Thanks man I simply love that place to death & I would kill to be able to move over there someday! I want to go back so bad too

 

Although I went the summer in 2011 :/ I want to (live) there haha!

ummm I dunno I don't think is a good idea, It's cool if you have a house there, but if you completely move out, I dunno ...I'm pretty sure you know Rene from Calle 13, he's always against the politics measures of Puerto Rico, and he shows it through his music, better stay where you are now and grow professionaly and go to PR when you want to go on vacations

I know what your saying the crime and everything in Puerto Rico is terrible. Just a few weeks ago one of my good friends that lived across my grandmothers house. His brother was shot by a drive-by in front of my grandparents... My uncle had just helped him pull his car into his garage and when my uncle went inside my grandparents house, the shooting happened. Sadly the island covered in drug mafias etc.. stuff like that. Even in my mom's side of the family, my aunt and some of my cousins parents have sold drugs for quick money. It has affected our family and we no longer have any contact with them whatsoever...

 

Aside from that Puerto Rico is beautiful but it really saddens me that it has so much crime etc... there was not a day when I was down there where I heard a shooting or heard on the news that someone was killed due to a shooting. When I was real little I was with my grandmother down there and they assualted her right in front of me. Thank god they did not do anything besides take her purse though... You are right and I actually have tried to tell them to come live with us here in the states and they are actually considering it.

 

I have mixed feelings though a part of me wants to be there and then the other part knows it is for the better to stay where I am at.

whelp! that's really though..

I'm sorry your family has to go through the violence that is in PR, up close.

but there is violence is in every country, there is a dead in every country, every day. so yeah.

My humble advice, is that you should stay where you at. You may feel homesick but at least you are "safe"

All the islands in the West Indies are having a difficult time with crime. Quite upsetting, a person from Trinidad is disgusted by the crime in Trinidad and Tobago. Even in St. Kitts, I've lost a cousin who has lived there with her 1 year old child. We are blessed that the baby had survived at the very least.
