in CG. A new reboot from the FiM house themselves DHX Media is coming later this year. An interesting fact, Twilight Sparkle (Tara Strong) will be the new voice of Penny. It doesn't look too bad, the CG is nice and energetic, and it looks to do a decent job bringing the show to a modern era. Though, Brain looks cheap as hell TBH. Here's what it looks like.

 

 

It will premiere on Teletoon in Canada, and Boomerang everywhere else as part of the channel's new relaunch.

I remember the old Inspector Gadget, it is too early to tell if it will be any good but I will check it out. I like the animation style. it really shows that CGI has come a long way.

Definitely one of the better looking CGI adaptions of a show I've seen. Everything looks very clean while retaining the energy of the original. Hopefully, the writing is on the same level as the animation though. Regardless, it looks promising.

I do like Inspector Gadget, especially Matthew Broderick playing as him in the movies. Absolutely I'm going to check this out...

That actually looks cute. I might consider this since I grew up with Inspector Gadget. :3

I never watched the original so, I probably won't like it. But, I might check it out.
