A kiddies pool... Selene just referred to the most advanced piece of technology in this timeline as a metal kiddies pool. Well. That's new. "By a kiddies pool shall I assume you mean the stargate? Big round metal thing. Often filled with what people like to refer to as the puddle."

"S-sss... Star gate? But that wasn't a gate! And there weren't any stars! Why would you guys call it a stargate?~" She giggles.

 

"You guys are funny!~ That was a lot more water than a puddle!~ I could have swum around in that, if it wasn't all weird and magicky!~"

 

"Pfft! Puddle. Hehe." That's funny right there.

 

 

Aww, she's kinda cute, in a rare creature sort of way. "Yeah, no more hiding. Don't worry, you're safe with us." He holstered his pistol. "Now, follow us. We'll find you some food, right Scarlett?" Lightning looked at Scarlett, his face asking her to answer.

 

"Food!~" Selene's skin turns a bright, excited yellow, and her eyes turn the same color, looking a bit more golden, reflecting the light in a beautiful, crystalline way.

Sapphire and Mentis arrive at the gate room at similar times, Sapphire looks around. "Oh come to the gate room it's important, and she not bucking here!" That gun is still there you want to end it? You be quiet! Sapphire walked further in to find Crystal and Flame @,

Mentis sat near the entrance he had not really meet many of the others so he sat sketching taking notes he always found things to do just he'd like to talk to someone.

Crystal hugged him some more and looked to Scarlett and Lightning exchanging words.

 

Mentis woke to some odd noise but got up and started back to the gate room he was blissfully unaware that getting on this ship may of been a fatal mistake...

 

Sapphire heard her radio set go off. "Oh what now?"...she picked up the radio.

"Can't ponies sleep?"

Flame smiled, He welcomed the heartfelt embrace warmly and squeezed Crystal tightly and affectionately.

 

"You just love rubbing up against me don't you? Well I don't mind one bit." Flame chuckled vaguely, rubbing his muzzle in the crystal pony's mane.

 

Diamond shook her head.

 

"Well I hope you to lovebird's enjoy each other, I'm gonna go throw up now."

"Sorry Diamond I don't like making you feel weird, we are not doing much I mean it's just a cuddle, you cuddle your brother abet for different reasons but still." She liked having someone who  cared about her again, why not a nice young thing that could fly?

"Uh... Anywaayys... You said for everyone to come to the gateroom? And the gateroom is the big room with the stargate in it?" Selene's tail wags a bit as she looks at Lightning, the movement of the "fan" at the tip of her tail providing a pleasant breeze for Scarlett.

With Sapphire and Flame now both being in the Gateroom, Specter could finally get underway with the task he was set. He was approaching the two, but much to his slight inconvenience Lightning had attempted to strike up a conversation with them. Now was really not the time for such things though.

 

"Lightning, I understand you want to talk with these two and under any other circumstances I would be fine for you to do just that. But under the current situation that I'm sure you are fully aware of by now, I must interject. Sapphire, Flame. I need to speak with you both in private. Believe me when I say, you're not going to like it, but it's important non the less."

 

 

After an unknown amount of time spent wondering aimlessly down corridors and generally wasting his time for no good reason. Mel returned to the Gateroom to find everyone back in it. He had a feeling this might happen with the whole, about to crash into a Star thing. He sat down in the room with his back against one of the walls. Waiting for someone to explain a plan. Any plan.

God she's kinda cute when she does that, and that breeze. Lovely. "Yes, the gateroom is the big room with the gate in it. A simple name but it makes sense."

 

"That's the one! Now, follow us. We'll find you some food there as well." Lightning gestured for Scarlett to follow as he made his way to the gateroom, with Selene in tow. As he entered the gateroom, he noticed that many, if not all of the ponies on board were present, including Flame, Crystal, and the love of his life, Sapphire. He turned to Selene. "Stay back. I've no clue how everypony will react to seeing a random Vashti on board. I'll be right back."

 

Oh sure, let's just take a creature that nobody has seen before and suddenly introduce it into the populace right before I give everyone a death sentence. I kept Selene out the room and gently motioned for Lightning to come out again into the corridor and said "We should keep her back for now. We don't need added panic." I turned to the Vashti and continued "You can hide in plain sight right? Still see and hear what we're doing, but don't get discovered. I'll speak to you and get you some food after this, all right?"

As soon as you turn back to look at her, her skin changes into a pattern nearly identical with the room itself, leaving nothing but floating eyes, which soon wink out of existence when she closes them. You hear muffled footsteps coming from her as she approaches the gate room.

 

I'm so cool!~ I'm being SOO good for these guys, I'm sure they'll be happy with how well I follow directions!~ Hehehe~

With everything going on, Solar figured Scarlett and the rest of the crew had everything covered, so she just stood there in the gateroom with Amber until somepony gave them something to do.

 

She kept her eyes on her marefriend, knowing she was shaky after what will hopefully be her last hit of morphine.

"Hey, babe," she said quietly into Amber's ear, "You holding up okay?"

I thought to myself as I walked into the room. turning my head to where I was heading, I walked up the stairs to the balcony and stopped next to Amber and Solar. I turned to face over the balcony as everyone was talking below. "Excuse me!" I shouted, hoping to get all their attention.

"Well the heat might've had something to do with that," Solar guessed with a shrug, and she planted a kiss on Amber's cheek, "That's not going to happen again. We're gonna get that crap out of your system, I promise."

"Sweet Celestia, we are a pair...I imagine the rest of the crew must be sick of us by now." Amber giggled, sticking her tongue out at Solar. "But you're still cute, and I still love you to pieces, so it's all good." She leaned in close, wrapping her in a tight hug. "Thank you for sticking with me. No doubt most mares would've just left me by now..."

Flame puffed his chest up in sly pride, beaming at crystal he wiped some dirty off his wings and started to speak.

 

"Well, you that's impossible for me Crystal. even if I could, why would I?" He chuckled, putting a hoof over Bass.

Just as Flame heard Specter's voice inject himself  into Flame's ears, The smile was wiped off his face. Slowly he turned around glowering he answered the stalion.

 

"What do want now, still trying overthrow everyone?"

  "If they got a problem with us they can shove it," Solar smirked, sticking her tongue out as well, "But you're cuter, and don't even try denying it because you know it's true." She gave her marefriend a cheeky wink.   She smiled and returned the hug, nuzzling her cheek against Amber's. "Well, I'm not most mares."

 

"I know you're not most mares. I doubt most mares meet by having one pointing a gun at the other." Amber giggled softly, remembering how they originally met. Quite a different relationship back then to the one that existed now for certain. "I just hope you don't get bored of me. Although, if we do end up flying into the star, I doubt that'll be much of a problem..."

Specter turned from the two towards a corridor leading away from the gate room. He stopped a short ways down in front of a now empty room. He gave one last look back to the two, making sure they are indeed following him.
