I am in need of all 3DS players around.

So, it's been a month since I have received the 3DS. So far, the games I've played are:

-Pokemon XY and ORAS

-SMT IV
-Persona Q

-Devil Survivor Overclocked.

-AA:DD (via IPhone)

-PLxAA (via Let's Play)

-All Professor Layton, excluding Azran Legacy

My wish list next is Devil Survivor 2 RB which will come out in May.

But, I'm in Spring Break and I need some more games. My initial thought were

-Mario Kart 7

-SSB4

-Fire Emblem Awakening

But, does people still play MK7 and SSB4? Also, is FE:A really worth it?

Also, put some more games you'd recommend.

  • The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
  • Smash Bros
  • Super Mario 3D Land
  • Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Smash Bros is relatively popular but I don't know about MK7.

Mario Golf, Luigi's Mansion 2, and Tomodachi Life are all rather fun as well.

You can't go wrong with any game honestly.

YES, get Fire Emblem Awakening, one of the best games in the series imo. And yes, people still play Smash Bros 4, don't know about Mario Kart 7.

As for game you should get, based on my collection so far:

Super Mario 3D Land

Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D(if you don't have the original/don't like the Motion Controls)

Phoenix Wright Trilogy

Shin Megami Tensei Soul Hackers

SMT Devil Survivor Overclocked

Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millenium Girl

Azure Striker Gunvolt

Shovel Knight

Liberation Maiden

Mighty Switch Force

Mighty Switch Force 2

Ocarina of Time 3D

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate(if you haven't gotten it on the Wii U)

Metal Gear Solid 3D(if you haven't played it yet)

Super Street Fighter 4 3D(if you haven't played it yet)

Of course people still play SSB4! It's the best in the whole franchise in my opinion ;)

A few other games you should try:

Mario and Luigi: Dream Team

Ocarina of Time 3D

Tomodachi Life

Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Super Mario 3D Land

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon

Shovel Knight

Shovel Knight is amazing, get it and you won't regret it. It's $15.00 on the eShop (I got it for $7.00). Okay, I'm done.

As for Mario Kart 7, I've never played it and I don't know much about it. It looks like a good game though.

Hmm...

From the listed ones, I may grab Fire Emblem, Mario-Luigi RPG, SSB4 and Kirby TD and Majora Mask much later on as the VERY FIRST Zelda game I'll play. (1 at a time)

Not gonna get AA trilogy since I've finished it a lot of times, no MH since I suck at it, no Animal Crossing (No Resetti thank you very much) Also, I gues no Mario Kart for me... D:

Thanks guys, I may be grabbing SSB4 ASAP while it's still popular here.

Get the Shantae games. Highly underrated games if you like platform. All Shop unfortunately due to publisher issues. First is insanely hard cause it's really old.

I recommend looking into Pokémon if you haven't already.

And I'm done. Others have already mentioned stuff, or I my treturn when I remember more. H

Aside from the many great games others have already recommended on here, I'd say Kid Icarus: Uprising is a good choice. I didn't personally have any of the notorious problems it's said to come with (hand soreness/cramps), but I played it lying down mostly, not sitting up. Furthermore, I've heard thumb styluses work well with it.

Resident Evil: Revelations (AKA Revelaitons) is another good one if you're into games like that, but it's probably a better idea to pick up one of the ports, as the controls are probably much more comfortable.

Also, is FE:A really worth it?

That depends on how much you enjoyed other Fire Emblem games and whether or not you're expecting it to be like them.  Personally, no, I don't feel like it's worth it, though I was expecting it to be like Fire Emblem 7 (the first in the US).  I could go into intimate detail as to why this is, but you probably don't want to read that.

Keep in mind that I do tend to hold the minority opinion on this matter, so chances are you'll actually enjoy the game.  I just can't honestly recommend it without cautioning you ahead of time.

Fire Emblem: Awakening is by far my favorite 3DS game. I'd also recommend Pokemon X/Y and Alpha/Saphire, if you're into Pokemon. Mario Kart 7 is solid as well.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf is good too, but its a more causal game. Same with Tomodachi Life.

There's also the remade N64 games, which are still good.

(edited)

See the problem with Mario Kart 7 is that it has been out for years now. I kinda doubt people still play this >_>

Mario Kart 7 has the online race feature which was probably used all the time in the year it's released, but that year has passed and I felt it'd be a waste to buy Mario Kart 7 just to play the tournament on Single Player.

Animal crossing will steal your life, when you could be outside socialising and enjoying life, you'll be spending entire days travelling to the island catching beetles and sharks, I know I have. Well, it'll steal you life UNTIL you play Tomodachi Life, valuable time you could be using to pay off your loan to Tom Nook or Funding your next public works project, you'll be spending making friends, writing romantic songs about Jesus Christ and the 11th doctor, Witnessing the miracle of childbirth and playing Tomodachi quest.

A few more games are Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon (I just unlocked online play and never continued the story again), Legend of zelda: Occorina of time 3D or Majora's Mask 3D (Most people recommend MM, but I prefer OOT, Plus MM is new, so you can get OOT at a cheaper price, plus it is first in the N64 seiries of games)

Also, I lost my copy of MK7 last month, but the online matches were still full back then, and I doubt there's much difference now.
