Caramel drank the last of her coco as everypony sat down. "So, since we got two new ponies around I thought it was a good idea to explain the plans again." Caramel said as she put her cup down next to her. "As some of ye know, we're going to search for Atlantis. Now I heard from a friend I met in prison that there is some clue inside these caves on how to find Atlantis. So that's why we we're. Anymore questions?"

"A clue to Atlantis exists within this cave eh? If that's true, it will either be engraved in the rock or behind a false wall that is activated by a switch, which in itself will be disguised to look like the natural environment. Something like this is something that a natural eye could never see. If my theories stand strong, I could find such a hiding place in a very short amount of time. And letting me look also saves burning anything for light to keep supplies for a more dire situation. What I'm saying is, that I volunteer to look for this clue you mention. And better if I went at it alone too. Less disturbance to my senses that way."

"No way mister, we're all doing this together. I don't trust ye enough yet and besides, it's more fun that way." Caramel said as she looked at Wade. "For now though, I think it's best we go to sleep. We've had a long day and an exhausting journey. Tomorrow we will start searching for clues."

 

Caramel looked at Aqua for a second, who nearly choked on her coco. It was probably nothing,they all had a long day.

Aqua nearly choked on her hot coco as seen as Caramel mentioned Atlantis. She quickly gulped the rest of the delicious hot coco. Aqua cleared her throat and pretended to be distracted with playing with the seashells that were weaved into her mane.

Scarlett noticed the action Aqua carried out. She knew that look very well, so she silently teleported next to her without a flash. She whispered quietly to Aqua "I saw that Aqua, you know something don't you. Then again, you've spent a long time underwater, yes?"

Caramel looked at Aqua for a second, who nearly choked on her coco. It was probably nothing,they all had a long day.

"Way to ruin my moment." Wade chuckled and starred to walk deeper into the cave. "Well. We'll all gather in the morning and search for clues together then. See you then. Ciao." With a wave of his hoof, he walked deeper into one of the more pitch black sections of the cave. This would be a nice place to sleep for the night. Quiet, secluded and (he pressured) dark enough so that no one can see.

Tyra yelped as she noticed Aqua choking on her hot coco, and she began patting her back in attempt to help her recover.

"Are you well, friend?" She asked with some concern.

She nodded in agreement with Caramel's plan, grinning.

"Very well!" She answered, then tilted her head, "Where do you propose we sleep? Inside the cave?"

"Well you are welcome to sleep outside in the snow and cold wind." Caramel said with a chuckle. "I'm staying here, I assume you brought something like a blanket with you? otherwise I got some spares with me if ye need one." She said as she pointed at her back.

 

"Anyways, I'm gonna go to sleep now. I'm really tired." Caramel said as she gave a big yawn. She grabbed her blanket and walked to Rave. "Mind if I sleep next to you?" Caramel said with a smile.

"Here? This is a most unpleasent place. I must say. But nevertheless..."

He pulled the roll on the topof his pack and opened it. A tent, big enough to fit 4 and 4 pretty small sleeping bags were revealed."

"Bless the army..."

He set up the tent right there in about 1 minute.

"This is a company tent. Made to hold a company of 4. Split in two, 'rooms' if i may call them so. If anyonw so wishes, take your pick."

Aqua whispered back to Scarlett,"I've been underwater for nearly my whole life." She then turned her head to Tyra, who wore a concerned look on her face. "Yes I'm fine, just a slip in the current." She nervously informed her.

 

Aqua bit her lip and then purposely turned her attention to Caramel's plan. She then pulled out a small package from her satchel. She pulled out a folded blanket as well. She unfolded the package and used it to set herself up a tent.

Aqua crawled into her tent, giggling at all the conversations and the happiness flowing inside the cave. It was like a happy and glowing aura they all seemed to share.

 

She set up her blankets neatly, although she knew that they will probably be all messed up by morning.

"Ooh! Can I sleep in one of those?" said Ace, excited by the large size of the tent. He scrambled into it. "Who wants to be roomies with me?" he asked. "I know a bunch of ghost stories! And I have snacks with me!"

Tyra perked up at the tent Lordy had brought with him. It reminded her of the tents her family would use when going on little trips around the frozen wilderness at home.

 

At Ace's proposal to join him, she perked up and raised a hoof with a grin.

"I shall join you!" She squeaked, galloping over and practically bowling into the tent with him.

Rave looked at Caramel who was asking if she could sleep next to him. "Not at all, please, join me" he smiled. He lied down on the floor. He started to look into his saddlebag, but found that he had forgotten his traveling blanket. "Oh dear. Anyone got a spare blanket?".

"No worries Rave. This blanket I have is made for two." Caramel said as she laid down next to him, covering him with a part of her blanket. "Is this good?" Caramel said with a smile as she nuzzles up closes.

"I always have spare supplies. You can never have enough blankets... Nor tea i like to say. He took out a folded grey blanket from his big bag,

"This is why i always carry this thing, you never know when or what you need. Here."

 

He hands the folded blanket to Rave.

 

"Oh, nevermind." He says when caramel says the will share.

 

"Anyone wants one?"

Scarlett sat there watching as everypony lay down to go to sleep. Quietly going to the entrance of the cave, she cast a protective barrier to keep the cold out and generate heat for the inside and wake her up if anyone went in or out. She then pulled out a few planks of wood, attached them to the wall with magic and a door slowly fades into existance.

 

She steps through it into her house. She levitates the supplies into her house and goes to her bedroom and goes to sleep.

Aqua crawled under the blanket and snuggled underneath it. She pulled her satchel into her arms while she lied on her side for a moment. She dug through her satchel and pulled out one of her books and started reading it. She soon drifted into a sleep.

"Great!" said Ace. "Oh, I have a little something for you." He took a hot water bottle out of his bag and gave it to Tyra. "You won't believe the deals they had at the katana store!" he said. "Of course, I totally got suckered into it." He took one out for himself.

 

"Now then, how about a ghost story?"

"Well... Somebody has to stay up for guard duty..." Lordy tells himself. He blows in his gloved hooves and rubs them a bit. He then picks up his musket and pushes the crate he got by the cave wall. He sits down on it and leans his back against the rocky wall, it was cold. He leans the musket against the wall and takes out a small box from his coat. This time it was not tea. It was one of the armies very strong whiskeys that would keep you warm. He took a tiny sip ans placed it in his coat. Then, he just sat there, wayching the entrance.

Rave smiled. "Yes captain, this is very good" he nuzzles closer himself". He then laid his head down, smiling as he was happy to be close to his love again. "Goodnight everypony" he said first, then he looked at Caramel. "Goodnight my captain". He then closed his eyes.

"Goodnight." Caramel said before laying a kiss on his forehead. She smiled as she looked around the cave, seeing her friends laying down peacefully. She gave a nod towards Scarlett before she disappeared through the door, thanking her for the magical barrier, Then Caramel closed her eyes as well, falling asleep instantly.

"So a stallion and a mare were with each other kissing, then the stallion's phone rang. An angry voice yelled, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY DAUGHTER??" The stallion hung up and told the mare about the call. The mare said that her father was dead."

 

"THEN WHO WAS ON THE PHONE???"

 

"Ahh, of course!" Tyra chirped, nodding and snuggling down on the water bottle, "That explains everything!"

 

She listened intently to the story, and gasped at the ending.

"A GHOST!" She yelped, pattering her forehooves on the water bottle excitedly, then blinked, "Wait...what is this 'phone'?"
