Rave looked around, as he was a bit hungry. He did have his own food in his saddlebag, but he saw there were cookies around, others eating. "There don't happen to be any more of those cookies? I still got some healthy, nutritious in my saddlebag that I can eat" he gave a smile.

Caramel looked at the cookies she had left and then looked back at Rave. "Ye can have mine. I'm finished with them anyway." Caramel said as she got up and gave the cookies to Rave. She then walked towards Scarlett. "Say, do you happen to know a magic spell for a torch or something? Cause we're probably going to need some light later."

Rave ate some of the cookies and then listened onto Caramel's question to Scarlett. "We do have a few unicorns here. Can't we just use our horns to light up the way? Otherwise fire spells are one of my specialty, considering it is one of the most used offensive magic spell".

Caramel looked at the cookies she had left and then looked back at Rave. "Ye can have mine. I'm finished with them anyway." Caramel said as she got up and gave the cookies to Rave. "Pretty much every unicorn knows a basic light spell, it's not that hard."

She lit up her horn with her aura and toned the brightness to a suitable level "This good? I could modify everyone's saddlebags to emit small amounts of light if need be"

"Yeah, that sounds alright." Caramel said satisfied. She didn't have much knowledge when it came to magic. How could she have know it was a basic spell? Caramel shrugged it off, grabbing her saddle bag so she could prepare for the journey ahead. She looked at the direction they would go to look for clues. It looked so dark as if there was no end to it.

Aqua had no dreams last night. Or at least she thought she didn't. She couldn't seem to remember. She sat up while still in her tent and opened up her satchel. She took out few shells and seastars and weaved them into her mane. She was humming during the process but she hoped no one could hear. After finishing with her mane, she crawled out of her tent and stretched.

Ace had gotten out of the tent he had slept in the night before, one he had enjoyed spending with his new friend Tyra. He could see Aqua crawling out of hers. "Hi there!" greeted Ace. "Did you sleep well? Was the tent nice? Did you enjoy a good nights sleep? Are you having a nice day?"

Aqua giggled at all the questions Ace had asked her. "Hey there!"Aqua chirped and gave him a friendly smile."Yes, yes, yes, and yes." She chuckled, answering all of the questions he asked her. She stretched out her hind legs and yawned. "Good morning everypony." She yawned with a shy smile following.

Tyra finished the cookies she pilfered from Scarlett and wiped the crumbs off her face, feeling a lot more refreshed.

 

She spotted Ace and Aqua waking up, and grinned as she trotted over to greet them.

"Good morning, friends!" She chirped, much more awake now, "How did you both sleep?"

"Morning tides Tyra!" Aqua beamed with delight. She also felt much more awake. "I slept just swimmingly!" Aqua said with a wide grin. She was about to hum with glee but she cleared her throat as if to stifle any humming she might have done. A faint pink blush heated Aqua's cheeks.

"Goodmorning Aqua." Caramel said with a cheer while going through her bag. "Are ye ready for the adventure today?" Caramel said pointing at deep and dark side of the cave. "Cause I am. I'm very excited." Caramel said as she continued to search through her bag.

"May the best of morning tides flow in your direction." Aqua greeted Caramel with a friendly smile. Aqua's head turned to look at the dark side of the cave and she grinned. "You bet your gills I'm ready!" Aqua beamed while she adjusted her bag and made sure she had everything. "This is going to be so splashing exciting!" Aqua agreed with Caramel.

Wade turned around to look back inside the cave, he became curious to just how much the others around him could see. He took a few steps into the cave and stood next to the tent, looking deeper into the cave. "Hey, Aqua? How far into the cave can you actually see before it becomes too dark for you?"

Tyra grinned widely at Aqua's happiness, being reminded much of herself when she matched the wide green on the seapony's face.

She tilted her head when she stopped herself from humming. "Why do you stop when there is nopony telling you to?" She asked, grin unwavering.

Caramel rubbed her hoof down her neck out of frustration. She closed her bag and put in on her back. She turned around so she was facing the others. "Alright, lets get going mates. Time to head into the deepest and darkest part of the cave." Caramel said, ready for some adventure.

Aqua shook her head at Tyra, blushing. "I was not humming!" She denied, still shaking her head. Aqua looked at Caramel, who had just told them that they will now be setting off.

 

Aqua closed up her bag again and slung it over her shoulder. "All right! I'm ready." Aqua informed her.

He walked over to the sleeping pony and flicked him on the forehead. "Oi, sleepy head? Wake up, we're moving into the cave now and you're not getting left behind." He took a few steps back to give the guy some room as he woke up, while also taking one last survey of the cave.

 

"It's Pitch Black up ahead isn't it? Lucky us we have plenty of Unicorns to keep a luminosity spell active. Vision won't be an issue, but we have no idea what it is we are looking for do we? So, just keep an eye out for anything that may look like it was not part of the natural formation or any items we might tred across?"

(Finally... Waiting for this for about 3hrs... Thought i was forgotten)

 

Lordy suddenly wakes up. Within seconds he is on his feet in a straight position saluting,

"Yes sir! General! Sir!"

After another moment of just staying there he realizes where he is.

"Oh, my good sir. Thank you for waling me up. I must say... I was never good at staying awake all night."

He walks to the tent, pulls a string and the whole thing collapse. He rolls it up, places it on his backpack. Gathers his stuff, attaches his musket to his right and straightens his shako. His lower jaw felt paralyzed due to him staying face down in the snow.

"Ready to move, as always!"

Rave was standing ready, having finished eating some cookies. He had fastened his saddlebag on him and checked if he did not have all his stuff in it. Indeed it was, so he had nothing to worry about in that regard. "I am ready to go" he gave an assured smile.

Tyra snickered at Aqua's insistence, and decided to accept it with a nod.

"Very well then," She agreed, smirking knowingly at her.

She nodded at Caramel's instructions, and hopped in place a few times before trotting forward with the others.

"TO THE CAVE!" She yelled, which reverberated a few times in the dark depth.

Scarlett packed up her wood quite quickly and put it in her Saddlebag. She shouted to everyone "Hey, if any of you don't need anything that you've got with you pass it over here and I'll quickly teleport it home before we get too deep inside the caves alright?"

Aqua blushed more and shook her head again. She then trotted alongside Tyra to father into the cave with her. Aqua wore a smile that showed she was ready and excited for this new adventure she would begin. Aqua giggled at how Tyra's voice echoed through the cave.
