So to spirits, Ezekiel would look like what exactly?

Something akin to a cop, ambassador, or doctor depending on the spirit. Shaman are ponies (or zebra or buffalo) that spirits know they can talk to and communicate with. Whether they like them or not, a spirit knows that a shaman understands their way and intent, that their words won't fall on deaf ears if said to them.

It's not enough to be spiritually awakened, Shamanism means the person isn't just perceiving them, but able to "deal" with them.

Nothing severe just bronchitis.

Though it does take a toll on me.

Dude, if you can't post for now, don't. Take your time.

@@Defender of Tomorrow,

I'm kind of picturing Lord Okoto from Princess Mononoke speaking. If not in shape, but in Keith David's deeeeeep, poooooowerful, and smoooooth voice. Although disembodied, the boars make the comparison appropriate.

@@Unicorncob,

Just so you know, Defender made it clear the spirit is powerful. The boars aren't just not attacking that are holding still as if frozen in time. It may not be apparent at first but Crackshot could tell something besides Ezekiel seemingly talking to himself is going on if he looks closer.

No it's not his fault. Likely he just wasn't looking close.

If anyone's the fool it's me for getting us pumped up only to have peace talks.

Oh no, not at all :o

I think this is pretty cool actually :P

I'm glad you like it. What particularly are you finding cool?

Well, just the fact he can do that really :o

It's like we have a little more of the old-world charm in this post-apocalyptic hellhole

That does make sense seeing as most of the spirits have been around since before the War. But actually as I explained to Aile, it was the War along with the absence of Celestia and Luna that lead to them manifesting in such droves.

That makes sense, but still, we still have that old zebra shamanism that some may consider extinct in the current era :D

Not by Ezekiel's count it ain't! I do know what you are getting at though, it lets back in some of the Pre-War "magic" for lack of a better term. That mystical element that makes Equestria wonderful. To see it there but scattered and in hiding is a reflection of the world as it is.

I hope no one minds that I'm playing as pirates, because Fallout needs some comedy once in a while.

A ) Fallout is built on comedy contrasting with it's bleakness so it's not out of place.

B ) I'm not protesting to pirates. It makes sense. The ponies of the Wasteland are trying to recreate Pre-War cultures and pirates existed in canon Equestria.
