I mostly just wait for a conversation to arise, which is rare. I'm not quite as nosy as some I've found to be. Many times I'll find subjects in which I'd like to contribute, but I am discouraged by the likelihood that my input will be ignored by the rapidly increasing volume of posters on a popular topic. That, or responding to everyone with whom I'd like to reply (or correct) seems like a waste of time. I like to look in threads that are cooling off and maybe start them back up again if i feel like i can contribute to them. I am recently trying to get out of my comfort zone and participate more.
