So randomly browsing through some posts I run into this update from Metal Hammer saying that Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters broke his leg during a concert. Then it states that he goes onto finishing that concert. That shows some amazing dedication to his fans and makes me respect him even more as a musician. I've always loved the Foo Fighters but this right here just makes me even more proud to say I like them. Mad respects to you Dave you're awesome. 

 

Is anyone else here on the forums a fan of the Foo Fighters?

Dave is such a freaking legend. Him doing this made me love the Foo's even more I have so much respect for him, the Foo's are my favourite band. I'm going to see them (hopefully) on Saturday at Wembley Stadium... Please Dave be ok for that. I hope it's not too bad a brake... I guess he'll be learnin' to walk again for a little while :comeatus:

I'm going to see them (hopefully) on Saturday at Wembley Stadium... Please Dave be ok for that. I hope it's not too bad a brake... I guess he'll be learnin' to walk again for a little while

 

My favorite album is There's Nothing Left To Lose by them. I've been wanting to see them live in concert for the longest time now and I hope you get to see them soon. It sucks that happened to him though and hope that his recovery goes over well. Haha that last bit you said in your post made me laugh He will certainly have to learn to Walk again. They are one of those bands though that I pretty much love all their albums.

That's a great album, I'd say it's probably one the most consistent in terms of quality songs. Breakout, Learn to Fly, Generator, so many great hits on one album. If I had to pick a favourite album I'd probably have to go for The Colour and the Shape, but yeah, I agree. I could literally listen to any album and sing along no matter what song it is

That's a great album, I'd say it's probably one the most consistent in terms of quality songs. Breakout, Learn to Fly, Generator, so many great hits on one album. Stacked Actors was probably my favorite song off that album and I agree with you on the consistency. You always know with them when they put out an album your going to get greatness. The Colour and the Shape was my first album I bought by them back in like 2006 and from that point was when I really started liking them.

I'm not a Foo Fighters fan but I've had a bit of respect for Dave Grohl before when he sayed that he is a Voivod (One of my favorite bands of all time) fan, but what he done here was brave and I admire him a bit more for that.

Oh man, that song is a fantastic opener to the album But yeah, I honestly cannot think of a bad song by the Foo's across all of their albums. I think my first album was One By One, I heard All My Life and I was hooked
