I honestly am excited to see more of her, and I wish she would appear on the show, but she won't. I love that she finally got her chance to sing in Rainbow Rocks too.

To me, I like how much she's shown in this light, to me it shows that she really cares about her redemption in other peoples' eyes. I can see why it seems like it's beaten over our heads. We know that she's good now, we know that it's honest. But other people at Canterlot High didn't. As much as Sunset Shimmer has done to redeem herself, her time as a raging she-demon is one of those events that's gonna follow her for the rest of her life. Despite all that she's done in redemption, those who hear of her before meeting her are gonna think of her time as said raging she-demon, so she's always gonna have to prove herself in the eyes of others.

I did not get this feeling while watching EQG 2 but I see what you mean. However, I really like Sunset Shimmer so I don't care. She did seem to be the biggest character of the second movie but that is not a bad thing at all.
