Ponies4Bronies 394 January 24, 2016 Share January 24, 2016 Depends on where you are, or the warm/cold fronts. I'm in New England its pretty cold(as usual). And it just snowed in the middle states. That does not spell warming to me. Honey Wings, my love, my life, together forever. This picture is 20% cooler thanks to Twisted Cyclone

MissSpotLight 27 January 24, 2016 Share January 24, 2016 It's actually been a pretty mild winter here in the North East, something about El Nino or La Nina. But we've gotten some snow recently. Omega Centauri 317 January 24, 2016 Share January 24, 2016 20 Degrees and around 15 inches of snow here in Kentucky. Back's still sore from shoveling the sidewalk and driveway. It's not normal for us to have this much snow, though the same thing happened about this time last year. ...But that's just my opinion.

The last big snow there was 1985, before I was two...so no memory of it. 13 inches of snow shut the city down completely. Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,356 January 24, 2016 Share January 24, 2016 It is currently 37 degrees here in Indiana and it has been immensely cold in the past week, with temperatures in the teens and wind chills below zero. It is going to warm up a bit, into the 40's, but it has definitely been more winter-like than in the past few years for us. I feel the the temperature disparity is not indicative of anything but I do think that global warming is happening.

Envy 6,147 January 24, 2016 Share January 24, 2016 Well, note that 'Global Warming' does not necessarily mean it will be warmer. It just means the weather will be crazier. However, I will say where I live it definitely has amounted to pretty much being warmer, and not much else. We did have a huge ice storm in December of 07, and an extremely bipolar winter following it, and in 2009 and 2010 (going into 2011) we had lots of snow. We broke the record total snowfall record in 2009/2010 and then again in 2010/2011! And we SHATTERED the overall record low following the massive amount of snow there in early 2011. ...But since that the winters have been warm and the storms have either been missing us or have been hitting us with rain. Not even kidding, we haven't even gotten an inch of any form of winter precipitation this year. Everything needs more woodwind!
