@TheRockARooster These newer video games almost look like the real WWE nowdays! I lose myself thinking I'm watching the shows.

I lost three or four matches in the very beginning because I needed to get out of the  Spider-Man and Lego controls mindset I've been in lately.

I’m going try and look at Sting’s time in WWE in another way, try and find a way to enjoy it for what it was instead of getting upset about what it could have and I will say to hell with Vince McMahon, straight to hell.

Alright everypony, the final of the New Japan Cup is going down tomorrow! The sleeper tournament has shaken up the status quo of NJPW. The two men vying for their first cup win are:

Seiya Sanada vs. David Finlay the 3rd.

If you don't recognize them, that's understandable. They've changed a bit over the past few weeks. 

A bit of context. Jay White lost a loser leaves New Japan match to Eddie Kingston. Beofre he could give his farewell speech, he got silenced with the business end of a Shillelagh. Cut to the first round of the NJC. Who comes out to new music with Jay's old manager, Gedo, by his side, clad in biz cliz colors. BC's newest leader, the rebel: David Finlay. He bested Tomohiro Ishii, the Great O-Khan, Jon Moxley's protege, Shotoa Umino & Ex-BC founder, Tama Tonga to reach the finals, all by cutting the class clown routine and channeling that savagery and resentment towards life itself that the Finlays have been known for. 

On the opposite block, Sanada has been in a lull since last year. Had to forfeit his first singles title without defending it after a cracked orbital bone. Had a so-so New Japan Cup and tag league. Was on the losing team against his mentor Keiji Mutoh's final New Japan match. And lost his NJPW vs. NOAH match against ex-tag partner, Manabu Soya. He basically slept walked into his first round match against Taichi. It wound up being the shot in the arm he needed as his respected rival and fellow connoisseur of the four pillars of King's Road slapped some fire back into him and forced Sandy to get crafty and forge a new finisher in a sister Abigail style DDT. With that new wrinkle in his arsenal, Sandy bested KENTA, then his partner in LIJ, Tetsuya Naito. Only for a plot twist to hit, with Sanda announcing post match that he was leaving Los Ignobernables de Japon. Not only that, but he would join new pal Taichi and his buds Douki, Yoshinobu Kannemaru and Taka Michinoku to form New japan's latest super group:

I kid you not. That is legit their name. It's Just Five Guys. 

 After his new allegiance was declared, Sanada debuted his new, Jun Akiyama circa '90's All Japan, inspired look, before taking on the man who shelved him last NJC: Will Ospreay. 

Or it should have been, had Ospreay not been injured in his first cup match. Instead, Ospreay allowed the decision to be reversed due to being unable to continue, thus granting his opponent and fellow United Empire member, Aussie Opens Mark Davis to advance in the tournament and get a feel good Cinderella win over EVIL, showing how much of a Stan Hansen-esq beast he is outside of tag competition. Unfortunately the clock would strike midnight and Sanada's new move would clinch him the final. 

Now the two guys in the final represent the changing faces of New Japan's faction scene. And they may not be the lats defections. While LIJ handled Sanada's departure with more annoyance than anything,  not all of BC has exactly accepted their new leader with open arms. Everyone's favorite Canadian dousche, El Phantasmo, was of the opinion that Jay was gonna be spared the commensurate beat down of members past (see: Finn Balor, AJ Styles, Adam Cole, The Elite & G.o.D.). Finlay didn't get this memo and neither did Gedo. He's not happy taking orders from a guy he was tagging against a month or two prior. The Club is split. Bad Luck Fale voted Finlay in. All of House of Torture look on board with the promotion. Chase Owens is on the fence. No word from Taiji Ishimori, Chris Bey or Ace Austin. KENTA is leaning towards ELP side. And not only is it a disagreement on leadership, it's also a rare heel vs. heel clash in ideologies. ELP likes to fool around, showboat, stroke his own ego and get under his opponents skin. Finlay thinks the club has gone soft and is too concerned on their merch sales. He wants action, violence and results and wants it done yesterday. One of these things has got to give and history isn't siding with ELP on this. He maybe the next to get kicked out of the club. Where he goes, only Gedo knows.

Who are your favorite wrestlers? My favorites of all-time are Trish Stratus and John Cena and my current favorite is Becky Lynch.
