request Need a backup voice actor for the Doctor and the Master

Hi everyone, just so you know before I go on about this topic, if anyone is interested in voice acting for a project I suggest that you should go through my other topics. It would be generous if anyone can please take part in one of my projects, as most of them that I advertise are urgently needed to be completed sometime this year.

Now moving on, there has been a bit of a stretch going on with two of my recent projects. One of them is a parody song, and one of them is an audio play short that still needs voice actors, singers and voice actresses. However, my time lord voice actor has not been able to respond possibly due to real life happening with him right now. So, we will need a voice actor backup for the Master and the Doctor (he has another identity, called the Maniac. We'll need a singer for this character.)

You will mostly be depended on not skipping more than three weeks to voice in a project, otherwise you will no longer be able to voice act for the Doctor and the Master. I know that people have real life duties and such, but I have projects that I need to make otherwise I will never be able to post anything else on my youtube channel without voice actors. I want my channel to get more views because the animations that I have been working on have been a waste of time. So I am not sure if I should be doing anymore than what I have now. I think that most of my...*cough* 'fans' depend on me making audio play projects. It sucks for me, because I cannot do audio editing and I am poor at that. But I do want to share stories, and this is the only way to do it (trust me, I tried FIMFiction.net)

Getting to the point, I will want two types of voices for the Doctor. I have an original voice for the Master, and an original voice for the Doctor. He will be an evil character but will have the same voice out of the two that I have in mind.

I will post singing and voice acting demos below. However, there are rules if you want to have a permanent role of either the Doctor, the Maniac, the Master, or all of them at once.

Rules:

Must have a high quality mic, with little to no background noise

Must have some decent voice acting skills to make the character that you have chosen, sound interesting.
Mp3 format ONLY!! Do NOT ask to send in another format, otherwise your entry will not be considered. (This includes ZIP files.)
NO youtube video entries (this includes people that send in their reels or previous auditions as I will only rely on recent activity, like in the end of 2015 or at the start of this year.)
If I choose you as a voice actor for one of the characters, check your schedule first before you audition. I will NOT have delays if you have other work to attend to at the time you're assigned to this project.

Also - PLEASE - This is NOT a discussion page, or a topic to tell me that you cannot audition. It just lets me down more and I would appreciate it if people can at least attempt. Thank you for your understanding. :)

That is all.

WARNING: If you do NOT follow any of these rules, your audition(s) will be declined. Goodluck!

Now, the references for the singing and speaking roles are below:

NOTE: This version of the Doctor's singing voice will be the same as the Maniac's, but both of them may have slightly different tones due to their evil/good statuses.

The Master's Singing Voice (it's not a super good cover, but hopefully this singing voice can be approved on):

And now finally, for the references to download (PLEASE do not STEAL or RE-UPLOAD these files onto another site!):

Update 16/03/16: Closing this topic from now on. I'm SICK of the reputation that MLP Forums presents. Will not be making anymore topics until the people on here understand why I make these topics.

I wish I could audition, but I don't think my voice is good for the part, and the small amount of voice acting I've done is for a friends thing that's ever haven't seriously started, just practiced. We still have to get miss for that anyways. Sorry pal, I would've loved to participate. Big fan of the Doctor, especially Tenth.

As much as I'd like to be polite, I really can't be with this comment. If I get heaps of messages like this, it puzzles me as to why people like you would post comments like this at all. I'm not trying to come off as rude, but I'd rather prefer comments that are helpful rather than "oh, I may be able to do this, but I'm not that good and I may not be that useful. Sorry. (Also insert I like this character here.)" I think MAY have gotten comments like this a couple of times and it has been a bit irritating and useless (or this may have been a similar situation.) If a lot of people are going to make comments like this, I'm not going to get anywhere with my projects at all. If you have someway to improve in the future, please note me if there is any progress. I could put you in a role for a project someday. :)

This is a comment to the others as well - if you won't audition, don't comment. Simple rule to follow. Maybe I should put this warning in the description as well. Sorry for coming up as sounding bitter, but I wanted to be clear on this.

@, that was really rude to her and uncalled for. She was just trying to show some sort of support.

Here's a way to improve: don't be rude to potential actors, whether it's now or down the line. Because if they improve you may want them in your projects. If you're trying to break into this professionally, that's going to serve you far better than complaining about being crunched for time because someone makes a four sentence comment on your forum topic and not following rules of not posting on your posts.

Good luck. I certainly don't want to work for you now.

*Sigh* Do I NEED to deal with this? I don't need to deal with a useless comment, and that comment only had minor support in this. You defending for her is a waste of my time as well. I don't really want to become a horrible person, but people like you are getting to show a part of me that I am not. I am a nice person, but ridiculous comments like this shouldn't appear and try to ruin my reputation. Fine, don't audition because of this ridiculous reason. Yes, I was probably a rude person to her but I don't want to write a long apology note just because someone didn't want to audition. I'm just giving people a heads up because I don't want this topic flooded with unwanted comments. If this conversation continues, I will probably get an admin to remove this topic and find someone to voice these characters in my own time.

While I agree that part if what they said was kinda harsh, it made perfect sense. I didn't have any other need to comment except say that I couldn't participate, and that most likely got their hopes up that they had a potential back up, but me just saying I couldn't. I do understand why they so called snapped at me, and I honestly shouldn't have commented.

I am locking this with the biggest smile on my face right now. See you back later I guess. Hopefully with a little friendlier disposition!
