Awilix looked true the window to see the sun light outside and as she wached the window she said with stil board voice "Do we go awake the others or you guys think they will come down here on there own?"

The small blue griffon walked in with a yawn, following Aria towards the table and seated herself next to the others. "Good morning everyone. You all excited for today's journey to the Everfree?" Cause I'm not.... She laid her head on the table and gave another yawn.

"Morning..." Awilix said to Auria as she emerged,and as she was saying it Awilix looked at Auria and smailed for a moment,and then onces again returned her look to a window on the side of this inn,to look back at a morning sun.'Whay do you shine so bright...no one likes you.' Awilix thinked.

"I did sleep well but *yawn* it just takes some time for me to wake up." Aurai said as she raised her head for a short time before letting it drop down onto the table again. "When will we move towards the everfree?" She mumbled to Helvard and to anyone listing.

"We will move out when everypony is downstairs and ready," Helvard explained, glancing out the window as well, "'tis a fine morning, perfect for adventuring, yes?"

 

He gave his body another stretch, allowing his joints to click and pop satisfyingly, while he waited for the rest of the group to appear.

Crescendo looked at himself in the mirror. He looked himself over to make sure he was presentable, and walked out. He saw that everyone was downstairs, he walked up to the group "Good morning everyone! Had a good night?" Asked Crescendo, carrying a bright smile

Awilix still looking true the window started,she had smalie on her face as she was saying night,but as soon as she started to say next part thet smaile desapired for her face   "...terible morning." Awilix then looked at evryone in the room "So is annyone going to get thet  Crash-whats his name,or are we going to wait on him too?"

Meanwhile, in an unknown location, a creature of pure darkness grins.

"As you command, my leige..." The creature states, bowing it's head of glistening fangs. It's curved, smooth, black horn, which fades to scarlet at the tip, bobs, it's eyes possessing the tell-tale signs of Dark Magic. It's scelera are a bright green, it's irises are cherry, it's pupils are slitted, and purple mist drifts from the corners of it's oculatory glands.

"That Relic is as good as yours..." It turns to a score of undead minions.

"SOLDIERS! ATTENTION! SEARCH AND RETRIEVE! DESTROY ANY IN YOUR WAY! I WANT YOU ALL TO FLANK THIS TIME, CUTTING OFF ESCAPE ROUTES, TARGETING UNICORN'S HORNS, AND PEGASI WINGS! HIT EARTH PONIES IN THE LEGS! AND, FOR SOMBRA'S SAKE, ATTACK IN NUMBERS! OVERWHELM YOUR OPPONENT!"

Crash sort of stumbled along and as he heard his name said poked his head in "What sorry?... Look... um... I don't know if this adventure is really cut out for me. I mean really what is a messenger going to add to the party"

Oblivion smirked "Excellent, no doubt Celestia has sent her little pawns after the relic in the Everfree as well just let them deal with any defences, oh and take this," Oblivion chucked some kind of amulet to his top general "with that you can take control of any pony you come across, if any are unable to be controlled kill them. And let me say again DO NOT ATTACK THE GROUP if the relic is where I think it is then it will be good to have some 'trap disposal experts' is you get my drift. Muhahahahahahaha!"

"Alright, enough waiting around. The more we postpone, the more our, or at least mine, increases when it comes to Everfree forest." Aurai said as she got her self up from her seat, away from the table and towards the door. "Any pony is free to follow me." She said cheerfully as she opened the pub door to the outside. Her smile disappeared quickly and was replaced with a frown when she noticed the sound of thunder and rain coming her way. "Great...."

But in her head this ended diferently '....how will one messanger help defend my?!' She then stened up and looked at evrone onces more "So if this is setled,we should move out." Then she walked next to the Auria thet was at dore of the inn.

"We are more than just 'one messenger'," Helvard corrected, walking out of the tavern with the rest of the group, but not before smiling toward Crash, "You are speedy, and have a good heart. I know you will prove a great part of this group, if you wish to stay.

 

He exited outside, and took a deep breath of fresh air.

"YOU HEARD HIM! TAKE PRISONERS!" Vicious laughter is heard from the jagged mouth, whose voice was almost like silk moments before.

My form encroches on the brooch, taking it to wear upon my horn, it's amulet resting upon my brow, and my form begins to shift, becoming that of a grey stallion, horn remaining the same. A cloak, vest and tie of purple manifest around my form, obscuring a cutie mark.

"I shall depart at once, your Majesty..." I state, bowing. I depart, my eyes becoming azure, and flashing briefly with a shade of changeling.

It was getting late and our team had just reached the castle of the two sisters the only thing that stood between them and it was a rickety old rope bridge and then their quest to find the next relic would begin however what they didn't know was the Oblivion's men were closing in and they had the upper hand.

Helvard looked up at what little of the sky he could see within the dense forest. He could indeed see the dark navy of Luna's night in the sky, meaning they had been wandering in this forest all day.

Had they gotten lost? Or was the forest just this dense?

 

Eventually, the group had approached a cliff, with an old, worn wood-and-rope bridge leading to another cliffside. The bridge did not look sturdy at all, in fact, he began to think that taking a single step would demolish it.

 

But nonetheless, there were always alternatives.

 

"I do not trust this bridge," he spoke up, glancing to the others, "We should not put too much weight on it. Aurai, Crash, perhaps you could fly some of the group to the other side?" He suggested.

Awilix looked at the bridge,thinking about how Helvard said it cant be trusted."My godess would not just cut the ropes under us." Awilix said smaileing "But I think you could be on to something." Awilix looked at Aurai and Crash "So friends,would you help us get acrose?"

Crash looked at the cliff side and his fellow ponies in some dismay. "Yeah, sure, of course. Just um, how much does everyone weigh? I can probably carry the medium too heavy ones... But probably only one. I'm not exactly a heavy weight lifter." he smiled a bit weakly, sure he had carried some heavy loads before, heck he even helped his uncle Top, carry his anvils once in a while, surely none of these ponies were that heavy 

 

"So who wants to go first?"

Awilix started as she relaised thet to cary her acrose some of thos two need to toche her ".... think heavyer should go frst...so...so....so you now have more strenght and you could cary more at this point then later." Awilix made aquard smaile at Crash and Auria and moved one hoove step back.

Aurai managed to walk with the group without making a fool off herself. Instead she had been mostly quiet during their travel apart from her occasional remarks about the spooky and mysterious forest.

 

When they stopped at the cliff she was afraid they had walked for nothing. Luckly Helvard was a clever being than her and came up with a good plan

 

"I'm not that strong but I think I can manage a lighter pony if needed." She said with a shy but assured smile. "So uhm... Awilix.. Arai... who wants to go first?"

"Aria!Aria is going frst!" Awilix yelled without thinking right after Aurai asked a question.Then she looked around and tryed to act normal "A...I mean....well some one who is well trained should stey back and guard this place,if thet dark think comes back.And who is beter then my....right?" Awilix hoped thet this would be inaf and thet she would not need to go in frst round.

"Well Awilix, I actually don't think it's a good idea to take you as last... You are the one wearing the amulet and its safety is our priority. So I suggest Crash takes Helvard first so he can protect you and the amulet once you're there. Then I'll move Aria as well. Sound good?"

Helvard looked down at Awilix with some concern, seeing how reluctant she was to be lifted to the other side. He decided not to argue it, and respected her wish to wait a little longer.

 

He looked to Aurai upon hearing her suggestion to Crash, and he shot a look up at the pegasus. He didn't appear that powerful, but he knew better than to underestimate a member of the group.

"Well, if you feel like you can carry me," He agreed, smiling up at the stallion.

Awilix looked at Aurai like she was ready to kill her because she was right.But shaked her head a moment later and acted like thet look never happened. "Fine..." Awilix started as she knowed she cant get out of this situation this time "...but if you grab my too hard im not going to like it....." but what Awilix relly whanted to say was she would kill Auria if she grabed her too hard.
