Bjorg stared at the three ponies a little suspiciously. They didn't look very... trustworthy.

 

"The princesses said nothing of giving us money--" and boy, was that a lot of money-- "Bjorg assumed we were just doing this for free. She trusted us to bring back this great relic because we are all glorious fighters! We can handle ourselves." She glanced at the others. "So, we thank you, but we will take this back on our own." Bjorg finished cheerfully. She had no problem speaking for the others, because she was pretty sure nobody would trust ponies like these.

"I dont care for gold." Awilix started slowy backing off,godess said not to give amulet to no one.So this onces were trouble by Awilix thoughs "I will deliver this to my godess,alone if I have to." Awilix made couple more steps back,making some more distance from this unicorns in front of the group.

Helvard examined the strange ponies with a look of suspicion. They did not look familiar, nor did they seem like the kind of company the rulers of a kingdom would keep.

 

"Who are you?" He demanded, stepping forward and standing to his full height, "I demand your names."

Aurai had her suspicions about the strange ponies in front of them. She took a step forward just like Helvard, looking at the ponies with an angry look. "We were told to not trust anyone besides the princesses, to not give the amulet to anypony. Back off." Aurai said while spreading her wings as threat.

The dark unicorn chuckled and ignored what everypony was saying "Well I was hoping it would be easy but it seems not oh well looks like this is the part where I kill you..."

Chapter 2: The part where he kills you.

As the unicorn said this the four dark ponies stepped forward and got into fighting stances two of them conjured fire balls the other two bought out swords from no where. The unicorn gave them a dark laugh "I'll be sure to send you remains back to the princesses... maybe in the form of a cake. But by any small chance you do survive tell Celestia and Luna Oblivion Darkness said hello." With that the unicorn turned into smoke and that smoke darted away like and arrow.

Oh, yes! They were going to fight! Now Bjorg could show off Bjorg's amazing combat skills.

 

"Coward!" Bjorg called after the smoke, but delight was in her voice. So, not all ponies of Equestria were nice, after all! How wonderful.

 

"Now, I will give you one chance to back down." Bjorg said as she unsheathed her claws. She considered. "Just kidding!" She added, and charged the ponies, aiming to claw a unicorn that was holding a sword's face.

Awilix moved back behaind "If they need this amulet so bad,its best if I dont stay in frst line of battle." Awilix said,and moment later she pulled her spear from her back and looked frst left then right.To see if this four were the onli one,and more importently to see if she is safe.

Helvard did not appreciate the stranger's threat. He began dragging his hoof along the dirt, as if preparing to charge.

 

"We shall have to send this Oblivion Darkness's assassins back to him in a box, yes?" He snarled, reaching beneath his cloak and grabbing the devastating battle axe, brandishing it in his jaw.

Aurai ran after Bjorg while getting her claws, paws and wings ready for battle. She was not suprised when this so called Oblivion suddenly disappeared in smoke, the one at the top doesn't do the dirty work as usual.

 

Aurai flew up before crashing down on top of one of the unicorns. Her claws landing in its head.

It seemed both the griffins were to fast for the unicorns as one had its head crushed and the other had it's torn off. However the other two unicorn began to fight the unicorn with the fireballs began to launch them at the two griffins where as the other unicorn went up in front of Awilix and made a slash at her neck.

As Aurai was trying to dodge the fireballs, she saw the other unicorn went after Awilix. "Helvard! Get to Awilix! Help her, protect her! They cannot get their hoofs on that amulet." She said as she dodged another fireball. Aurai has never liked fighting against magic but it seemed this time she had no choice. She ran towards the unicorn, hoping she wouldn't be hit by a fireball on her way.

Awilix looked at this unicorn coming at her,and in time he was runing at her,Awilix thinked how should she react,atatck or move back onces again.And as unicorn made a slash at her neck,she made choise -move-.She moved and she holded her amulet.to be sure it was still there.Awilix moved a couple of steps back closer to Helvard and others.

Helvard clutched his axe tight in his jaw and used the blade to bat away the fireball coming at him. Fire was never any real problem to his sturdy body, but magical fire was a different matter.

 

However, these strangers had made their move, now it was time for his.

 

Snarling, he charged toward the unicorn, the earth practically vibrating by his thunderous hoofbeats, and began bringing the axe down on his opponent with a mighty roar.

As Aurai ran towards the unicorn one of his fireballs hit her wing but it was not powerful enough to stop her, at this the unicorn stumbled back and almost began crying "Please don't hurt me it isn't my fault he forced me to work for him." Meanwhile Helvard's axe his the other unicorn making him fall to the floor and die.

As the black unicorn thet atacked her falled down and died by the Helvard mighty axe,Awilix had soft smaile and it was like it said thank you.Awilix quick turned her head at one pony thet was begging for mercy and quick said to her teammates "If we let him live,the unicorn thet runed before the battle will just kill him.And by looks of him,he wont give this one quick death." Awilix stil steyed in back,but her smaile was no were to be seen.

Aurai felt a nagging pain in her wing after the fireball had hit her. She quickly walked over to the now crying unicorn while trying to ignore the pain. "Why should I show mercy for someone like you?" She said as she stood above him. "He might have forced you to work for him but that is no excuse. Give me a reason why I should spare your life."

The unicorn fumbled with his hoofs for a second before bringing out a picture with him, a mare and two foals in it "He...He rules are home with an iron hoof and he said anypony who does not obey him they will live but all there family will die and they will lose all their possessions."

"I understand but that is not enough. I'll let you go on one condition. Tell me everything you know about oblivion, what he is planning, who he is. Everything." Aurai said still angry at the unicorn. "I'm gonna tell you, whatever his plan is, is it succeeds, your family will be dead either way."

Awilix looked suprise at Auria as she talked to unicorn.From moment Awilix meet Auria,she never showed this side.Awilix quick shaked her head and said to unicorn "She is right,if we dont know what is happening.We cant tell noting to godess and if she dont know what is happening she cant help." Awilix tryed to sound as kaind as posible so unicorn dont fell in danger,and so he would tell them what is going on.

The Unicorn began to speak once again "Well he plans to..to..to..." Suddenly a kind of beam hits him and the other dead soldiers making them turn into smoke and fly away. Then a tube of smoke appeared and began to laugh "Well you just cant find the staff these days can you honestly if you want a job done right to have to do it your self" The funnel then sped towards Awilix.

Awilix looked at the beam killing the unicorn "Well,looks like I was wrong.He gave him quick death." Awilix look changed as tube startes to spread in her way.She quick looked at her teammates and said,as she moved slowly away from tube "I think we should run now." Awilix moved back quicker,but did not whant to be frst to start runing.

Aurai was in shock at first after the beam hit the unicorn that was laying on the ground. She didn't know how to react until Awilix said something about running. Aurai turned her head, seeing the shadow heading towards Awilix. She quickly started to run, then spread her wings, picking up Awilix with her claws and flew away as fast as she could. "I know you don't like to be touched but I had no other choice."

As Aurai picked up Awilix and flew off the smoke pursued then occasionally blasted purple bolts of lightning at them as at the membbers still of the ground. Also the smoke was catching up to them if they didn't do something quick they would be dead meat.

Awilix closed her eyes as Auria spread her wings and jumped in Awilix way.Awilix scremed as Auria clawes picked up her."I-i-its o-ok." Awilix opened her eyes and looked under her as she speaked "J-J-just we-re are we go-oing?" Awilix relly did not like for some one to toche her,and thet could be seen in her voice as she talked.

"I don't know where we're going. I only know that we gotta get out of here. fast!" Aurai yelled as she flew higher and faster, trying to get away from the shadow that was now firing bolts of lighting at her. She looked down, seeing the others were in trouble as well. She felt like she had to help them but her priority now was getting Awilix and the amulet in safety.
