It's okay so long that it doesn't become a mayor subject in the story. The story is still about adventures and treasure (all that stuff). 

So the whole great great great grandparent thing should not make out the whole story

Oh good. I was just thinking of it in terms of the blood magic thin as in Jonas being able to use magic on my magic protected items.

 

And just to confirm, by blood magic I mean magic that can only be broken by family members.
