Can anypony recommend any good First Person Shooter games? Preferably for PCs (maybe Xbox 360 or Wii U). (and free to play or at least try).  Preferably for PCs. (and free to play or at least try).

I'm interested in trying some, so some suggestions would be great!   B)

If you have a Wii Remote, get Metroid Prime Trilogy, it's one of the best collections out there and the Wii Remote somehow makes it even better

As for the 360/PC, Far Cry Blood Dragon

Other than tf2, I can't think of any good F2p fps games for pc

HOWEVER, if you're willing to spend a small sum of money ( especially steam sales, I'm talking 7.50 or so ), you can get your hands on counter strike: global offensive. It's by far the best FPS I've played in my life.

If you dislike the round by round gameplay and competitive nature of the game ( as well as its difficulty ), you might want to try out the borderlands series. Borderlands 2 goes on sale very often and you can pick it up for 5 USD when on sale, and trust me: it's very very worth it. It's an amazing hibrid of fps and rpg

If anything else, in my personal opinion, a really nice fps is a game called evolve, where a team works together to take down a monster. Unfortunately, it has a dead multiplayer.

Oh, and there's a really nice arena shooter called Overwatch which will be releasing soon. Check it out!

Wolfenstein - The New Order

Dishonored (Haven't played it yet, but it looks pretty good.)

F.E.A.R.

The Crysis series (Haven't played 3)

Rainbow Six Vegas (With caution. The PC version for me will erase all my data whenever it crashes, and I don't know if anyone still plays the multiplayer anymore.)

The Metro series

Shadow Warrior

The Jedi Knight series

Fallout (3, New Vegas, and 4):

A post apocalyptic game that takes place after nuclear bombs strike. If you love RPG's and Open world games you would be stupid not to pick this game up.

Call of Duty:

I am not much of a Call of Duty fan myself, but if you like fast paced shoot em up games, this is for you.

Half-Life:

A video game that is rich in lore, amazing in gameplay, and has very memorable characters and enemies.

Warface:

If you like Call of Duty but no money, this is the closest you will get. (unless Call of Duty: Online comes out for the rest of the world, holy crap I want it so bad!!!)

Battlefield 4:

Like more strategy and real life traits in a game? This would be an awesome game for you.

If you have a Wii Remote, get Metroid Prime Trilogy

I wholeheartedly support this. The Metroid Prime Trilogy is one of the best game series I've ever played. It's got the perfect amount of action and exploration, and the bosses are extremely fun.

if you're looking for an FPS thats F2P on PC, (& you haven't already went with TF2  :muffins: ) maybe warframe? I've heard its got some interesting things going on. Along with that I'd say dirty bomb. Haven't tried that one out but heard god things ^^ :D

also just an aside on this: If you're into group combat and strategy games, I'd suggest war thunder and world of warships, both F2P, both well built games and unlike the ones mentioned above I DO have experience in these   anyways just some suggestions  :fluttershy:

Planetside 2. Free to play, not at all pay to win, because all weapons are sidegrades. The stuff that actually increases your stats and stuff can only be bought with the ingame currency, which you get for getting kills, healing, repairing, etc.

PS2 is a military style MMOFPS. And when I say MMO, I mean it. More so than any other shooter. There are 3 nations fighting over huge, open world persistent continents. No instances, you're in a warwith everybody else on the server. Its pretty normal for a battle to have 100+ people in it (I've been in battles with 200+ on both sides), with ground trools fighting over forts, people flying air support, tank bombardments and really fun tank battles. You can be a spy and hack enemy turrets and vehicle spawn stations to make them yours, you can drive around mobile spawn points, you can have power armor with dual rocket launchers (or miniguns or AA guns or lasers), you can air drop a behind enemy lines, there is just so much stuff to do. If you join an outfit (guild), you can be a part of awesome, tactical squad and platoon play. The entire game changes when you're organized.

That being said, it has a very steep learning curve, mostly due to a near-nonexistant tutorial. If anybody has questions about it, feel free to PM me.

Warframe is not at all an FPS. First off, its 3rd person. On top of that, its much more a hack and slash with guns and magic than a pure shooter. That being said, its a really good game and you should all try it. The devs are very, very active and involved with the community. At least 1 content patch a month, tons of frames (basically classes) and weapons to choose from and ways to build them.

However, there is a lot of grind. If you pay, you can reduce some of that grind, but there is nothing in the game that you can't get without paying. Since plat (the paid currency) is tradable, if you want a cosmetic item or something, you can just play a few void missions and sell the stuff you get for plat. It might take awhile, but hey, it's free.

You can PM me with Warframe questions, too.

Timesplitters - any of the games in the series will do, but Future Perfect is the last one they released.  VERY fast-paced FPS, excellent storyline, great humor, tons of fun.

Might be able to find it with a console emulator program.
