It'll take a while to get to Thursday. At the rate we're going, it might take several days for each class period. What I suggest to you and all other teachers is to maybe make a student OC as well so you don't die of boredom.

 

Anyway, a note to everyone:

I got pretty sick last night and I'm sick today, so I won't be on. Additionally, I am going to a friend's place for the weekend. After that I will be going to camp for a week. Basically, from now until the 9th I will not be on.

This is problematic because I made the OOC page, so if you guys want to check the cast list, you will have to scroll down to Rolle's post under mine. He will be updating everything while I am gone.

We still have second and third year students which SHOULD have a class. That means you should have a class filled with NPCs that either one of the GMs controls or you yourself. Or you could do the advice and see if you can get a student aswell.

Ok sorry if I'm bombarding you with idea's but I had an interesting idea how to keep everyone entertained. We have a lot of students, so many that some people may get overshadowed or simply get lost among the numbers we have. Plus we have a decent amount of teachers.

In a real school there are more classes, that rotate in and out of different teachers at different times. What if we cut up the students into maybe two different classes (You could do this by asking the characters to sigh up for different classes, that way we could be with ponies we get along with or roleplay with well, with so many characters we have so many different stories going on and this might give us a way to flush them out a bit more). Plus this way those who are playing teachers will have more chances to roleplay and be entertained. I'm willing to make a schedule if you need me too, also do you need any teachers?

There's kinda a very bad imbalance going on. Like the fact that there's 3 experimental engeineering, and only 1 biology and 1 anatomy. Can someone please explain to me how that works? Edited July 30, 2015 by Star-Lord

-So now you're the one's to decide that? So you don't think that understanding our own bodies, or the life and nature around us is important? Now that my friend, is complete BS. I'll argue into the ground that you need ATLEAST biology more than once a week for a high school diploma, that or chemistry, geoscience, or physics.

 

-And a science you could potentially use to make nuclear bombs or weapons isn't harmful? Besides, technology in canon Equestria is extremely questionable. The fact that nature and ponies alone exist is enough for biology and anatomy. Think of all the odd creatures out there in the Everfree, and how interesting they are. You mean to tell me that it isn't the least bit important? That's biology. Anatomy is understanding the muscles, bones, and how the body is constructed. Understood, you could call it extracurricular, but I'm pretty sure experimental design is very much the same. 

 

And harming creatures? My god, you really think a majority of biologists hurt creatures? You're joking. Biologists strive to understand nature better so we can protect it. Another thing I'll argue into the ground, because calling biologists aggressive people is complete and utter BS.

 

Let's look up what Experimental Engineering is. Ah ha! Here's what the University of Iowa defines it as in a course description:

 

 

How THAT is useful Equestria, I do not know. I'm not going to argue the course is useless, but it shouldn't be the most important science course. You could argue that none of them are more important than the other. That's why I asked why it can't be more BALANCED.

 

 

-Uh... You don't want to be fair. Hmm, okay... So then you don't care about how people feel? You don't care if they feel like they are being treated unfairly, and that other roleplayers are getting more roleplay time/attention then others are? If you've ever ran a RP before, then that's a huge no-no. Your purpose as a GM is to make the roleplay run as smoothely as possible, while being the most fair. As well as I'm aware, you have multible GMs now, don't you? I'd hope that would be to make the RP more democratic and fair, and if not, I can go back to the old OOC and grab the times people said they wanted it to be more fair/democratic via more GMs. 

 

You should worry more about how balanced the RP is, rather than what classes you deem more important than the other. Anyone can prove how useful one class is to another. It's almost like politics that we can go on about for hours. So why not just make them all equal?

(Also i dont really see alot of high tech medicinal instruments in Equestria. Only magic, which heals or makes the person heal faster that doesnt need pinpoint accuracy)

Seeing as people tend to never read or try to understand what I'm saying, but instead call me a whining baby, I doubt the opinions will be in my favor. That and the fact that it only effects 2 people, and there's a chance that the voters won't give a crap about balance because they are either students, or their teachers with a majority of the science slots.

I have a much more technical, rather than miraculous understanding of magic. I.E. one has to know what one is doing in order to affect the world constructively. Call it a mechanism for avoiding Mary Sues, given that I write fanfiction. If the world has rules that have to make sense, the the characters have to as well.

 

If a doctor's going to be setting my bones with magic, they have to know what a bone is supposed to be shaped like as they feel about in my innards, and avoid rubbing a jagged edge over a major artery.

When did I ever say I was having a bad day? I'm just proving all the stuff your saying is wrong. I'd hate to say this, it'll probably make me seem arrogant, but I've ran a lot of RPs for a couple of years now. I know what I'm talking about, and not caring what people think or treating them unfairly by not giving them a chance to RP is the worst way to be. It just makes you a bad GM and quite frankly... A Jerk.
