gaming Skyrim races/ Classes

I got this random urge to play Skyrim, And i want to create a new character! I want to try a new race and im thinking about Khajiit and going sneak/ Thief...

 

(I have tried all other races under my 600 houres playing Skyrim )

 

Anyway, What is your favorite race and class?

 

My favorite is going redguard and one-handed, Block and Light armor

 

Oh, And an extra question, Do you have a favorite umm... Guild is it called? Mine is The Dark Brotherhood

My favorite race is Argonians. I like Khajiit and Orcs too. 

 

I play sneaky rogue characters in most games, Skyrim included. Thieves Guild is my favorite, as you might expect.

I personally like the dark elves, I don't really have a reason to they just seem like outcasts in skyrim (Yes I know the nords are pretty much racist to everyone else)

 

As for the class I usually either go with the warrior one handed or an archer, I want to be a wizard but skyrim's magic system is built to support a mage's playstyle (if you get what I'm saying).

My favorite kind of play-through in those kinds of games is the oblivious meat-head play-through.  High toughness, high strength, unarmed punching, and rock stupid.

 

Skyrim is particularily fun since they added the unarmed animations when you crit and some of them are suplex throws.  Kahjit works well as they get a unarmed bonus.

@Natah_Pony If you want to be a mage in skyrim you have to like go one handed or something else, And then enter the collage of winterhold as fast as you can, After that you can kind of go semi mage/ One handed with the archmage stuff

Since my OC is a Redguard, I'm going to have to go with Redguards.  As for classes, I'd have to say a mix of mage and warrior.  My oc tends to prefer a one handed wield(typically his trusty ice enchanted sword named Hotarubi) and a restoration spell in the other.  Though he's a good shot with a bow.

Not often, while his idea of the extermination of non-nord/human is admirable, i doubt skyrim could do this alone.

Nah, you need the empire....at least for now.

Khajiit, they look much better as thieves/scouts. Since cats are stealthy(but i guess cause i love cats!)

@, I join the empire all the time, yes I know they have the Aldmeri Dominion who think that all non high elves should be exterminated. But its better than joining an organization that is strictly for exterminating non nords. Also after revolutions there tends to be quite a lot of anarchy for a while which would come as an inconvenience for everyone. (also I don't want to turn this into an argument about which is better, its just my opinion.)

@Natah_Pony I have never really cared for the Stormcloaks or The Empire... I sometimes join niether, I diden't really mean that i join the stormcloaks all the time, I like niether

My favorite race changes once in awhile but as of now I currently like Bretons. I like to play as a Spellsword in light armor, using magic for distance fights and a sword for close combat.

Spellsword and Battlemage are similar but have been seen as seperate classes. I like to think of spellswords as magic/combat with light armor and battlemage as wearing heavy armor and using magic.

My main Skyrim character is a Nord werewolf battlemage.

 

Of course, since he's at level 263 and has every perk available, the classes have become a moot point.

Ever since I first got into the Elder Scrolls series with Morrowind, My favorite species/race is the Khajiit(with the Argonians being 2nd favorite). My favorite class is the Warrior/knight-ish class with emphasis on sword and shield fighting style, which some dabbling in magic and stealth.

 

I have three Khajiit characters currently, all related to each other. If anyone is interested in reading their bios, feel free to PM me.

Currently I'm playing an Altmer (High Elf) and for the class, I decided I wanted to something sorta reminescent of Corvo from Dishonered so I made her wear the mana dragon priest mask, along with Nightingale armor, and wield a crossbow/elven dagger combo.  Her main skills are Archery, Sneak, and Illusian, and her minors are Speech, Lockpick, and one handed.  I also got some perks tword light armor, pickpocket, and alchemy.  I level her 1/2/1

Me personally, I chose to be Khajiit thief/assassin. I've always liked the style of silent assassinations and leaving no trace of my existence. It makes for a more challenging experience. I personally like to use daggers and bows to keep things simple but challenging. I only use full on swords or blades for more up front, in your face, characters. With Khajiits however, feel more comfy being a sneaker. Besides, it put their talent a with sneaking to good use. What I do like about the Khajiit is that the allowance of failure margin with sneaking is a bit wider that it is with other classes. That allows for you to use to the sneaking mechanics of the game easier.
