No other toyline has ever got a Trademark with that sentence though, only "Equestria Girls", which eventually got its own show too.

Either Gaurdians of Harmony is another spin off series or it is the name of the Movie.

Hopefully it is the latter, but seeing as how we don't have a lot of information about what it is exactly, it could go either way.

Honestly, if it were going to get its own Animated series of either movies or cartoons, I'd prefer they somehow do an "alternate reality" thing to keep it seperate from FIM so it can do its own thing without muddying the waters, like how EQG is seperate. We got all those alternate timelines from the finale after all that would be nice to see XD (CRYSTAL WARS TIMELINE PLEASE.)

that being said, I don't think that will happen. And, its important to keep in mind, they might just be doing crappy shorts like those tiny CGI shorts for the Equestria girls mini toys, yeah?

I highly doubt it will be a spin-off, so I am leaning towards a new toyline or the movie, or probably both. I just hope it isn't something that is made specifically for a toyline, with an appearance in the show being limited to maybe twice. Rainbow Power sure was exciting for like, the one time we saw it.

One thing I was thinking about: so, if S6 is the finale season before the movie, its going to end LONG before the movie is shown in fall of 2017, yeah? Maybe the GOH movie is going to be meant to act as a "filler" of sorts to keep fans sated between S6 and the movie. Equestria guy on Ponychan suggested it might be meant as a lead in to the Mane movie even, which would work to keep fans from losing interest in FIM in the gap between S6 and the movie (since its probably going to be almost a year between the end of S6 and the movie)

 

 

 

Now, a random thought on this toyline. So, I wonder how "warlike" the toys will be? Specifically, while Ones like spike and Twilight's ones are very action figure styled and for fighting, Rainbow dash, soarin and spitfire look pretty generic in style in that they could honestly pass for "normal" MLP toyline toys (No armor or anything, and not projectiles or anything)

 

Like, when we get rarity and AJ, will they have weapon accessories or just a more action pose? Like, pinkie pie's GOH toy is just her party canon which would fit in with the normal toyline (No armor or anything). Will AJ just come with like a lasso maybe and no armor or are they going to try and pimp AJ/Rarity out with weapons and armor like Twilight?

I thought that at first, but the Guardians of harmony toyline looks specifically like a toyline meant to monetize their young male fanbase and bronies, not be something as "big" as their movie.

Sadly, he said that amending fences was the last he worked on, so I'm pretty sure he's a no go for the forseeable future unless it goes on till S7 or something

Well we know its a toyline though, right? they showed it off at the toy fair after all. The only real question is what the animated portion of it refers to.

Ah, I have this fleeting hope that it might be some trick of Larson's misleading the fan base into thinking he's gone.

 

I also don't see GoH being used as the title or subtitle of the 2017 movie. I don't see the point really since anyone who has watched the show(at least before season 4) would understand what the Elements of Harmony are as well as their role and current status. So yeah, toy line with possible spinoff movie/series if it's successful.

I'm not sure if this is great or awful news. Do little girls watch that? Is this another case of brony fan pandering, that i don't like?

If the answer is yes, they have to fix certain things. Celestia is too strong and Luna is too weak in this video. Sombra has too much trouble fighting Celestia. There was also too much Celestia on the screen. Replace it with more Nightmare Moon badassery. It's proper fan pandering, if they would fix those mistakes. /sarcasm off
