That was cool but the Randy Savage segment was unexpected the first time I played through the mode and it stuck in my memory better. 

I don't even care about the cutscenes in the newer WWE2K games and I just skip them but WWE13, 2K14 and my favorite 2K16 were special.

And while the G1 is taking place, Pro-Wrestling NOAH also ran a show from a sold out Koruken Hall, with the dream match between the two disciples of former WCW U.S. champ and 3rd best Road Warrior Kensuke Sasaki finally duking it out. NOAH's sociopath kick boxer, Katsuhiko Nakajima takes on the hype man of All Japan, Kento Miyahara. Two students with the same sensei who took very different approaches to wrestling. One was a karate prodigy. The other became a fan through Hulk Hogan. And now it's a clash of ideologies, which seems to be the back bone of anything major that's happened in Puro history. 

 

But that's not all that's got people talking. September 17th is the 25th anniversary of NOAH's genius, Naomichi Marufuji. And one man really wants to be that special opponent for him on that silver anniversary. 

That's gonna be a fun watch.

Congrats to Willow Nightingale & Athena becoming the first women to ever main event an ROH pay per view.  

I'd highly recommend ordering the rest of the show too, even if half of it is thrown together due to injuries and the Hollywood strike.

Two things. First, it was something saw on Facebook but since I was looking at it at the same time as here, I thought it was in this thread. Now I can’t find the Facebook post. If he were really coming out of retirement, even for a single match, it would be easy news to verify. So I’m not sure what I was looking at.
