Do we sometimes give the writers of the show, too much of a hard time?

I remember back to a video a while ago (I think it was by DigiBro) called something on the lines of "Is over-analysis ruining the show?"

I think that every fandom and show needs a critic from a professional angle, and from the angle of the fan. Of course, part of analysing and criticising is looking at who wrote the episode in question, and comparing with their other works, but sometimes yes, I do agree that some people give the writers a bit of a hard time. (Some) people will go in depth with their research but (some) don't go to the extent of reaching out and grabbing information from other shows the writers have been involved in, and only stick to the show in question. I feel annoyed when people don't justify their own points, like when they take a dig at a writer for example, usually I don't see anything saying about the good things they have done... I don't know what else to write... umm...
