Okay, it's very late now, I can't finish the cutie mark, I'm too tired. In about 9-10h I'll be back with the drawing, I don't know if that matches your own schedule, I'm sorry if it doesn't.

...Now that I think about it...

 

It looks very much like a filly, I'm really tired so I don't know if that's a good idea, but here's the drawing so far, tell me if you want it to have the cutiemark(in this case I'll do it tomorrow), or if you would like a filly version of her. I really don't mind to do finish it tomorrow, it's just that she really look like a filly .

Maybe there are some things wrong or to be reworked, I'll contact you tomorrow to give you the corrected drawing if that's the case, sorry for all this stuff, I wish I could have finished earlier.

The drawing looks good. No worries about the cutie mark not being there if she looks like a filly. I actually like seeing more drawings of her as a filly so I'm glad you did that. One problem though (sorry if I sound a little picky). Her maneband is supposed to be red, it looks purple to me. That's the only issue though. Thanks so much for drawing her.

OC Name: Cherry Sea

Body Colour: Light yellow

Main Mane Colour: Light blue/teal (Tail is short)

Secondary Mane Colour: Light green. But if you want to be more detailed with the drawing, then the streaks are a dark shade of green near the roots of the mane. As the streak travels downward toward the tips, the color changes to an almost yellow-green. You don't have to get all detailed if you don't want to though; it's only if you want to

Cutie Mark : A light pink flag with a microphone as the design (picture below. Sorry for the lack of color)

Eye colour: Magenta (kind of like Rainbow Dash's)

Personality: Timid in front of strangers but can be sarcastic and hyper with close friends

Race: Unicorn

Accessories: Has a pink iphone strapped to her hoof

Yes here you go try to see what you can do with mine, I have included it along with cutie mark you have artistic freedom. I do want the silver off his legs, and silver hoop earings added to the ears if you can I want him wearing combat boots or doc. martins you dig. If you can do that, if not thats cool I don't want the boot tight maybe rugged looking like they have been worn, but just have fun, and thank. Also take your time thanks.

I fixed some things and the maneband. I'm not able to do much about the mane/tail, I'm sorry, maybe when I'm a little more trained I'll try again, I was not able to make them look as great as I would have wanted them to be.

I'm not sure I'll draw the boots.

Also, there's a issue we need to discuss before I start drawing it. It's about the colors. I respect your choices, however, I'm not sure about the purple hooves, I see why there are purple, but I think they should have a color closer to the body color, so the mane and the tale remain the only ones with the purple color.

But that was not the issue yet , what troubles me is the color of the body and the cutiemark, it's too close. So you may want to think about it and tell me what I should do about it .

Also, I think the black color in the mane/tail should differ from the black color of the body.

 

I understand your choices as I myself wanted similar things when thinking about my OC(not the purple one), but I think that a good OC palette should have at least three different colors (apart from the cutie-mark and the eyes), it makes them more..uh.. Unique ? Visible ? I think it's the step from being somepony to being your pony.

Sorry if I'm not understandable sometimes or if I don't understand everything .

From 1 to rock, how hard do you want it ? I'm not really into putting accessories from our century on ponies. It's okay if you think this is an important part of your OC(for instance, the microphone in the cutie-mark obviously is), but if we can get rid of it and make your OC more natural, it would be...uh.. I don't know, I think you got the point .

A little bit disappointed about the mane, I screwed up my layers and I didn't feel like redoing the mane color, but I think it's still good. It's also the first time I draw a stallion .

Enough talking, here's your drawing, hope you love it !

About the future requests : I'd like to draw some fillies, and other stuff like that, so if you want a second pony on the picture, a picture where your OC is more expressive(sad, determinated, happy,..), a pony that isn't your OC, and so on.. Just ask for it, it'll be a pleasure to try it.

 

 

Also, I'll soon get back to drawing my own OC, and holidays don't last forever, so the shop might close and re-open later, I will still accept requests here, but I may not draw them immediatly(well, that's not the case right now because I'm too slow but you got what I meant )

Also, do you want me to keep the white color effects on the hair or should I make them look like, uh, well, I don't know, like hair without white color effects ?

Mmh, I don't know. About the practice-thing, the only real issue is when I don't find any pose close to what I'm looking for, so I am forced to do it without anything to refer to. Otherwise, I only put it on my second monitor and I try to do something close to it. It's not that hard when I have a good reference.

 

About the pose itself, do you mind trying another one ? I'm sure we can find one that suits her well, something related to her story maybe ? Perhaps do you have the mother design in mind ? We could try to create the scene with the black stallion thing for instance . It's up to you, we can do something simplier too, but I advise you take some time to think about it and tell me what you'd really like to see on your picture and contact me back .

Okay, so I thought about what you said.

 

I have already started writing more of Cloud Wing's backstory, and one of the main scenes is where shes hiding under her bed with the shadow pony looking for her.

 

All she could see were his hooves.

 

So maybe we could do that scene?

 

I went into paint real quick to kinda get the basic idea of it.
