Somebody Tell Me, Where Do People Get Custom Figures?

I was wondering where people get the custom painted figures and stuff of there OC and other things? I know they're not official, but are there commision pages? I see pictures on EQD for custom compilations and I kinda like them so where can I go about getting one if I wanted to? I know most on there are made by the people who sent them in but...

I ordered my figure from @@Trees here on the forum. Well actually a friend ordered for me and I still need to pay him back as of this posting, but the figure is of my OC. The more complicated, the more expensive. The prices in the thread are only examples and it can go higher. I say it's worth it though if you truly love your OC as much as I love mine.

 

Received it this recent Monday, and I'm taking her to Ponycon NYC 2015 tomorrow as a conversation starter. Also to get some advertizing for Tree's work cause I think she deserves more customers with how detailed the figures are. Going to be fun correcting people that she is in fact NOT an Alicorn.

I must say, that figure is quite stunning 

It's actually a bit funny considering I was browsing her store after posting this, but I think seeing the work they did on your is quite assuring that, should I get a commision, It would most likely be from them. (I myself was looking for somewhere for my OC and maybe LittlePip, too)
