Chronos shook his head and stepped away from the fight, if he want to he would use his magic to break up the fight but he didn't really like steel or grell so kind of wanted to see them try and kill each other. He then heard something coming Lunar's room. He shook his head once more and walked inside, He was starting to doubt their chances once more... He remembered something his friend told him once told him; Order makes stallions brave, and Chaos: Cowards.  Chronos said something to himself "There is enough chaos right now to make even the bravest stallion a coward."

Aurora just couldn't move. She had never seen an alicorn loose it before and it made her afraid. "Similar to the dream but not the same and not here." This was all she said thinking back to the nightmare. All she could have done was wing dodge that one's attacks. Just like she did in the nightmare.

Luna sighed, brushing herself off. "Still so much more she needs to learn..." she mumbled to herself, shaking her head slightly. "No wonder Chronos doubts we'll win. We're probably the laughing stock of the Crystal Empire." She used her magic and fixed all of Lunar's things she broke. "We need more time. More training. She's not ready to fight by no means." She shut the door to Lunar's room, sighing heavily. She then looked at Aurora. "We are deeply sorry you had to witness her childness..."

 

Celestia noticed Chronos. She flew to him. "You witnesses what Lunar did, too?" she asked, her ears low. She knew Luna would refuse Lunar to fight now. She had disappointed her greatly.

 

Lunar laid unconscious on the ground. Her hooves slowly went back to normal, her eyes returning to their golden color behind her eyelids.

 

Midnight followed Celestia, her ears flat against her head.

Aurora shakes her head, "Fears must be faced. The dream was similar to this but it was you and everyone else, including me, were the targets. A shadow covering your true self. A darkness to make fear. The dark side of the moon." Aurora had calmed a bit but was still shaking.

Lightning flair flashed right next to luna. "What the buck just happened?" He demanded all he heard was roaring screaming and much chaos going on and he sensed something was off with weird magicla imbalances. His eyes was darker red then usual. "Seriously why is lunar on the ground?"

Luna sighed. "Grell caused Lunar to get upset. She ran off to her room, but instead of calming down, she went on another rampage. She is not fit to fight this war. She will be staying here in the castle." she said flatly. He could tell that she was truly disappointed and ashamed of what Lunar did. "She is not even fit to wear the crown at this point, let alone be in a war."

"Yes... she is undisciplined, childish, and the fact she reacted like that over a stallion, who as far as I know, She met yesterday..." He then looked at midnight before looking back at Celestia " It makes me doubt her self control. The rest of them, they may have fighting skills but they also have their problems that make me doubt our chances even more... If I had a month I could whip them into shape... but sadly we barely have a day" He said before leaning up against the wall. "This is why I liked the old days, a thousand disciplined Equestrian soldiers, a couple sets of siege equipment, and carts full of tents, weapons, and a few barrels of rum. That is how you take a city, not a rag tag group containing a wild card, a loss cannon, Two princesses, a timid mare, a childish alicorn, a knight, a prince, a bookworm, and moon mare... we might as well move to new pegasus and start a stage show in one of the casinos..."

He looks back at luna his eyes completly black. He was starting to get angry and his voice was deepening. "You say that about my sister?! I was much worse by every means! My rage caused alot more damage then a few broken tables and a few broken windows mother!" He says gritting his teeth. "Its not easy controlling alicorn magic me and you both know this" He says.

Steel and grell clashed one last time both stabbing the other steel coughed up some blood

And grell could bearly stand "looks like another draw grell" steel said

Grell nodded and the both fell to the ground steel was just awake enough to pull out a small bottle and drink form it and poured some in grells mouth before passing out

"The heart is something that can never be predicted. Emotions can't be controlled, only channeled. Midnight, My other half, learned that a week before we came here. She can sense emotion and that One holds many unknowns." Aurora says pointing to Lunar.

Vines began to grow all over the place including black vines that grabbed flair draining his magic away constantly and the more magic it felt the more it drained and the more it drained the Stronger it got

Leif evergreen walked into the training grounds sighing "to think this alicorn and this sad little bunch of ponies is what's supposed to stop sombra" Leif said

Flair was using no magic by anymeans in fact the vines could detect none what so ever. "You have not seen me get angry yet" He says. "Now put my down and let me have a conversation with my mother" He says his horn wasnt flashing or glowing he was just staying there in the vines.

Aurora looked to the new pony and says, "Well none of us knew what we were getting into directly when we came. Flare your anger is about to peak. Watch out." Aurora puts a calming hoof to his shoulder. He can feel two hooves near that same spot. Aurora's eyes shift to gain black rings here irises are as wide as her eyes making them different. A voice speaks, "Calm as a morning dew." The voice of Midnight, Aurora's other.

Leif looked at him with a Board expression "even though you use no magic you still have magic In you and you are far to unstable for me to just let go so I'll conti until you are no longer unstable" Leif said "you'll never win like this you fools let emotion run you"

"Im not angry guys seriously, the last time i got angry i almost blew the castle down with Lightning, You guys are seriously taking this one way too far" He says coldly. "I mightve been a little frusturated yes, my mother isnt showing the patience she showed with me."

(If everyone would just calm down, I can get this thing resolved. I can't even make a post right now because people are blowing up my notifications.)

Luna looked at him sternly. "This is for her own good. She can't control her emotions or her magic. She is not ready for a full scale war. She doesn't run like you." She looked at the new pony. "And put him down now before I'm forced to detain you. You are only causing more chaos in this mess."

 

Celestia looked at Chronos. "You are my most trusted soldier. Do you think we should hold off on leaving and train them more? It's no use going to try to defeat him with a team of misfits."

 

Midnight sighed, looking away.

Aurora backs away, shaking her head. "I realy hate it when that happens. Midnight really needs to control her empathy." Aurora looks to Luna, "But somepony is getting really anger right now and they are close. I think I will leave before Midnight decides to try again."

Leif sighed "still to unstable all of you except you two " Leif said pointing to chronos and clesestia "both of you seem to have your emotions in check What about the two there on the ground how is their emotional stability" lord asked he was speaking In monotone the whole time he looked at Luna "your unstable as well lucky for you my blackened vines can only go to one pony at a time" Leif said he sat flair down banishing the vines "none of you will set hoof on my land you will only cause trouble this is your only warning"Leif said vines picking him up as he left

"Then let me take lunar under my wing mother, i can show her the way if you just let me" he says still bound in vines. "You know full well she was only trying to proctect not hurt anyone, if you let me show her some ways on how to keep your emotions in check" He says completly ignoreing leif.

 (I thought luna and Celestia were on different floors of the castle)

 

"I could try and whip them into shape, but I would need permission to use all my magic to its fullest." He said, taking off his helmet.

" I'm going to need it for Steel and Grell. They are skilled fighters but it seems that taking orders may not be their strong point, that's why I called them a loss cannon and a wild card..." He said. "But the longer we take to train them, the longer Sombra has to prepare... " He continued.

Celestia shook her head. "Those two are fine. Steel is a trained assassin and Grell... Well, I'm not entirely sure, but I know for a fact that they're as good as you." She sighed. "As for the rest of them, do what you have to. However, I'm pretty certain Luna will not allow Lunar to fight now."

 

Luna shook her head. "She is barely stable enough for me. She needs a stern hoof. No offense, but you tend to baby her, dear. I will work with her."

 

Midnight blinked. "B-besides my shyness, I-I am a good fighter. Celestia's been training me..." she piped in, frowning a little. "I am by no means a lost cause or a misfit..."

 

Lunar's eyes began to open. She groaned, rolling over. -Ow my head...- she thought, putting her hoof to her head.

"Well the choice is the princesses'." Says Aurora heading towards Luna's room. "I think a nap in a dark place will set me straight. But first when is beakfast?" Aurora's stomach lets loose a roar of anger and hunger. She turns and says, "Sorry....I got a loud stomach."

"Oh... I can get lunar into fighting condition, I have done it with many rookies and squires. She is simply blinded by 'love' or what ever she has with Steel..." Chronos said. "It may somewhat hurt her emotionally but She will be more disciplined afterwards." It would be difficult but Chronos knew he could do it. He then looked at Midnight "Yes but you being timid makes me question you morale in a fight... What would you do if one of the princesses fall in battle, if their strength fails, would you begin believing your strength shall fail also and flee, or would you fight to your last breath?"

Celestia shook her head, sighing. "You may have worked with different types of ponies, but never an alicorn. Let Luna handle her." she simply said.

 

Midnight frowned more. -Or ignore me. That works too...- she thought, turning and walking away from them. She was tired of this day already. Ponies flying off the handle, princess recruits going bazerk. She just wanted to go back to bed and try again.

"I truly believe I can do it if you would give me the chance but if you think that it would be best for Luna to deal with her, then I shall not argue." Chronos said, putting back on his helmet. He knew he could do it, but he wouldn't try to argue with Celestia, she was much wiser then him.
