Dippin' Dots must be an American thing...as I've never seen them up here in Canada.

 

I went to a waterpark in Daytona, Florida and they had something called "Mol-e-Cools" or something...which was similar to Dippin' Dots.

 

I remember either variety being expensive,compared to regular Ice Cream.  :

I think they still serve them at baseball games, but it depends on who the team has an endorsement deal with. Edy's Dibs aren't too bad, either.

I saw they were selling some in a machine at the zoo when I went this year.  I used to see them in malls when they were first around but I haven't seen one like that in years.

Yes they are! We got some when I was on vacation last year in Ocean City. If you’re ever there stay on the boardwalk until you find the place.

Just seeing dippin dots will always remind me of this. Wade actually stopping for Dippin Dots is the funniest thing.

 

That being said I always loved the cotton candy dippin dots
