How did you find MLP Forums?: Googling, looking for roleplaying sites!


How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: My friend from school, who we'll call... Liam, told me about how he had just finished all the seasons (so far) of his favorite show, I asked him what it was, and it turned out to be MLP:FiM. I didn't believe him at first, but when I got home, I went straight to netflix, and finished the first season within the school week.

To whom this may concern, I'm very new to MLP, as I'm only on season 2, but I plan on changing that, being that I'm a teenager with plenty of time on my hands. After the first few episodes of the show, I grew very interested in the community, music, art, and roleplays... it was overwhelming. And it still IS overwhelming. I'm not good at intros, but my favorite character that's appeared on the show so far, is probably Discord. Hm... not much else to say. I'm hoping to meet tons of new friends, and if anyone wants to ask my questions, talk, or just roleplay, please, contact me on Skype! Thanks, and have a good one, everypony!

Welcome to the forums! I must say, you speak textually very well for a 13-year-old. Even many adults can't be bothered to speak properly. You seem very intelligent and will likely do well in life!

 

I haven't gotten into the roleplay aspect of bronydom, though you will definitely find that here, in addition to artwork and artists. The show is currently in the middle of Season 5, so you'll spend a fair amount of time going through all the episodes. I tend to watch them if I'm too tired/unwilling to work on objectives or strategy gaming, or if I'm acutely distressed and need a distraction I don't need to exert myself to engage in. You generally can't go wrong with the show if all else fails.

 

I wouldn't say Discord is my favorite character overall, but he's certainly delightfully arrogant and cantankerous. I very much liked Q for his extreme bluntness and disregard for humanity's folly, and Discord is quite similar (they're both played by the same actor, in case you have no idea what I'm talking about). The episodes he's in are amongst my favorite generally.
