I'm sure chi blocking was passed down, so it wouldn't be out of the question for some one who hates benders to learn it and start training equalists.

I think its worth mentioning that Koh: the face stealer may have been the spirit that gave Amon his abilities. It makes sense since he would then wear a mask to hide his facelessness. Also, what appears to be Koh's real face is a female Noh mask. Amon's mask is a male Noh mask

I was too busy raging about the most badass character in the series losing her bending >_<

 

 

Is anybody else pissed about the blasphemous portrayal of Toph in the series so far? We've only seen her once, and she went down like a total chump. Young Toph would've just stomped and launched that bitch through the ceiling. But no, she had to use metal and got bloodbent like a punk

That really does bug me. Metalbending, I can kind of see so many people using, but still, don't you have to be really in tune with earth to be able to bend the small amount in metal effectively?

 

But lightning was always only for the top notch firebenders. Now people throw it around like it's nothing. And it used to be a OHKO, too

I haven't been watching frequently, but I really love the show. To be honest though, I liked the first series, The Last Airbender better. Yet I still like Korra.

I'm a little confused of the quality of the cars in the legend of korra. I understand that they would have them but they should be slower, louder, less practical, and more expesive (thus less common) and there shouldn't even be motorcycles at all

Well Korra gave everyone's bending back anyway. Just as everyone predicted.

The last 5 minutes was SO rushed, I thought that the first half of season 2 would be about her getting bending back, while fighting the new villain. I also hoped that would happen, because I knew that any way she got earth, fire, and water bending back would be rushed and cheesy.

 

However, the other 40 minutes (half hour episodes are always 23 minutes, right?) were awesome. Even though almost everyone thought/knew Amon was related to Yakone/Tarlok, it was done well. And his death (he did die, right?) was unexpected. I have high hopes for season 2, hopefully it'll be a full season that is not rushed like S1.

I felt that the ending was fairly predictable but it does raise the question of what will be done to carry on The Legend of Korra?

I completely agree, the plot was practically already written out on the internet weeks prior. But now we need to wonder what will happen in season to. The main antagonists are dead or defeated so what's going to happen? I think we can expect some more pro bending for sure but what besides that?

I liked the finale pretty much, but then, I've been liking the series quite a bit. I may probably be one of the only people who likes this better than the original (Toph was what I liked better in the original) So much, that I'm going to rewatch it.

 

Everything seemed to happen pretty fast, but remember they had only twelve episodes to work with; had there been more, I'm sure we could've had deeper looks into everything.

 

That said, I wonder what will be their next step. The "Element" book thing can't be as straightforwards as it was in the original series. But I have hope in them, it has always been quite a good story.
