I liked it, though I would have been leaving the sword submerged in a pond overnight till it started telling me everything it knew. But in any case, I did enjoy it. I'm not the biggest fan of it, but it's a pretty sweet game to play through. I remember it taking so long to go through the first time, then I re-played it and beat it in one sitting... And as far as I know, the game was a by-product of some bigger project so there could be a sequel but I seem to remember reading that it was suppose to be an animation or a movie of some kind.

Its a good game.  I got it on a steam sale.  I think summer sale.  not last but the one before i think.

 

It is a good game but it has Amazing graphics and artwork.  I reccomend getting the game.

This game has honestly the best art style in any video game I've played. The story was heartwrenching and the gameplay was surprisingly unique. It's one of my favorites to date.

It was honestly pretty awesome. To my knowledge it was (mainly) one dude devoting a ton of his time/effort/life into making said game, only for it to become widely popular and successful. It's not minecraft-level of turnout, but I'd consider it an impressive turnout all the same.

 

But yeah. Game was fun to play, level design and overall progression was good, what I remember of the music/sound is great, though some of the cutscenes were a little unnatural if you listen too carefully to it. Art was amazing, which is obviously the strong point of the whole game.

 

Overall great success story that probably got some people pretty notable cred in the indie game developement (or resources for) community.

 

Also the furry community has a decent game now I would think.

I really like Dust's character model, it's badass. As for the game, it was simple but I had some issues at first (Well, shouldn't have started on the highest difficulty xD) but once you get used to it, it's easy to exploit. Liked it altogether though, however I only played through it once so I don't remember that much :/

Dust an Elysian Tail was under the Free With Gold deal so I took advantage of it and played it

 

I expected it to not be a good game.... now I consider it one of the best games ever to come from the Free With Gold deal

While I wouldn't call it the best game around, "Dust: An Elysian Tail" is indeed one of the better ones that I have played. I still have yet to play through all of it yet, but it's on my list. What little I've played has been highly enjoyable thus far!
