gaming Warframe VS Destiny

They are both great games, if Destiny was available on PC then I would say that Destiny is better...

I used to play Destiny quite a bit on Xbox, I think I got my guardian up to level 13 or something...

And then I just got lazy, I didn't want to keep on going all the way down to the living room, turning the Xbox on and waiting for the game to start, and then my siblings would want to have a go about an hour after I've started.

so yea...

I love warframe, I play it on PC in my bedroom with my door shut so nobody can bother me, and I'm just used to a PC. To me it's just like destiny, it's just...you can perform ninja-like moves and cast spells that are far more epic, the only let down that warframe has against Destiny is the graphics...Destiny looks beautiful I have to say, I really like that in a game.

So yea I guess Warframe is one of my favourites nowadays, if I was already a level 40 on Destiny then I think I would play Destiny over Warframe, because there is so much more to do and yea...

(I also start to get bored of mainstream games like Destiny after a while...I don't know why)

I haven't actually played Destiny yet. But I have played Warframe, and it is awesome. I always run around with my Nekros (Immortal Skin) and get headshots with my Rakta Cernos. Because that is truly the best wep in-game. At least in my opinion.. But I'm biased towards bows because if there's a bow in a game, I'm going to get it and use it no matter what...

Hmm, looks like Warframe's winnin'. Wonder if the brohoof easter egg has anything to do with that? Since a simple nod to this fandom in any game must mean we have to love it, right? No? Oh, then I don't know what might make Warframe so popular, other than awesome graphics, excellent music, unique movement system and....ORDIS' DANK MEMES

The problem with Destiny is that it can be tedious and repetitive when grinding light levels. Max cap is 34, but you can be 40 if you have TTK DLC, which really halts progression if you don't have it. Why they did this, I have no idea. Weapon balance, server issues, and a lacking social interface are major issues that need most work.

Warframe. Mainly because Destiny just feels like a constant slap to the face of gaming itself. That game is...horrendous. The DLC nonsense, the absolutely horrendous first year, the dull gameplay, all of it feels soulless. The game could have been amazing too, but Activision ripped it to shreds because of greed. Warframe is not all that good either in my opinion, but it is worlds beyond Destiny.

What's the major problems with Warframe, Kyoshi?

What's the major problems with Warframe, Kyoshi?

I need to play it again, but my main issues with that game are the sometimes wonky gameplay, the really odd systems that are poorly explained, and the really odd story, but I will give it credit for actually having a unique story, unlike Destiny.

I need to play Warframe more, haven't played it in a while and I have heard it has been improved a lot. All for free too.

Bungie and Activision are like "Oh, you want drastic improvements? Well, give us $40 please! We know you have already payed $100 for the game and the first two 'expansions', but that just isn't enough, cough it up."

It looks more they they are not selling too well, and these were moves out of desperation. I think they know about the problems, they just refuse to face them. People have said otherwise and called me an autistic idiot for doing so.

Actually, Bungie and Acti made up the money for the budget of Destiny in just the first week of sales. Yet they still find it necessary to continue price gouging and cutting content out of the game.

I will take a quote from someone who said almost the same thing:

"Should Destiny succeed at the seemingly insurmountable task set before it, it would only serve as active encouragement to other publishers and developers, forcing high-budget projects of this kind with hundreds of millions of dollars worth of investment — and for what; another persistent open world with guns and customisation that isn’t called Borderlands The MMO? — and a sales requirement that requires not just insane amounts of marketing (something that required an entire column of its own) but also copious amounts of post-release support and downloadable content and absolutely anything else that can suck more money from gamers to justify the ridiculously high cost of production."

Warframe is an interesting experiment.

It's a bit like Minecraft in that it released before it was completed, but it's always been free, with microtransactions mainly existing just to speed up timers.

The core game (the combat) was there at release, and they've been adding and polishing it since. In some ways it's like an early access, but I would say the main difference is that it's free and the combat grind is pretty much the total experience.

The main point of Warframe is just to be a cool space ninja, and that's always been there.
