What features of some OCs do you really dislike?

I wouldn't say that I dislike any of my OCs features. I LOVE his design!

I just think that I should swap his mane and tail colours sometime, like he should have a black and RED mane, and a black and BLUE tail. Right now, it's the other way around.

Complementary colours, like red/green and blue/yellow. Opposites always look horrible with no third colour to ease the two together. Black and any other colour is also awful. I couldn't really care less about anything else but the colour choices some people make. I wish people would simply use split-complementary, analogous or tetradic colour palettes.

I don't think the problem is being OVERLY tragic. Problem is, dead parents are already too common of a cliche, but that can also be saved by well execution overall (like not being overly angsty, and his traumas surfacing at reasonable levels just to mention a few examples)
