Guitar Hero and Rock Band are published by Activision and EA, respectively. Historically, two of the chillest companies when it comes to gaming commentaries/videos.

 

SME, meanwhile, stands for Sony Music Entertainment.

 

GH and RB are music games that feature copyrighted music.

No, it's Sony Music Entertainment, and they're presumably plothurt over videos containing certain songs.

 

Case in point: thanks to them, every single Rock Band 3 video of Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley is now unavailable.
