new magic in season 6(do you want it, and what would it be?)

in season 5 we heard twilight talk about eastern equestria magic as being different than the magic she learned. would you wanna see twily learn this new magic in season 6 and if so, what kind of magic should it be. here are some ideas.

 

RUNES! runes are mainly used for enchanting items but can be used for most all purposes. this could be a more dark and brutal magic than we have seen in the show, but im sure the writers could make it suitable for children. runes were not only used for enchanting, they could be used in battle as well. Vikings would use runes and meditation to enter a berserker rage where they were practically invulnerable, this magic could be used for good or evil in the show. who wants to see some berserk ponies!

 

EGYPTIAN MAGIC! who wouldn't wanna see some mummified ponies and a sphinx or two! though Egyptian magic is a lot like equestrian magic it has some differences, most notably its deep rooting in the afterlife. zombies and mummies could be introduced to the show with this magic.

 

DJINN! sandstorms and alchemy, Arabian magic would be awesome. this magic would revolve a lot around alchemy, like what zecora does. we could also see some djinn ponies.

 

ORIENTAL MAGIC! dragons and chi. i know it may seem funny to see our favourite ponies karate hoofing bad guys butthis magic would actually be a great fit for the show. as equestrian magic is very scientific oriental magic is more about feeling and going with the flow. everypony was kung fu fighting!
