" You see, this Paintbrush makes the things that I draw come to life, but it will fail if the thing I'm drawing on has some kind of defect, like dirt, and also it only works on white spots, plus just spray some water at the alive drawing and it will die." he says

 

" That Parasprite, that I personally nicknamed as Papersprite, is one of the alive drawings. I PROMISE I won't do anything wrong with it!" Musical says, refering to the Paintbrush

 

" Also, I belive that the Paintbrush on my Cutie Mark is it. So yeah, its part of me. Literally."

Shadow let go of the wing and said as he smiled,

"There, wasn't that hard?"

He picked up the spider and placed it back into the portal.

 

Feeder walked up to them and said to Musical,

"Sorry about Shadow, he means well, but sometimes doesn't know how to show it. You know you could have told me, I wasn't going to hold it against you, just try to be careful."

" Also, I would prefer if you all kept this between we 3. Some faces of certain students doesn't really look...trustable, to say at least. Plus, if they get their hands on this...they could draw a dragon or even worse and bring it to life!" Musical says

 

" Soo, who are you? I'm Sweet Blossom." the Earth Pony tells the Unicorn

 

" I'm Heartbreaking Matter, but you can just call me Heart." Heart says

 

" Soo, whats this classroom about?"

 

"Enchanceting, I guess. I don't know about you, but I'm really hyped!"

 

" I'm not sure if our Earth Connection is counted as magic. Problably..."

"No, I just opened a portal to her cage and besides, ya don't need to breathe, eat, or anything in the portal, you can spend the rest of your life in there without food or water. What did you think I was a killer or something? Anyway, head back to class."

"Hmm?" Musical sits with Heart and Blossom

 

" We're talking about how you got yelled at just because you was grabbing a Parasprite" she says, giggling

 

" Not really, there's...more to that Parasprite. By the way, I'm Musical Strokes."

 

" More, eh I'm Heartbreaking Matter, but call me Heart."

Second Sight wheeled a cart into the classroom and closed the door behind him. He set his hat on the tablet and adjusted some switches on the teacher's table.

 

As he fiddled with the controls, the classroom's lights flickered on. Small magical circles lit up on the tables before disappearing, a little hum coming with the display.

 

Satisfied, Second Sight turned to face the class. Clearing his throat he addressed them.

 

"Welcome new students of Canterlot University. I am Second Sight, and I will be teaching you enchanting. Good morning."

Travelture rolled off the cloud and landed on the floor, he quickly pushed the cloud out the window and crawled to a seat at one of the tables. Trying not to bring attention to himself.

 

Shadow headed  back outside and started gathering the creature that were roaming around

Flearia looked back to the two ponys instantly bombarding the teacher with questions. she facehoofed herself and mumbled so low it was unhearable to ponys not sitting right next to her, and they themself would only hear it as strange noice. "Isn't it public knowlendge anymore? That every race use magic and not only unicorns?" She lowered down her hoof from her face before she pointed her concentration to her companion. 'I guess they wanted to get things out now instead of waiting for the acctual magic class'

 

Her attention had now turned to a blue pegasus at an other table. Somehow his magic aura was familiar. and his athletic features was looking the same as one specific white unicorn from this morning. 'Yea, He's defenetly a changeling! Kinda cute too' She tought as she gave him a glance with her eyes.

summer looked at her friend when she facehooved herself and giggled. summer was kind of surprised that such a thing got her frustrated and now she was kind of scared to tell that she didn't know that either. it was actually a rather uncomfortable thougth, that there was magic flowing through herself.

then summer saw flearia looking at a blue pagasus, sitting on an other table. there was something in flearia's look that made summer giggle 'what are you thiiiinking' summer said and poked her a bit.

summer saw flearia looking at a blue pagasus, sitting on an other table. there was something in flearia's look that made summer giggle 'what are you thiiiinking' summer said and poked her a bit.

 

 

Flearia's cheeks made a slight blushing when Summer asked her about what she was thinking about when she gave the blue pegasus, Changeling... a slight look with her eyes. "N-nothing! Nothing at all." It was an obvious lie as she quickly took her eyes of the blue pegasi. "I didn't hink anything. Nothing about magic any magic aura..." 'Geeezee! What's with me! Can't go developing crushes on the first day of school!' She tought just as Irra was about to leave her head and move towards the table where the pegasi was. "No you don't! You stay put!" She scolded her companion with a low voice as to not get cought messing up class. Irra tough made a small emitting light and transformed into a miniature wolf and leaped up into Flearia's lap instead. wagging her tail while Flearia keept a small blush of embaresment.

Crystal lent forward she was keen to learn she maybe a music major it did not however stop her from wanting to soak up all she was here to learn after all. She was in the same boat as the others wondering about how the non unicorns were going to actually do anything in this class however. She looked over to @, Flearia facehoofing at the others questions, she was not too happy about seeing that. Typical unicorns think less of us magical users. She refocused on the teacher.

"Well, technically..." Second Sight raised a hoof, paused, and continued.  "Those are known as passive magics. Think of it as a spell that's always turned on. The difference between this and enCHANTments is that enchantments are cast on another pony."

Second Sight gave a sideways look at the pony. "I don't blame you for that. Back when I was your age, I thought the same." he glared. "But now that you know, please refrain from thinking lowly of your peers"

 

Second Sight turned to the board. "Flearia, please keep your familiar in check." he commented, writing down the word 'Enchantment' on the board with his claw. "Now, can anypony-" his mind flashed back to the changeling he saw back at the hall. He sighed. "Anybody tell me what an enchantment is?"

summer wanted to burst out and laugh really loud because her friend had allready a chrush on somepony, but she didn't. summer was not that kind of pony that would go around and tell everypony that somepony had a chrush on somepony else. 'don't worry, I won't tell anypony' summer said to her. then her eyes fell on the magical creature that was with flearia all the time. 'what is that' summer then asked flearia, and she pointed to the little magical wolf thing on flearias lap.

Crystal raised her hoof. "Um did you not just say that there..." looking at the board. "Mr Sight, I mean am I wrong or is that a trick question so see if...someone? Was paying attention." She was now a little confused by herself. Was it a trick question? She shook her head and waited to be made a fool of probably.

"S-sorry Prof. It won't happen again." She replyed with an ashamed voice and highly blushing as she hold down Irra with her hoof.

 

 

 

then her eyes fell on the magical creature that was with flearia all the time. 'what is that' summer then asked flearia, and she pointed to the little magical wolf thing on flearias lap.

 

 

"She! Not a that. And she is a Fire spirit, essence, who have bounded itself with me when I was a filly." She said with low voice before looking to the prof again. "I'll tell you more during resces or at lunch. I'v kinda gotten into enough troble already on my first day."

 

 

 

"Now, can anypony-" his mind flashed back to the changeling he saw back at the hall. He sighed. "Anybody tell me what an enchantment is?"

 

 

Flearia quickly putt up a hoof in the air to answer the question but was not able to answer yet as the crystal pony also had rised her hoof.

Crystal sunk in her seat her face red a little partially from getting the answer wrong and a little anger. You just wait to another class were you can't use you damn magic, you just wait...

"An enchantment is a spell cast on an object to give it magical properties that it didn't originaly have. An enchantment can be, like conjuring magic, both temporary and permanent depending on the amount of magic that is put into the spell." She answered directly after the crystal pony.

 

 

Second Sight nodded. "By definition, you are correct. An enchantment is a spell that is cast on an object to give it new properties, ranging from simply giving off light to casting it's own fireball spells, depending on the enchantment's spell matrix."

He shook his head. "Not a trick question, as your classmate has aptly demonstrated."

 

Second Sight retrieved a bucket of gems from the cart, levitating several of them around in the air. "Let's begin with a little hands-on training. @, I recognize that you're talented and have probably read ahead most of the class. But please recognize that others do not follow the pace you have set for yourself."

 

He walked around the classroom, distributing a purple gem to each unicorn and changeling, a cloudy white gem to each pegasus, a green gem to each earth pony and a clear gem with black wisps floating within it to the one crystal pony.

 

"Gems are excellent conductors of magic. They are able to contain and conduct magic extremely well without the aid of runes or extremely advanced spell matrices." Second Sight narrated as he distributed the gems "Now, i understand that some of you aren't... unicorns. I don't want you all to feel left out, which is why I have given you some special gems."

 

He levitated each gem in the air as he explained their individual properties

 

"The cloudy white gems which i have given to you pegasi are similar to clouds and are compatible of with your magic. Your will learn how to cast a small electricity enchantment to it with your pegasus magic."

 

"The green gems are emeralds. Emeralds specialize in containing life-giving magic, such as healing spells and growing spells. You will learn how to cast a passive enchantment on it that helps plants grow better in the vicinity."

 

He walked over to Crystal, hovering the tainted clear gem over the table.

 

"Finally, Crystal. You are a crystal pony and I know little of your magic. I don't know enough about your kind yet to teach you how to cast enchantments, however...."

 

He directed her attention towards the smoky black wisps drifting within the crystal.

 

"From what I've observed from the sombra incident, you will learn how to cleanse gems of enchantments, evil or not."

Crystal took the crystal in her hooves, then looked up to Second Sight. "But how do I, well me and the others make them work is this like a horn so to speak I mean even if it is how do I even cast a spell, I can't even read a spell book." She was utterly interested but still skeptical.

Second Sight snorted. "Who says you're gonna read a spell book? Nopony has ever done this before." he admitted, a tinge of excitement creeping into his voice. "This is history in the making!"

 

He withdrew a small notebook from his cloak,  flipping through it. "When Sombra was vanquished, your body turned crystalline, right? Did you feel any sort of tingly magical sensation around you? Or perhaps, another sensation coming from within you to meet it?"

"That is a rather personal question to ask a crystal pony, sir I don't talk about Sombra's reign it is..." She looked away. "it hurts too much to just talk about teacher. You must earn my trust before I talk about that part of my life...I...I'm sorry but, no." She looked back to the crystal in her hooves.

Second Sight blinked. "Apologies. I blatantly assumed that Sombra's death was a happy occasion for all ponies" he said with well, an apologetic tone. while I think of other methods, try to... summon the crystal magic within you and connect with the crystal. 

 

He smiled. It was warm, but a the same time chilling.

"Oh I am so glad the fuck is dead..." She spat on the floor. "I...um hem I just...lose my cool I felt joy at his demise as the Crystal heart was rekindled and it was the best thing I ever felt..." With that the crystal rose from her hooves and glowed in front of her, she was amazed by it. "is that me doing that!?"

As Second Sight stared at the crystal, he began giggling. Giggling like a madman, but just a little. "Ha Ha, Yes, YES! Your magic is kindled by your emotions!" 

 

He began jotting down notes on his notebook, his eyes twinkling in excitement. "Try focusing your connection to the crystal and coaxing the wisp enchantment out of it"

 

'So, as I theorized, contrary to current belief, Dark magic is the counterpart of the crystal pony's magic, rather than simply ordinary magic. While Sombra's dark magic was fueled by negative emotions like anger and frustration, the crystal ponies' magic is powered by positive emotions, like joy and love!'

Crystal closed her eyes and focused on what he asked and something that made her equally happy like song she came up with last month but that turned to seeing her brother smiling. Meanwhile the crystal glowed white and a aura came out of it a ball of light it flew up and boobed around the room...
